yannickwilliam
With You is one of their best opening songs! Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/817-2009-setlist-predictions/page/5/#findComment-26213 Share on other sites
Xero21
I think they'll definitely just use the same sets they did last year with New Divide added in during the first encore. Maybe if they start playing a new song, they'll use that new song to replace In Pieces/TLTGYA The setlists will really start changing after some new singles/the new album is released. gtrnowak4tkd
Bring back Wish and With you. and i hope they make Epicenter's special since it is their only real show in the US in 2009. LPPRJKT4
That's actually something I can see them bringing back. They brought back the reanimation intro for Crawling, why not the OSC bridge? linkin_boss
i'm seeying new divide for the encore break, and i think they will play something similar to pr 2008, is not what i want exactly but is most likely what will happen... Setlist: 01. What I've Done 02. Faint 03. No More Sorrow 04. Wake 2.0 05. Given Up 06. Lying From You 07. Papercut 08. Don't Stay 09. Somewhere I Belong 10. Points Of Authority 11. Leave Out All The Rest 12. Numb 13. Shadow Of The Day 14. Crawling 15. In The End 16. Bleed It Out (With drum solo) ------------------------------ 17. New Divide (probably it can have an extended intro from nest?) 18. Breaking The Habit ------------------------------ 19. One Step Closer after all this will be a kind of festivals shows plus some places where they havent played before, so they will stick with the singles =P Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/817-2009-setlist-predictions/page/5/#findComment-26355 Share on other sites
LPPRJKT4
Sonisphere is a metal festival, chester says they want to beat muse as a live act, if they play only newer singles at sonisphere they will prob be laughed at... Geki
Sonisphere is a metal festival, chester says they want to beat muse as a live act, if they play only newer singles at sonisphere they will prob be laughed at... I'm willing to bet that the set lists will just be all the singles from each album, New Divide and a couple other songs that they usually throw in the set, like Pushing Me Away, In Pieces, No More Sorrow (maybe) and stuff like that. I really hope they bring back some older songs that are heavier (And One, With You, Qwerty and other songs like that) but I highly doubt they will. Not trying to ruin anyone's hopes but LP isn't exactly the most exciting band when it comes to set lists. Linkindude92
That's actually something I can see them bringing back. They brought back the reanimation intro for Crawling, why not the OSC bridge? they actually never droped reanimation crawling intro from 04 since now (except only for few shows) Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/817-2009-setlist-predictions/page/5/#findComment-26502 Share on other sites
Geki
they actually never droped reanimation crawling intro from 04 since now (except only for few shows) Actually they didn't use that intro in 2005 or 2007 if I remember correctly. I know for a fact they didn't at Live 8, Bamboozle, PR 07 in Mansfield, Hartford and Syracuse and Edgefest in 08 because I was at the shows. LPPRJKT4
They did use the very short reanimation intro for Crawling at live 8, my sis was there and it says on the live guide. linkin_boss
i'm wondering why so many people predicts 22 song setlists ... xD far as we have seen they played 22 just in one set from pr07 and counting 2 instrumentals (Wake and cfti) so it's quite imposible and because they have played shorter setlist lately, just 19 or 20 songs Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/817-2009-setlist-predictions/page/5/#findComment-27301 Share on other sites
hahninator
they actually never droped reanimation crawling intro from 04 since now (except only for few shows) Uhhh. History of the intro: LPU 03, PR03, SS03 International 03, all other 2003 shows, MWT 04: -Short, abbreviated KRWLNG intro w/ sometimes Mike on piano on the intro (after they added Numb to the set) International 04 and PR04: -Full KRWLNG intro, opened the encore every show \m/ MFR 2005: -Unknown Live 8 2005: -Short, abbreviated KRWLNG intro like 2003 to open the set Summer 2006: -Full KRWLNG intro, opened the encore every show; Chester on vocals during the intro MTM promo shows, Europe 07, all shows until Sacramento 07; and then KROQ AAC 07: -No intro at all, regular cymbal tap into Crawling (I believe) Sacramento 07 until end of 2007 except KROQ AAC 07, maybe that club show: -Album intro with the swirl, etc. -Winter 2008: Full KRWLNG intro into Crawling (middle of the set)...sometimes Chester did vocals over it -Europe 2008 and Edgefest 08: Full KRWLNG intro into Crawling (middle of the set)...sometimes Chester did vocals over it; Mike plays keyboard on it again (at least from the first time we can hear??) Quebec City 08: -Regular swirl album intro -PR08: Middle-length version of KRWLNG intro; not short but not long; Mike raps HHH over it Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/817-2009-setlist-predictions/page/5/#findComment-27302 Share on other sites
