[High_Voltage] Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 I like My Suffering... all three songs were kick ass... but the only live version of morning after i can find has the Julein-K remix playing over it. i really want to hear this song's studio sound.. im burned out on the live accustic and Julien-K remix Quote
LPxDC Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 in that case with the labels, then they need to go with machine shop. mike created machine shop didnt he? machine shop is literally a ghost town nobody but FM is signed under it at the moment. wasnt Level 7 supposed to be a record label? Quote
Daniel R. Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 machine shop is literally a ghost town nobody but FM is signed under it at the moment. wasnt Level 7 supposed to be a record label? Man, now I'm gettin confused. Anyway, DBS would be an ideal name for Chester's solo project. Dunno why, think I just got used to that name Quote
Kruspe Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 I have to say that I can't wait for this album! Let Down is serieously one of the best tracks I've ever heard! Can't wait to get a studio-version of that song! Quote
April Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 What if it sounds like - Chester Bennington "Dead By Sunrise"? DBS - the name of the album, not of the band. Quote
LPxDC Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 serj named his after himself because the parent label wouldn't allow him to release it as "the flying c*nts of chaos"i thought the FCC was his backup band? Quote
hahninator Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 DBS official release - September 2009 according to Chester I wonder if they'll do like...summer Euro festivals/PR Europe then PR USA then take a break for DBS, then do a winter tour. hmm. Quote
Elementary Warrior Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Taking a break seems likely. They could tour together for a few international shows, it would mean DBS could go to the Southern Hemisphere since I doubt DBS would pay to visit the Southern Hemisphere alone. I hope I'm proven wrong, I'd love to see Let Down. Though it will be a drain on the body. IMO, I like the idea of giving the band a name, rather than calling it Chester Bennington. What do you think? LPPRJKT4 Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 I guess since is the DBS thread I mite as well put that "Crawl Back In" and "Give Me Your Name" are two new songs confirmed on the album. Or is it still not def that they made it? Quote
LPxDC Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 ^was that on the pic with chaz and the cd released? if so yea. or could still be demo names who knows Quote
Elementary Warrior Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 (edited) ^was that on the pic with chaz and the cd released? if so yea. or could still be demo names who knows Yes, and it's pretty much guaranteed that "Give Me Your Name" will be on it because it was on the original tracklist for the CD. The Sunset Sound CD includes the heading "1/19/2009 Ruff Mix" so they aren't finalized yet. Edit: On second thought, Chester has changed his mind several times as to whether the album is complete during the recording process. So, things could still change. lovechester_lp_0990 Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 DBS is a pretty good name! I hope that the album sounds a little bit like Grey Daze, i love that band =) yeah it has a good meaning but it's not a too unique name though. We had a band called Dead by April out there... Quote
