    - The band performed a shortened version of the setlist they played for the Harman Infinity One Launch in Las Vegas, NV two days prior. 'Lost In The Echo' and 'A Light That Never Comes' were dropped.

    - Chester was sick during the show and let the crowd sing large portions of 'New Divide' and 'Numb'.

    - Mike rapped verse two of 'Until It Breaks' over the intro to 'Waiting For The End'.

    - Ann and Nancy Wilson from Heart joined the band for 'Castle Of Glass'. This is the first time that female musicians have ever joined the Linkin Park on stage.

    - The Filharmonic from the show "Sing Off" joined the band for the 'Iridescent' portion of 'LOATR/SOTD/Iridescent' and performed an acapella outro to the song.

    - Mike and Chester both sang part of the lyrics to 'Numb/Encore' over the outro of 'Numb'.

    - Mike Einziger from Incubus joined the band for 'What I've Done' and 'In The End'. He had joined the band previously on the 2012 Honda Civic Tour for 'Bleed It Out'.

    - Travis Barker from Blink-182 joined the band for 'Bleed It Out' and performed a dueling drum solo with Rob during the bridge. He previously joined Mike, Chester, and Steve Aoki for 'A Light That Never Comes' in November 2013.

    - Mike thanked everyone who was associated with the show over the intro of 'Bleed It Out'. He thanked Stryker from KROQ, Ann and Nancy Wilson, Mike Einziger, and many others.

    - This show was a benefit show for the Philippines after Typhoon Haiyan devastated the country. It was announced only 30 days prior. Tickets were given to people who raised a minimum of $250 in support of the cause.

    - During the soundcheck before the show, the band rehearsed 'Castle Of Glass' with Ann and Nancy Wilson numerous times. After that, Mike Einziger joined them for 'What I've Done' and 'In The End'. Travis Barker's drumset was brought out for 'Bleed It Out' but he did not appear at the soundcheck. Chester left the soundcheck very early due to being sick.

    - Stryker from KROQ had a speech after the band left the stage. He thanked everyone for their work and reminded the crowd to always help others.

    - Chester and Phoenix went down into the crowd after the show to meet fans, sign autographs and take pictures with people.

    - A stray sample was played by accident during the first verse of 'Burn It Down'.

    - The band shortened the Wall Of Noise Outro of 'Waiting For The End' due to Chester missing a repeat and Rob following his lead. You could hear Mike playing guitar a bit after it ended, anticipating that the band would continue.

    - Mike's solo portion of the show featured a 'hybrid' verse of 'Wretches And Kings', the chorus of 'Remember The Name' (by Fort Minor), and a 'hybrid' verse of 'Remember The Name'. After the 'hybrid' verse of 'Remember The Name', he went into the chorus again. There was a sample mishap when the Savio speech kicked in.

    - Joe played a sample of 'In The End' right before the song kicked in, causing them to restart.

    - The guitar cut out briefly during the second chorus of 'Faint'.

    - The band played a special setlist for this show, featuring their most popular singles and new songs from 'The Hunting Party'. After the show, Linkin Park recorded three songs for Jimmy Kimmel Live.

    - Jenn Marino, radio personality for iHeartRadio, hosted the show. She came up and asked a few questions after 'Waiting For The End', 'Wastelands', and 'What I've Done'.

    - Joe messed up the intro to 'In The End' multiple times, prompting Mike to say, "Technical difficulties!"

    - After 'What I've Done', Brad joked about going to the bathroom with his guitar during the next few questions. The band then went into a very 'unique' conversation about going to the bathroom. Chester claimed that Brad's guitar was actually his penis.

    - This performance was billed as the release show for The Hunting Party. The band last did a release show for A Thousand Suns at the Best Buy Theater in New York in 2010, as Living Things did not have a release show.

    - To gain admission to the show, fans had to win a spot from the LPU.

    - After the show, the band played a few songs that were aired later on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Due to the Jimmy Kimmel Live outdoor concert being canceled on June 19th, the band decided to record a few songs for JKL at this venue. Fans were allowed to stick around and watch the songs.

