Tomer
I would love to see Chester take the backseat for this whole album. Mike can do lead vocals on 80 percent of the album (singing and rapping), while Chester does backup singing and some screaming. I'm a Mike fan, what can I say? Oh yeah, and I want another really cool instrumental like Session. would be a boring album if mike was taking the lead vocals Chester is and will always be the lead singer, he's the best vocalist of our decade, a lot of the Camp Freddy dudes love him, that's enough for me to prove that he's beyond awesome. I love Mike's rapping but he can't do lead vocals, he can't sing, he's afraid of his voice he always uses a lot of layers and at some points it does sound robotic lol Just listen to the ear piece rip Toronto 2004, and tell me if you think that Mike can sing +1 Edited July 7, 2010 by Tomer Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/4747-what-do-you-want-in-the-new-album/page/2/#findComment-79226 Share on other sites
ChuckCheese
i want the new album to not get any kids choice nominations! How dare you, that's a great honor! 1996_LP
An epic 6-9 minute instrumental in the style of both ASAP/Wake & C4TI/Session. Basically brad, phi & rob, laying down great riffs and a powerfull rhythm section while Joe scratches like crazy over the top. Maybe a small in pieces like solo . I want LP to get a bit more complex with their instruments. The simplicity was great in HT/Meteora but it's being a bit overdone now. Ashwhisker
I would love to see an instrumental intro and interludes. Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/4747-what-do-you-want-in-the-new-album/page/2/#findComment-79308 Share on other sites

I know he layers his voice and crap. He's improved as a singer since 2004 though. I think that since Chester got the majority of the lead vocals on the last album, maybe Mike should get his fair share this time. Though, Chester didn't have nearly as much a hand in the instrumentation of Minutes to Midnight where Mike played all sorts of instruments. I guess it is fair in that respect. I just wanna hear me some more Shinoda vocals!! Thor
i wanna hear more rapping from mike and more scratching from joe. i think without those two.... their just like any other rock bands out there. its like mtm, there was bearly any scratching and rapping, and the album was totally different from their past albums. but I still love MTM, it showed that they could do anything and still make it a great album. Linkin Park has all the talent in the world to create a masterpiece of an album, and i think thats gonna happen with A THOUSAND SUNS. ForfeitTheGame91
I want the album to be like nothing I have heard before. Besides that, I would love to hear -> more guitar solos by Brad or even Mike -> Joe in action -> a full band instrumental (Mike playing keyboard, Chester and Brad guitar...) -> 2 or 3 songs with just Mike doing vocals [ a: he's a great singer/rapper and b: this could lead to longer live sets ) Edited July 11, 2010 by ForfeitTheGame91 Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/4747-what-do-you-want-in-the-new-album/page/2/#findComment-80842 Share on other sites

The best LP to me is Chester singing/screaming and Mike rapping! I want loads of that. I want the others to be utilised more too (not sure if that makes any sense!) but more guitars, more bass, more drums and more Hahn! Crank up the heavy! After the slightly more mellow MTM I want some full on noise!
