I love strings - and I have to say you've done these ones very well. Nice vocal effects too, puts a nice twist on the whole thing. Got a vote from me. Correct me if I'm wrong though - don't the rules say submissions have to be between 2 and 6 minutes long?

I guess so. I wonder if someone else at WB filters through them before the band get to them - sort of like the auditions you don't see on the X-Factor Anyone still working on a mix to go up? I'm sure there are a lot of great ones still to come.

One of the best posts I've ever read. You know, I'd heard that he was bribing people away from me with promises of free albums and such, but alas - I had no proof. It annoyed me so I sent him a message about it, and he even replied saying he hadn't done anything of the sort. If you're going to lie about something, don't leave the evidence up in plain view for everyone to see.

Wow. Okay, so there's a lot of controversy here apparently. First of all, I'd like to state that I'm not cheating. What reason do I have to cheat? Being in first place doesn't even matter, considering that Linkin Park is choosing the winner. I've been promoting my mix on sites where I have presence... my MySpace, YouTube, Twitter and so on. Is that not what I'm supposed to do? I must have missed the section in the rules prohibiting me from promoting myself. Secondly, if you don't like my mix, that's cool! Seriously, that doesn't bother me. I know people have different opinions on things like this, and that's great. There'd be something wrong if everyone liked it! I just did the style I think I do best... not everyone is a fan of that, which is okay. I'm no stranger to harsh criticism. I know I don't have a great chance of winning - there are some astounding remixes up there - but I'm glad to have tried. To be given the opportunity to do something like this is quite amazing and I'm happy to have taken part. DangerSilent... having voted for you myself it's quite disheartening for you to accuse me of cheating and generally slandering my mix. But that's your opinion, of course. I liked yours. The vocal melody in particular is way catchy. Scottish. Thanks to everyone who's supporting me and best of luck in the contest to all involved.

Regarding the rules; I think I'm okay because the vocal enhancements it was referring to referred to personal assets, rather than the stems. I mean, people are changing things like EQ and reverb on the stem vocals so pitch-shifting is just another effect in that sense, if you see what I mean. Anyway thanks for the feedback