    - The band debuted a new setlist to kick off the world tour for The Hunting Party. For the first time, the setlist was divided into three "acts" and featured several different portions of the live show, several of which included shortened song versions.

    - To start the show, a new intro mashup of 'The Catalyst' and 'The Requiem' was used. It featured mostly a shortened version of the middle of 'The Catalyst' instrumentally with 'The Requiem' over it.

    - 'Guilty All The Same' featured several large technical difficulties during the beginning portion of the song. Both Brad and Mike's guitars were muted at different points. There were also further technical difficulties with Brad's guitar on 'Points Of Authority', as well as difficulties with samples on several songs ('Numb', 'Until it's Gone', and 'A Light That Never Comes'.). A noteworthy subject is that this was the first show for Brad's new guitar tech, with Sean Paden (June 2003 - January 2014) leaving before the touring cycle started. Chester messed up the lyrics in the second verse of the song.

    - 'Points Of Authority' featured a new, shortened intro to the song.

    - This was the first time that 'One Step Closer' has been performed outside of the first three songs of the show and its other "signature" spots (end of main set and in the encore).

    - 'Blackout' was played in a short instrumental form, which started "Act II" in the setlist.

    - Starting with 'Papercut', quite a few songs were played in shortened forms including 'With You', 'Runaway', 'A Light That Never Comes', 'Lost In The Echo', 'Crawling', and 'New Divide'.

    - Chester screamed the "c'mon" intro on 'With You' for the first time since Warsaw 2012. That show was the first time that he did it on the entire Living Things World Tour. This is the first time since March 2002 (the end of Projekt Revolution 2002) that the studio intro of 'With You' was performed. It was "Reanimated" during the entire Meteora World Tour (including Japan in 2006) and had the Ext. Scratch Intro from 2012 to early 2014.

    - On the transition outro of 'Runaway', Mike rapped verse one of 'Wastelands'.

    - 'Castle Of Glass' (labeled the "Experience Version") was debuted as a mashup of the album version with Mike's Recharged remix. Only the intro/first verse came from the album version before it went into the remix portion of the song.

    - To start "Act III", a portion of 'Robot Boy' was performed instrumentally with the intro, the synth breakdown (extended by Mike) and the ending (including Brad on guitar). This is the first time that any portion of the song has ever been played live. When the A Thousand Suns World Tour ended in 2011, 'Robot Boy' was the first Linkin Park song off of a major album (Hybrid Theory, Meteora, Minutes To Midnight, and A Thousand Suns) to have not been performed live.

    - Joe's solo portion of the show featured parts of the 'Victimized' M. Shinoda remix from Recharged, 'Session', 'Buy Myself' (Marilyn Manson Remix), 'Cure For the Itch', and 'Plc.4 Mie Haed' from Reanimation.

    - Mike's solo portion of the show featured the first verse of 'Wretches And Kings', a sped up chorus of 'Remember The Name' (by Fort Minor), and Mike's verse from the 'Skin To Bone' Nick Catchdubs remix from Recharged. The instrumental of the medley incorporated part of 'Wretches And Kings', part of the 'Skin To Bone' remix, part of 'Remember The Name', and part of 'In My Remains'. The first Hip Hop Medley for Linkin Park was in 2004 with 'Step Up/Nobody's Listening/It's Goin' Down'. Joe also assisted with the Mike solo medley (the only other member of the band on stage).

    - A new intro for 'Numb' came directly from the medley before it and for the first time, a part of 'Numb/Encore' started the song. 'Numb/Encore' was used for both the intro and outro of the song. Brad's guitar part during the first verse of the song also is from 'Numb/Encore'.

    - Mike played guitar for the first time on 'In The End' at this show. He picked up a guitar before the bridge of the song. This is the third song to feature a change instrumentally from Hybrid Theory. Mike began playing guitar on 'One Step Closer' in 2007 and began playing keyboard on 'Runaway' in 2012.

