    You should give it a shot - using the song tracks as a skeleton is going to be a lot easier than writing from scratch, at least that's my thinking.

    It'd be cool to have a potential thread for people to showcase their entries once the contest opens. Minimal spam, just an entry per post, some feedback etc.

    Has it been years since that cover? Wow. But yeah it was great stuff indeed. Other little stuff like the altered solo in the "In Pieces" cover we did, and the improv he does in the bridge of his "New Divide" cover shows he really has some awesome creativity.

    It'd be a shame if it was. Obviously it's easier logistically for them to do it that way but it's still a bit harsh to exclude the many non-US fans. I know, I was kidding In Coma comes out tomorrow haha, LP has dwarfed my humble little album release with their own news. :3

    I think 30 Seconds To Mars are very over-the-top, over-dramatic. But that's just my opinion. I think with their music videos they take themselves way too seriously. I don't know whether I'd prefer LP to stick with lyrics like their previous albums or not; probably, to be honest. I find it easiest to relate with those sorts of lyrics.
