  1. you got a point there in which i agree. i still got hope for the whole song and i won't take this song as a hint on any new songs from the new album. but being a fan for nearly 9 years now it makes me sad to see this band drift apart from songs like "and one", "part of me" and "forgotten". some call it evolution, but change does not equal evolution. i didn't mean to be rude but again, this snippet is pretty similar to the chorus of "what i've done" MUSICALLY. heck, even the tempo is practically the same. this judgement belongs to the SNIPPET ONLY, just to clarify that. so now, i've stated my opinion for everyone to understand. hopefully i won't get flamed just for pointing out an obvious similarity.
  2. i judged the supposed refrain. sorry that i wrote "songs" but just compare both refrains and if you can't see it then, i can't help you.
  3. straight from another forum: "So far it just sounds like What I've Done with less rigid drumming and a cool sounding guitar lead played over it." "If you sing the chorus of What I've Done to this song, it fits perfectly." musically it's basicly the same as "what i've done". it has a different lead melody, but that's it. just listen to the bass on both songs. im not quite sure about the actual notes, but the progression is identical. im sorry to burst any bubbles. hopefully the vocals and the rest of the song will rescue it from epic failure
  4. what appears to be the chorus sounds REALLY boring and generic. i don't like the melody over the recycled "what i've done" bass-progression. actually the whole snippet feels like a "what i've done"-ripoff in my opinion.
  5. i have literally no expectations in new lp anymore, so i just have the alternative of being surprised in a positive way. it's good to hear something REALLY new by them, though.
  6. i didn't see this coming but have to thank you guys. im glad to see that user concerns can move something. will be posting here again
  7. i never thought that this tour would get this big but as long as we can get some recordings from it im pleased. it shortens the break they were supposed to take in order to write a new album which is a good thing. still, i'd rather see them in the studio to finish the process sooner .
  8. talking with the crowd belongs to a LIVE show, period. it won't even effect the length of the show like some of you are trying to make us believe. i think not talking to the people who came out to see you is disrespectful. personally i hate it if bands just play their songs and leave. a little convo in between songs probably costs less than 1 minute each time and adds to the live atmosphere. it's actually something that made listening to old bootlegs worthwhile as the performance itself always sounded similar. it comes with no big effort at all and is nice for those who spent their money. just wanted to state that with no intention to actually answer the topics question.
  9. this won't sell out, i really hope so. 60+ euros for one ticket with just lp confirmed to perform right now is rude! nothing more! i won't go, got better things to do with my money!
  10. fuck it!
  11. oh yeah, i would like to meet you mark . though i live a bit away from both locations... sorry for the LPU request btw... germany is europes biggest market so it is just natural that they play here a lot. you shouldn't forget that these shows are some kind of promo shows aswell.
  12. the melt! festival is held there. DO NOT ASK FOR ANYTHING LPU RELATED -lilIverson09
  13. probably going to stuttgart. awesome locations! thinkin about G, too...
  14. they are working in a studio which doesn't mean that this is THE studio they will record in.
  15. what all of you are forgetting is the delay that comes with these tour dates concering the new album. we all know linkin park's way of working on stuff and i bet that they won't be finished with recording and mixing in july. they haven't even entered the studio yet and are infamous for staying in the same for like ages. even though i like to see them performing i'd rather prefer the new album as soon as possible.
  16. LOL, grow some taste (im sorry...) that's a fucking amazing line-up!!! wow, some great festivals this summer
  17. i saw that my scans were very big in size so feel free to lower their quality in order to make them smaller

  20. when i remember correctly, all 4 japan shows were up for download right after they actually happened. why is this show so rare?
  21. ah ok, i c. nevermind then, i guess!
  22. thx a lot! but i meant a special dvd that included all 3 shows, saw that somewhere sometime ago. in the menu you could choose which one you would like to watch.
  23. i would love to see the 3 dvd version of all the roseland ballroom shows
  24. btw: i miss pushmeaway.com! it was an awesome lp related site back then with a lot of stuff not included by other sites, even today. the pictures were great and she had a lot of media...
