With rap and screamo vocals plus some scratching and layered guitars, Linkin Park is one of the most innovative bands of the new millenium. They've scored hits on pop and rock radio and have toured the globe, followed by their signature mosh pits. Setlist: 1. Shadow of the Day- this soft ballad will soothe everyone with its ending guitar solo until... 2. One Step Closer- let the rapping/screaming/headbanging begin. this is a metal song with a pop chorus "Shut up when you're talking to me" 3. New Divide- a new hit off the Transformers 2 soundtrack. electronic effects and a killer keyboard breakdown halfway through. 4. IMO, a likely Superbowl setlist should be: WID (long intro) New Divide BTH (piano outro) OSC (all extenders) Love the other bands suggested as well. Bleed It Out 4. Faint (Outro) 4 easily recognizable singles, none of them are too heavy or too soft, very similar to the Transformers 2 show.
