That seems a long time ago, especially when he was telling how big of a creative period he was having back then. That's of course no guarantee of new LP material but.... If there is going to be a big announcement, I could imagine either a re-recorded song, or an entirely new song along with it. I would prefer new music because it's something for us to listen to after the tour is over, but shows alone would be a huge step for the band. I'm hoping they do something like when blink-182 reunited with Tom in 2022. Announce a tour, a new single for imminent release, and that they're working on a new album. By the time we get to Wednesday the consensus will be that LP is touring with 25 vocalists, a specialist for each song in the setlist, and there will be ten rotating setlists in their six-continent world tour with three albums of new music ready to go.
