LPxDC Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Linkin Park have posted a new episode of LPTV discussing their involvement in Transformers: 3 Dark Of The Moon. You can watch the video below. Transformers 3 comes out July 1st 2011! Thoughts? Quote

Silvano_D Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 What I personally really enjoy about this song is that it gives me this kinda feeling you have when something special is going on. I have some good memories to this song, maybe that's even making this feeling stronger, but I guess and hope the song will fit into the movie, just as New Divide and What I've Done did Quote

Listened to the Transformers mix on my phone, my mood changed so fast I could literally feel the anger, etc, leave my body. Great song, either version (had mix on my phone to show to my friend). I absolutely love this song and am so glad it's in the movie. Got to watch the video, so excited that Iridescent may be used as a part of the score for the film as well Edited April 19, 2011 by MrCinder Quote
Biggiee2180@aol.com Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 I gotta admit, hearing the song with scenes from the movie really change my opinion about the selection. I still think the original is better, and that the new single mix should have a little more instrumentation to add more kick to the movie but all in all I'm confident these guys know what they're doing. mikeatron85 Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 (edited) Well I guess this now serves as confirmation that the song will also be used throughout the movie (the intimate moments between Sam and Carly). It will no doubt appear in the pre/during credits sequence the last two songs appeared in as well. Based on what Steve said in that video - I'm going to assume they'll use the piano stem (no vocals or other instruments) as background music to those during-movie scenes? Yeah, id say so too. Although in the first movie.. not many people realised it.. but What I've Done plays very silently in a scene when sam drops off mikaela with vocals too. They could still use vocals.. but im guessing they wont because to actually hear the song well, and the people talking well, you cant have vocals. Quote
JozM Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Yeah agree. Love the piano at the start of the song, it gives me chills. Love Iridescent, but i prefer the album version. Quote
MONDREUS240 Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 I have a feeling that this movie is going to be much better than the second. I'm actually kind of excited to see it now. Quote

I remember seeing it for the first time at the cinemas and thinking *Dear God I hope that is not the only time this song plays during the movie!* Quote
Philly_Willy Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Looks like the movie will be in tip top shape. Quote
junior8821 Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 Mike really needs a better looking hair cut. Cant wait for the movie Quote
HybridThe0ry97 Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 I thought this was a great LPTV, but it should have been a promotional video and not an LPTV episode. Quote
Numbrocker Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 Movie looks good. Glad that it'll be a bit more serious. Though did you guys notice that Mike and that guy's interviews were in Black and White? >.< Very tired of that format. Though thanks to the movie clips we've gotten more color then we've had in a long time. lol. Quote
My4oKFanLP Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 This will be a great video. Very stylish decor. Wait! Quote
mikeatron85 Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 Has anyone noticed what looks like a piece of that spaceship seen in the Transformers: DOTM teaser trailer in the background while Phoenix is speaking on that MTV first look video? Quote