    - 'Until It's Gone' featured a new intro for the song with parts of 'The Catalyst' and 'No More Sorrow' mashed up together with parts of 'Until It's Gone'.

    - A new drum outro for 'Lost In The Echo' was added to the song. This was the first performance of the song at an actual concert without the 2012 Intro that it had from Bristow 2012 (its live debut) to earlier in 2014. The Third Encore SiriusXM performance in August 2012 didn't have an intro, but it was just a rehearsal for a few lucky fan winners. Mike messed up the lyrics in the second verse.

    - The tempo of 'Crawling' was sped up to fit with 'New Divide'.

    - 'What I've Done' featured a new, extended bridge with a longer guitar solo by Brad.

    - During the bridge of 'Bleed It Out', Rob performed a drum solo before the band sang a refrain from 'The Catalyst'.

    - This was the first time that 'Guilty All The Same', 'Wastelands', and 'Until It's Gone' were performed live.

    - The new intro mashup debuted at this show, containing parts of 'The Catalyst, 'The Requiem', and '1stp Klosr'.

    - This was the first time that 'Robot Boy' was performed. While it wasn't the full song, it was still the first time that the song has been played in any form.

    - Mike and Joe got new solos. Joe's featured parts of various songs, including 'Cure For The Itch', 'Buy Myself' (Marilyn Manson Remix), 'Wretches and Kings', the 'Victimized' M. Shinoda remix from Recharged, 'Plc.4 Mie Haed' from Reanimation, and a bunch of other new sounds. Mike's solo included an instrumental mashup of 'Wretches and Kings', 'Skin To Bone', 'Remember The Name' by Fort Minor, and 'In My Remains'. Mike rapped verses of 'Wretches and Kings', 'Remember The Name', and the 'Skin To Bone' (Nick Catchdubs Remix) from Recharged.

    - There was an incident before the Linkin Park set where Sublime With Rome accused the band (specifically Chester) of calling the police on them for smoking weed backstage. On May 27th, Mike tweeted: "LP didn't "call the cops" on @RomeMusica smoking pot. Not sure where the rumor came from. Definitely not my style, bummer it happened.", "We were at a meet & greet when Sublime was on stage, not dressing room. Wouldn't even know if there was smoke. CC: @AltPress @RomeMusica", and "If someone was "representing the band" to the cops in the venue about weed smoke, they were out of line."

    - A presale for the event at local Tuscon Pizza Hut locations on April 12th featured tickets for only $35.

    - An ad from KFMA incorrectly stated that the only way to meet Linkin Park at the event was to donate non-perishable food goods to the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona tent from 10:00am to 2:00pm to win a Meet And Greet pass.

    - The band played an abbreviated setlist due to the show starting very late.

    - During Mike's solo medley, he rapped a hybrid verse of 'Wretches and Kings', the 'Remember The Name' chorus, and his verse from the Nick Catchdubs remix of 'Skin To Bone'. Mike dedicated the Fort Minor portion of the medley to Black Violin, who was in the crowd.

    - Before the band went offstage after 'Faint', the samples for the 'Until It's Gone' extended intro from the European Tour played briefly.

    - Chester came out onstage during the encore break to apologize for being very late. He didn't say why there was such a big delay, but said it was for a "good reason."

    - Multiple samples were triggered during the encore break.

    - Mike's mic was turned on by accident during the encore break. When they realized what happened, he responded with "That's what we call a preview!" and the band laughed it off.

    - Since 'New Divide' was dropped in order to save time, 'Crawling' was performed with an extended intro rather than transitioning from the song. Joe messed up the intro.

    - Mike rapped the first verse of 'With You' over the extended intro of 'Until It's Gone'.

    - During the bridge of 'Bleed It Out', Rob performed a drum solo before the band sang a refrain from 'The Catalyst'.

    - By the end of the show, Chester had sustained some kind of injury. Mike and Jim Digby helped him walk across the stage after 'Bleed It Out'.

    - The show was sold out.

    - The band was over 40 minutes late. As a result, the setlist was shortened due to an 11:00pm curfew.

