AusNeil Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 ive already got some of those mixes and i love em so this release will be fucking awesome! Quote
BlackChester Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 *cough* DTD was not only a bonus disk *cough* Quote
Geki Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 I only have the M.Shinoda remix of DTA...I want a lot of the other ones, especially the Combichrist remix of Systeme... Quote
[AndOne] Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Why don't they release some live tracks for example for once? I mean, it's becoming a little extreme with this massive amount of remixes. On iTunes there are like 15 remixes of Kick The Bass, like 4 or 5 times more remixes than actual studios tracks. I don't know if it's their style or if it has something to do with their music, but I think it would be time for something different maybe. But that's just me. Quote

ConnerzAndMrSlushy Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 at least they are releasing something. This si going to be awesome anyway; Someday Soon (Fu’s Dirty Edit)- HELL YEAH Quote

SpikeMinoda Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 is anyone else getting tired of remixes? I mean cmon man this is getting ridicolous. i wish theyd stop releasing remixes and release new stuff man +1 i love the most of them, but they really should bring new musik instead of releasing like jonas said a lot of remixes for the same song over and over again Quote
ThePretender Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 If I could choose betwee live tracks or remixes, I'd pick remixes! Quote
Astat Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 Yeah, Julien-K needs to release more live stuff (the exact opposite of LP with their non-album tracks). Why not release the video of the whole Moline, IL show or some more stuff from PR07? They obviously have a lot of live stuff in the can, and they don't sound bad live at all, so I don't see any reason for them not to. The majority of their remixes suck anyway, to be honest. Quote
immortalsoul Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 (edited) Why don't they release some live tracks for example for once? Julien-K are also defined by remix work to a great extent. It's just a part of their band philosophy, and yeah, you either love them for it or you dislike it. Personally I really like that aspect of redoing and changing existent stuff. Amir and Fu in particular are real electronic/house music nerds, and in that scene it is very common to do remix work all the time apart from the actual project. Really looking forward to the new remixes! I'm especially looking forward to the "Dreamland" remix and iPunk's remix of "Systeme de Sexe"! Edited March 31, 2010 by immortalsoul Quote
Lotsa_spaghetti Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 Is there gonna be an OFFICIAL CD RELEASE of this? And if so, where could I get it when it comes out? Quote
immortalsoul Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 Is there gonna be an OFFICIAL CD RELEASE of this? And if so, where could I get it when it comes out? No, it will only be released digitally. But the original Death To Digital compilation is a bonus CD in the special edition of DTA. Quote

Geki Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 I'm gonna buy DTD tomorrow. But I agree that they should release more live tracks, maybe Chester doing their set on PR07. Quote
Killerbarbie Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 I totally agree with what is said about live/new material. But I'm really looking forward to the remixes. Imo some remixes are even better then the original. (not only JK related) Quote
Geki Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 I just downloaded the album and I actually REALLY like it. A lot of the remixes are fucking amazing!!! Totally worth 9.99! Quote
Killerbarbie Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Downloading as we speak....checking it out later this eve!! Quote
immortalsoul Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 Is this iTunes only? Yep, but an instrumental EP of DTD X can be found on Beatport! Really love iPunk's remix of "Systeme de Sexe" and Fu's take on "Someday Soon." The other new remixes that I haven't heard before are also pretty cool! Quote
