the merch looks awful

the concept of the backdrop is kinda interesting but the bag looks cheap

everything looks cheap.

0% mention about exclusive music (demos, live stuff)

the only thing that i like is the orange blue theme.

is it the first time ever without a T-shirt?

not gonna buy it.

As I said in the shoutbox, the eye mask is included so you don’t have to look at yourself in the mirror after forking out $75 for a branded bargain bin package.

Alex was right. LPU has fallen from grace and landed flat on its face. Vote with your wallets, this is no longer okay.

Really disappointed in this. I was hoping with so much material recorded in the years preceding From Zero that we'd get demos again. I know they don't want to dig into the Chester Bennington vault for LPU anymore, but it would have been nice to get something from the new era of the band.

At the very least they could toss us a digital album of the live songs cut from the UNSHATTER soundtrack.

This gets my vote for worst LPU package of all time.

people used to trash the cookies album

being honest to this day i still listen to Da Bloos and 26 lol those are cool funny songs and when my daughter was around 3 years she liked those songs.

at this point they should not embarrass themselves they dont have to make a pack if they dont have the quality to sell it.

Just sell those things separately for sure there's some asshole who will pay 25 for a masking tape or 30 for the eye mask and the cash register will keep working.

It’s really become a joke.
I can't even believe they have the nerve to announce this.
But if they announced it, they know there are weird people who will buy it.
It’s a shame, and disrespectful to the LPU legacy 25th.
It used to be so good.
Good times...

if you read those "hardcore" fans on Twitter (eg: the ananas girl) and some of these new fans who never experiences LPU before, definitely gonna buy it for the sake of "im supporting the band!" and "i love emily-fangirling fans". looks like it's an easy task for both Adam & Lorenzo managing LPU these days. they seems proud of it.

exactly! just like Live In Texas and LPU 3! if not physically, make it digital stream or whatever shit. make the paid fanclub looks exclusive! nope, they wont bother to do it.

MMM.. Cookies is a gem. it's definitely one of a kind LPU CD. despite the hate. now the physical copy being so damn expensive on eBay.

if we're talking bout t-shirt in the bundles, nope, this is not the first time. i think they stop doing it few years ago. the bundle package just include Lanyard, Tag, some random shit.

hell, even the ZINE is not included in this new bundle and yet the price is almost the same

I couldn't believe my eyes, either. You know it's BAD, when stranger is forming critique.

Im joining the critique. Its time for new demos, and they have plenty. Adam and Lorenzo know what the fans want, and it cant be this

it's about time for a REBELLION! 😆 i mean, these LPU things getting out of hand to be honest. 2024, i get it, it's a comeback. 2025, they're busy touring. 2026, the 25th anniversary of LPU and THIS IS ALL WE GOT? not to be ungrateful but LPU back in the days, they still juggle up between their busy timeline, schedule and yet gave us the quality of LPU Demos. i believe, LPU CD what makes the fanclub BETTER than other bands fanclub. now, it's just a regular fanclub, nothing to fancy about.

they know what fans want but you know, they do have their "favourite" fans which those who went to LP shows more than 50 times, and those people will be like "whatever you guys do, we support and we gonna buy it!". just checkout Twitter and you can see those replies. these people are the ENABLERS.

Unfortunately, posts on a forum will hardly change any hearts regarding LPU if all the major players on social media are supporting this or silent about the dip in quality. Including LPL.

It's the "extract maximum value from superfans at minimum cost" model and people have been too blinded due to the band's hiatus. This is a business decision and as long as the data supports it there will be more squeeze.

might be surprising but those LPU staff surely in here and they always monitoring what's happening in the forum. i believe even the band also have an account. 😎👻 but yeah. business wise, they already win as those supporting fans easily buy it without questioning it. in the end, it doesnt even matter!

I'm aware. They're here but they can easily choose to ignore a vocal minority on a forum, a format that fewer and fewer people use. The feedback loop happens on X and on Discord.

I've worked with several bands that over the years have moved to this exact model. The big superfans and fan communities help to drown out the dissonance.

This LPU package for me is just like the band's new record they planning to release in 2027-2028 - a complete 0 interest for me!

Thank You!

LPU was always something exclusive (for me) but it didn't mean I'm better fan than non-lpu fans. The exclusiveness was the t-shirt, the CD!, additional merch addded to the package, the band letter. Also, the exclusive things that non-lpu folks didn't have: text chats, video chats with the band members, EXCLUSIVE things outside the internet -> M&Gs, Early Entry, Early presale access.

Today? Like someone said, you need lpu to secure best spots on shows (the ticket prices are different topic) otherwise you'll end up in a 3rd section on the pit. Believe it or not, that's all unfortunately. What's exclusive about LPU today? Passport photo holder for sure :( Someone high-ranked must have forgotten that we're in this FOR THE MUSIC, not for random upcycled, recycled merch ideas :( (although piece of STAGE BACKDROPS is kinda cool, but not for $75)

Can you see the difference here?:DIFFERENCE.thumb.jpg.82bec78879b275ef36392587d442b804.jpg

LPU has become same thing as the apps on your phone over months/years. Nobody ever asks what would you like us to change here and there, they just change things they think are better for you (but they're not). And all you're left with is something lackluster, bland and soulless (sorry for this but this is how I feel about the new package). After so many years, exciting two-year comeback I only expected a CD in the bundle. Nope. Here's your eye mask sir.

But this world is full of fangirls (look below for Stranger's comment) who will buy literally anything in the name of "supporting" the band, not to think about what they're actually getting (and probably throwing into their closet or storage box).

I was one of them trashing to be honest, and I can admit I was wrong. I fuckin play them cookies from time to time and I have so much fun listening to this thing..I apologise, I was wrong.

I'd leave Lorenzo and Adam out of this, I'd say them higher folks at WB/management must be proud and happy it's an easy task these days.

I do think the LPU package is overpriced, but I can also see why it doesn't include a lot that the older days did.

Insta/Tik Tok/Digital media is just so much more prolific than early days. A live chat in 2012 was an event that required marketing muscle to make sure ppl tuned in, now Colin can just go live on Tiktok and anyone can see. Any music or video released on CD or YouTube unlisted will be immediately leaked. Streaming makes it super easy to release anniversary/bonus tracks that generate more buzz than a fan club item. Every band member has video intereviews on dozens of channels, including every day influencer channels. Why would a marketing team put any muscle into the old LPU things when there's no clear payoff and there's so much like it coming for free now? The only thing left is physical merch.

I see the LPU has become enshitified.  How fitting in the year 2026.  The online masses (sheep) are sure to rejoice at their opportunity to throw money at this.  This is the bootlicker generation after all.  I love this timeline.  The LPU is actually a great case study on the difference between this year and yesteryear and why nearly everything is less spectacular now than it was then.  I may just be old now but I'd rather be old and remember when everything wasn't so crap rather than being young, dumb, and blissfully ignorant of what could be while I shovel more slop down my throat to distract me from the absolutely awful state of things all around us.

I'm sorry if I offended anyone, it wasn't my goal, just speaking my mind.