    - The show was almost cancelled due to Chester having an intense back pain. On August 11th, Mike said the following about it in an impromptu LPU chat: "Chester was feeling terrible, but now he’s feeling better. We were REALLY close to canceling the first show but he pulled it off. He was literally crying in pain. And went on stage anyway. He’s a hero."

    - Trailers for Joe's movie, "The Mall" was shown on the screens before the show, featuring previously unreleased songs from the movie, as well as one of the songs we'd previously heard, known as 'Warm Spell'.

    - The studio version of 'Wake' was performed for the first time since 2008.03.10 Sacramento, the last show of the North American Winter Tour for Minutes To Midnight. After that, the band performed 'Wake 2.0' through the rest of the 2008 tours.

    - Mike rapped verse two of 'Until It Breaks' over the intro to 'Waiting For The End'.

    - This is the first time that 'Empty Spaces' and 'When They Come For Me' have been performed live since the second night in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in October 2012.

    - Mike and Chester both sang part of the lyrics to 'Numb/Encore' over the outro of 'Numb'.

    - 'A Light That Never Comes' was on the setlist to start the encore but was dropped at the last minute due to Chester feeling sick. There was a scramble to remove the pads from the stage so that the band could start the encore with 'Faint'.

    - This was the fourth year in a row that Linkin Park performed in Las Vegas, following the 2011 headlining arena show, the 2012 Billboard Music Awards and iHeart Radio shows, the 2013 headlining Planet Hollywood show and this show at The Joint.

    - This show was originally billed as a Music For Relief / Power The World benefit show. An email from October 22, 2013 from Music For Relief read, "Electricity is a privilege unavailable to most poor families in Nepal, so they use thousands of pounds of wood for cooking. Smoke from these indoor fires results in 4 million deaths (mostly women and children) per year from lung and heart diseases, cancers, burns and more. Join us to provide clean biogas cookstoves to benefit people, wildlife, and the planet. If you raise $565 for one biogas system by November 22, you will be entered to win tickets to see Linkin Park at a small, private show in Las Vegas in January." Only around ten people raised $565, so the show was put on sale to the public on December 2nd just before the Los Angeles "Concert For The Philippines" was announced.

    - Hybrid Theory was performed in its entirety start-to-finish for the first time ever.

    - 'By Myself' was last performed live on October 29, 2003 in Seoul, South Korea. Mike read lyrics from the stage for both By Myself and Forgotten.

    - 'Forgotten' was last confirmed to have been performed on February 24, 2002 in Las Vegas, but the band performed a show at the House Of Blues in Los Angeles on March 4, 2002 for a benefit concert. The setlist for that show is unknown, but it was likely that the Projekt Revolution 2002 headlining setlist (which included 'Forgotten') was performed at that show. The band messed up the beginning of the song, with Chester and Mike both skipping the first line. Mike messed up part of the second verse.

    - 'Cure For The Itch' was last performed on August 31, 2011 in Los Angeles. That version of the song (performed throughout Europe and North America in summer 2008 as well as for two shows in August 2011) was a remix. The studio version was last performed on June 4, 2001 in London, but all performances in 2000 and 2001 were shortened. See the Debut note for this version of the song.

    -' Pushing Me Away' was last performed on August 21, 2008 in Maryland Heights, MO. The piano version of the song was last performed two shows later on August 24, 2008 in Woodlands, TX.

    - After Hybrid Theory, eleven more songs were performed to close out the show.

    - 'Wastelands' was performed with a hard start to the song due to it being the first performance without it coming out of the end of 'Runaway' like all of the prior shows in 2014.

    - The intro for 'Until It's Gone' featured parts of 'No More Sorrow', 'The Catalyst', 'New Divide', and 'Until It's Gone' mashed together.

    - From the encore "medley" (all songs were performed essentially transitioning out of each other), 'A Light That Never Comes' and obviously 'Crawling' were removed.

    - During the bridge of 'Bleed It Out', Rob performed a drum solo before the band sang a refrain from 'The Catalyst'.

