  1. Chester let me share the mic with him on condemned when he came into the crowd I can die happy, haha.
  2. i don't see wearing sunglasses as disrespectful.
  3. I'll be in London.
  4. There just wasn't enough interest from the target audience? Who's to say. I'm just stating the impression I got. Eh, I can't really answer that. It'd make sense to have an official site - I don't know why they don't. Perhaps the sites they're using to spread dates and information are enough at the moment, in their opinion. And thanks
  5. Lack of promotion, a plan? No. When I was at Warner it was clear how much effort they were putting in to push DBS forward - everyone was excited about it, and the whole reason me and others were there to start with was part of another promotional push for the album.
  6. Haha, so they can't do what they want with their spare time, okay. Wow.
  7. I've noticed that when one person has a knee-jerk reaction to an incident of bad organisation on the part of DBS or their management or whatever, everyone seems to jump on the bandwagon. I'm not sure why. Nearly every post I see about DBS these days is "omg, they should stop touring, they're slowing down lp, they suck" etc. I'm looking forward to seeing them, personally. Perhaps things are a little hectic but I've seen far worse.
  8. If the new album was a middle ground somewhere between Meteora and Minutes To Midnight, that would blow my face off. I like LP's HT/Meteora style as much as the next guy but there are some elements of Minutes To Midnight that I'm fond of as well.
  9. ...Would be good if I hadn't already got tickets.

  11. Well, looks like I'm going to the London show.
  12. Well.. no, since it's for the iPhone/iPod touch.
  13. Figure.09, because that song kicks some ass. And Across The Line because it's brand new, of course.
  14. The back... hence the tracklisting?...
  15. No, you! Should be a good show.
  16. When I was talking to Warner's marketing manager.
  17. Let Down might not be used because they don't think it's heavy, rocky enough to release as a single.
  18. Something harder than Let Down, so they can release that as a single instead... I think it might've been Fire.
  19. I somehow sense sarcasm. But I agree, that's what he always seems to say.
  20. hah, nice. Hope they do release another one as well, but with 4 out already I wonder how likely it is... If they do, hoping for WIC.
  21. Feels like ages ago since I heard it. Want, want, want. Second favourite song on the album
  22. No no, don't get me wrong - the production is absolutely perfect in my opinion. I'm not meaning rough-around-the-edges as in production-wise, just the style of music. I mean "rough" as in "rocky". When I heard the album every song sounded as perfectly produced as it could be. There are a ton of electronic elements as you mention, and these only serve to enhance the sound laid down by the drums and guitars; icing on the cake if you will.
  23. It's difficult to compare them - honestly, MTM is more pop/rock; OOA is pure rock. It's a lot more grungey and rough around the edges (even with everyone saying it's "overproduced" - honestly that's a matter of opinion. I think it's just OOA's style). Chester goes all out with his vocals - you want extreme highs, lows, pure screams, soft singing - it's all there. My favorite songs on there are definitely Inside Of Me and Walking In Circles - hearing the studio version of the latter was just mind-blowing. The lyrics are so powerful. "Everyone's shut off their minds... so I'll turn on mine."
  24. haha yeah...
  25. Was fun. I agree with Walking In Circles being probably the best song on the album... I really enjoyed Inside Of Me as well. Can't get the chorus out of my head!
