mikeatron85 Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 (edited) i thought she dies? i was hoping that would be the case but i read online somewhere recently that she dumps sam? think it was in some long-ass interview with michael bay... would have to have a look for it edit: found it! Bay: She was in school, she now lives in Washington D.C. She worked for the English embassy as kind of an assistant. And [sam Witwicky] has been dumped, and I’m not going to tell you how they meet. Source: http://collider.com/michael-bay-interview-...ay-visit/63824/ pretty insightful article in terms of the 3d shoot, etc, for those interested in that kind of thing Edited January 14, 2011 by Narc85 Quote
Mr X Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 It'd be cool if it happened but wouldn't be disappointed if it didn't Quote
kurtis912 Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 one thing... i don't see burning in the skies being the big lead song for the movie... do any of you? The only thing it'd be good for in this movie is the closing credits. BitS does not have the energy for an action movie. I'm not even sure if any songs from ATS would fit the movie. What I am sure of is that the transformers franchise is dead so why would LP bother? Quote

I'm not even sure if any songs from ATS would fit the movie. What I am sure of is that the transformers franchise is dead so why would LP bother? hmmm i dunno... the end of BitS would make a good fit for the credits... but the beginning of the song just doesn't have that punch that WiD and ND gave the end of the first two transformers movies oh i wouldn't say it was dead... despite the critical savaging RotF copped - it made more world-wide than the first one and is sitting in the top 20 of all time world-wide i think? unless he makes a vast improvement over the second though - i see the third one making less... but then again it does have the 3D surcharge which always adds more box office dollars... ugh who knows! hehe Quote
RiderSSPU Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 On Linkin theorists twitter, he said that Joe confirmed the band for transformers 3 in the Lpu chat today Quote

Sucre06 Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 Are we getting a new song or bits or what???!!! Any info?! Burning in the skies will be in Transformers 3, said someone. No wonder that this song will become the 3rd single instead of Iridescent. Quote
Sucre06 Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 HOPE they make a new song - hahha, funny. Quote
blaster667 Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 What I've Done - Gm, Bb, F, C (Im, iii, vii, VI) New Divide - Fm, Ab, Eb, Bb (Im, iii, vii, VI) Burning in the Skies - Am, C, G, D (Im, iii, vii, VI) ? but Chords in chorus of Bits change, and the tempo in the verses is 3/4. Quote
RiderSSPU Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 I wish they make new song for t3 but it sounds like bits will be it Quote
Stranger Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 I'm not sure if it's true or not but I just found it Google.. The blog said "Iridescent" will be in Transformers 3.. here's the link.. http://adiek84.wordpress.com/2011/01/29/ir...s-3-soundtrack/ Quote
adiek84 Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Of course it's true, i'm always right! ;-) Just kidding... Well, Joe said that and he should know, right? Quote
Stranger Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Of course it's true, i'm always right! ;-) Just kidding... Well, Joe said that and he should know, right? Hahaha.. Sorry dude.. Didn't notice that post was yours.. ;D So,"Iridescent" will be in the soundtrack.. Cool... Quote
adiek84 Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 No problem :-D I guess it will, if it's not changed again... Quote
Stranger Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Hahaha.. I hope they won't but if they change it,make sure it something better to replace with.. for me,"Iridescent" is a great song and can be fit in the film.. I'm totally suprise if LP make a brand new song (or just a demo from ATS) to be use as a soundtrack in the Transformers 3.. Quote
BeardyWilderness Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 but Chords in chorus of Bits change, and the tempo in the verses is 3/4. You mean time scale? Quote
RiderSSPU Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 yeah, Joe confirmed it was Iridescent. Me personally i think BITS would be better for t3 or a totally new song! Quote
Reflectionist Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 You mean time scale? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_signature Quote
zaneroks94 Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 I was the one that personally asked Joe and he did confirm 100% guarantee that Iridescent will be in the soundtrack for TF3. At first hahaha, he said they were doing a remix of Lil Wayne hahaha Quote
Stranger Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Hahahha.. Remix of Lil Wayne..? That will be an epic.. ;D Quote
FearOfTheDuck Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 I consider Iridescent being in T3 to be excellent news. My reasoning? If the song is in the movie, it will no doubt turn into a hit like What I've Done and New Divide did. If it turns into a hit, they'll have to play it at every show! Happy ducks all round Quote

Happy ducks all round I love your train of reasoning. Indeed it's worth the suffering of seeing a classy LP song like Iridescent on Transformers if it means it becoming a permanent fixture on their setlist. Definitely a win. Quote

Happy ducks all round I like your reasoning too, its funny how big of a hit New Divide was. New Divide is the most watched Lp music video on linkinparktv, it blows the views of the other music videos away. I hope Iridescent becomes this succesfull Quote
