putting new divide is such a joke haha

same for BIO/Faint

put in carousel or part of me, then this unrealistic shows can happen :D

Here's why they won't pull a "Metallica." Metallica has been around for 29 years, 6 months short or so of 30. A band would do something like that as they get older, to please old school fans. Linkin Park's been around not even half of that, they're still in their prime, as far as album sales go.

Then again, many many many if not most (check last.fm) LP listeners, listen to Hybrid and Meteora just as much as M2M, so bringin it back would not be a bad move as far as (oh, know one knows this music type ordeal)

edit: I wonder if there will be a re-release of Hybrid Theory, maybe remastered :D :D (it just be fun to hear it a different way after 10 years) Also guys and girls, don't forget to check out the "Customize Your Own Setlist" thread, its a ton of fun, I'm gonna post mine real soon.

Yeah, NIN did it after twenty years...on their last tour. For prolly ten years or so. I see what you mean.

Hybrid Theory Deluxe Edition would be awesome...but then again, what would go on a second disc? DEMOS? lol.

Why the fuck not? I saw The Cult do that shit. They did an entire album start to finish, 13 songs, then came out and did like 7 more songs of old hits and a few rarities. Fucking SWEET and creative show. Why can't LP try that? Rotate the 19 and 20 spots, close with Faint. Still play New Divide cause it hasn't been played much and then those 4 new songs. Done.

This is true, when I've talked to my lesser educated LP fan friends, they always say they like the "older stuff" so much more than the new stuff, and a good deal of the time, they don't just list the generic "Crawling," or "In The End," some have said "A Place for My Head," "By Myself," "Easier To Run," and all those lesser known songs. I can use myself as a great example, the first LP song I ever heard was Nobody's Listening, which is their most underrated song of all time losing only to Easier To Run probably, which was only played live for like one or two small tours. Personally I think if LP did a HT only tour with an encore of their later hits (kinda like MCR with The Black Parade), it could work. Something like this.

01. Papercut (Smokeout 03 Intro)

02. One Step Closer (08 Intro, Reanimated Bridge with Jonathan Davis, Extended Outro)

03. With You (Reanimated)

04. Points of Authority (09 Intro & Outro or some new Intro & Outro with Petrified and There They Go)

05. Crawling (Reanimation Intro ft. Chris Cornell or Aaron Lewis)

06. Runaway (Short 04 Intro)

07. By Myself (03 Intro)

08. In the End

09. A Place for my Head (Brad Solo)

10. Forgotten (Singalong Bridge)

11. Cure for The Itch (Live Reprise)

12. Pushing Me Away

13. My December

14. High Voltage (Reprise) (This would be a great main set closer and hasn't seen the light of day since 01 unless you count it over POA)

Encore

15. What I've Done (Ambo Intro)

16. Given Up (Extended Outro)

17. New Divide (Synth Intro)

18. Leave Out All The Rest

19. Numb (Piano Outro)

20. Breaking the Habit (Piano Instrumental Intro, Acapella Outro)

21. Somewhere I Belong

22. Faint (Extended Outro)

23. Bleed It Out (All Extenders)

This could be a reasonable set for an anniversary show.

It would've come right after CFTI, because you can hear the outro of CFTI fading into the 2000 version of HV.

The Down Syndrome is by Grey Daze...

By the way, a lot of people would probably be surprised at the kind of stuff LP works on during rehearsals that never makes it on stage. My December was being soundchecked routinely as early as September of 2001 but wasn't added to the set full-time (with the exception of one oddball performance in the UK) until December. Carousel was also rehearsed at soundchecks around that period. We all know No Roads Left has been tried out during rehearsals for tours over the past couple years, and I've heard from a pretty reliable source that By Myself was dusted off during rehearsals for the '09 tour. The band's always brushing up on stuff they've never played or haven't played in a long time, there's just no guarantee of it making it to the stage.

They should do a Hybrid Theory Tour wher they played the album from start to finish plus bsides:

I heard about By Myself for 2009 too and i was shocked. I still have a little hope but i think there won't be any real old stuff anymore.

I can really see them doing a lot of Reanimation-related things since that is their other extremely electronic release. Pushing remix will likely be played IMO as well as possibly bringing back the OSC Reanimation bridge or possibly just playing the whole remix.

Edit: grammar fix