    - This is the first full show that 'Faint' has not been played at since the beginning of the LP Underground Tour in 2003 when it was debuted live for the first time. It is also the first time that just one song from Meteora ('Numb') was on the setlist for a show since the touring cycle began for that album.

    - This was the first time that the full studio version of 'Cure For The Itch' was performed live. Mike rerecorded the vocal samples in the song for this performance and Joe added a few more improv beats over the song. The ending fade-out was lot longer than the studio version and past performances.

    - On November 5, 2013, the band announced, "Linkin Park will be headlining next years Download Festival on Saturday June 14th, 2014 and performing HYBRID THEORY in its entirety." Chester added, We have been kicking around the idea of playing HYBRID THEORY for some time and the perfect opportunity is DOWNLOAD 2014. The legendary energy of the DOWNLOAD crowd is the apex of the rock experience and we are very excited to share this special night with them.

    - This is the only time in the band's history that Hybrid Theory has been performed start-to-finish in full at one show. The only known time where all songs from the album were performed at one show (not in order) is a June 4, 2001 headlining show at London's Brixton Academy. After 'Morning After', 'Cure For The Itch' is reported to have been played (for the first time since January 2001). In 2001, quite a few shows featured every song from the album except for 'Cure For The Itch', including Rock am Ring, Rock im Park, and the European Headlining Tour in September.

    - A German flag was hung on Mike's keyboard during the show. It was made by Thomas Eger from BlackChester.de (German LP fansite) and featured LPLive on it as well as BCDE. It was the second Rock am Ring show (2012 and 2014) to feature both sites on a flag on stage. In 2012, the same flag was used at both Rock im Park and Rock am Ring.

    - On the transition outro of 'Runaway', Mike rapped verse one of 'Wastelands'.

    - Mike's solo portion of the show featured a hybrid verse of 'Wretches And Kings', the chorus of 'Remember The Name' (by Fort Minor), and verse one of 'Hands Held High'. 'Hands Held High' was done because of a request at the Meet & Greet by LPLive staff member Jonas ([AndOne]) who asked for 'Reading My Eyes'. Mike said that verse wouldn't work, but he would find something that would fit there for him. Mistakenly at the end of the medley, Mike shouted "Berlin make some noise" to the crowd.

    - Mike messed up the first verse of 'In The End'.

    - During the intro of 'Bleed It Out', Mike talked about seeing footage of them playing at Rock am Ring in 2001 (earlier in the day), the first time they played the festival, and talked about it being their fifth time playing the festival. The band then had the crowd chant "Rock am Ring!". During the bridge of the song, Rob performed a drum solo before the band sang a refrain from 'The Catalyst'. Chester thanked MLK, the German promoter, for all of the successful show that Linkin Park has in Germany over the years. He hugged Andre Lieberberg, the son of Marek Lieberberg, during the song. This was all done because it was the last show at Nürburgring for Rock am Ring. After the song, Chester jumped down in between the crowd and the stage and shook hands with fans at the barricade.

     

    - A day before the show, Mike sprained his ankle. He wore a bandage throughout the entire show.

    - This is the first time since 2004 Linkin Park's set at Rock am Ring was broadcasted live in full.

    - Linkin Park was the second to last headliner to ever play at Nürburgring for Rock am Ring. Metallica took the honor of being the last headliner the following day on June 8th.

    - This is the first time that 'One Step Closer' has ever been played in the second spot of the setlist. At the last show of the A Thousand Suns World Tour in Singapore in September 2011, it was played third after 'New Divide' and 'From The Inside'.

    - Mike rapped the second verse of 'Until It Breaks' over the intro to 'Waiting For The End'.

    - Mike and Chester both sang lyrics to 'Numb/Encore' over the outro of 'Numb'.

    - This is the first time that 'A Light That Never Comes' was played by the full band. The three performances before this were all with just Steve Aoki, Mike and Chester. To date, it is the only time that the full version of the song was performed live. It was dropped from the encore at the show the following day due to Chester being sick, and the Los Angeles show right after that had a shortened setlist for the same reason. In summer 2014, the band played a short version of the song for ten shows.

