It's not just converting but also decoding which is the bigger problem.

It's unreadable until it's decrypted. Don't waste your time, just download the 1080i version, there's nothing different.

I hate to repeat myself but there is an HD version out there. Also those files are impossible to decrypt and thus useless.

I remember the Madrid LP show being ripped from the satellite feed, and when RHCP did a similar "Live in Theaters" event the same thing happened...

I don't think anyone capped the satellite transmission, at least I heard nothing so far. There are only a few people able to do this, cause it's not easy.