    - This was the first time that 'A Light That Never Comes' was performed live full band.

    - The band performed a private show for the launch of the Harman Infinity One speakers, a recently announced collaboration with Harman by the band. There was no advanced notice given to the public about the show since it was private, but some Linkin Park fans near the venue did manage to get into the show. Ironically, an LPU Meetups event was occurring down the street at the exact same time but those fans were not informed of the performance.

Brad somehow seriously injured his back between the Rock In Rio show and this show and did not show up to play until just before show time. He leaned against the stage for most of the show (which he did for most of the rest of the tour). Ironically, this was Benjamin's third show with the band. The entire incident is documented in the LPTV episode from the tour. Benjamin ended up filling in for Brad in October 2014 in Brazil for two shows due to Brad being sick. The only time Brad had missed shows prior to this period was in May 2012 for a short trip to Japan for two TV promo appearances.

The show opening fireworks, etc started at the appropriate set time but the band was delayed quite a bit, likely because this was the first show for the new touring rig with new gear, etc. There was also just a 30 minute changeover before the band; Linkin Park usually requires a little longer at festival shows.

    - Technical problems plagued the band for a second straight show, with Brad and Joe specifically having trouble during the performance.

    - Steve Aoki came out on 'A Light That Never Comes' (after watching a portion of Linkin Park's set from the side of the stage) but did not "perform" on it since he didn't have any gear set up. Before the show, Chester admitted that they didn't know Steve would be at the show until the night beforehand when they saw the festival lineup for the first time, so they didn't plan a legit collaboration with him.

    - During the bridge of 'Bleed It Out', Rob performed a drum solo before the band sang a refrain from 'The Catalyst'.

     

    - This is the first time in the band's history that they have kicked off a tour in a location that they have started a tour in before. The Living Things European Tour in May/June 2012 started at Rock In Rio Lisboa and The Hunting Party European Tour in May/June 2014 began at the festival as well. This ironically makes it two European Tours in a row that have started in Lisboa since the European Tour for fall 2012 did not end up happening. The 2008 performance at Rock In Rio didn't miss by much either, as it was just the second show of the European Tour in June 2008 after Skive Beach Party in Denmark.

    - Like the 2012 show at Rock In Rio, Linkin Park had an act performing after them. Steve Aoki performed a set after the band; in 2012 it was the Smashing Pumpkins.

The band opened the encore with a shortened version of 'Burn It Down'. The full version of 'With You' was played instead of 'Points Of Authority'. The main set was also switched around a bit.

    - A new version of 'Dirt Off Your Shoulder/Lying From You' debuted at this show. It featured the first verse of DOYS/LFY, the chorus with a Jay-Z sample, the second verse and second chorus of 'Lying From You', the bridge of 'Lying From You' with Jay-Z samples, the third chorus of LFY, and the outro of DOYS/LFY.

    - On the transition outro of 'Runaway', Mike rapped verse one of 'Wastelands'. Chester sang the first line of the bridge over the outro transition.

    - Mike's solo portion of the show featured a 'hybrid' verse of 'Wretches And Kings', the chorus of 'Remember The Name' (by Fort Minor), and a 'hybrid' verse of 'Remember The Name'. After the 'hybrid' verse of 'Remember The Name', he went into the chorus again.

    - Mike rapped the verse from 'Points Of Authority' over the extended intro of 'Until It's Gone'.

    - The sing-a-long outro for 'What I've Done' returned at this show.

    - The intro for 'Bleed It Out' was very long, as Mike had the crowd get really pumped and he had a great speech. During the bridge, Rob performed a new version of his drum solo before the band sang a refrain from 'The Catalyst'. The refrain of 'The Catalyst' was longer, as the band sung it twice acapella style.

    - After 'Bleed It Out', Chester did the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, in response to Mike, who challenged him the night before in Holmdel. His kids poured the water over him. He challenged Jared Leto, the rest of 30 Seconds To Mars, and AFI to do the challenge.
