- The Linkin Park stage was already set up with fans in the crowd before this show was cancelled.

- There were three announcements on the cancellation of this show. First, Linkin Park posted an announcement on the band's website that read, "We have been forced to cancel tonight's concert at the Hultsfred Festival in Sweden and tomorrow night's show at the Greenfields Festival in Interlaken, Switzerland as guitarist Brad Delson is ill and under doctor's orders to rest for a few days. We sincerely regret this unavoidable cancellation and apologize to fans for any disappointment caused." Next, Mike updated his blog to say, "to all the swedish fans: we are extremely sorry about the cancellation of the show tonight. we all sincerely wanted to come and play for you, but our boy brad is sick. this afternoon, the doctor ordered that brad not travel, so the show became an impossibility. we were obviously very disappointed and frustrated. we rarely cancel, and i know this is the second time we've had to cancel playing there. the band feels very bad about this uncontrollable situation, and hope to make it up to you as soon as we canâ€¦", and finally the band released a statement to Swedish press saying, "We are immensely disappointed and frustrated to be unable to play for you at Hultsfred today. We were so looking forward to entertaining and experiencing the crowd at your amazing festival but illness means it is totally impossible. We hope to make it up to all our Swedish fans as soon as we can."

- Linkin Park played a shortened setlist. Dropped songs from this set were 'Don't Stay', 'Valentine's Day', and 'In Pieces'. 'Pushing Me Away' was played in it's piano form instead of the regular album version.

- 'Breaking The Habit' was played as a keyboard-and-vocal only performance, like 'Pushing Me Away', for the first time ever. It featured the piano intro. This is also the first time that 'Breaking The Habit' has ever opened the setlist.

- Only Mike and Chester appeared on stage until 'What I've Done'.

- The first verse of 'Hands Held High' acapella was done over a keyboard piece and led into the 'What I've Done' album transition from 'Shadow Of The Day'.

- Mike rapped verse one of 'Petrified' over the intro of 'Points Of Authority' and verse one of 'There They Go' over the outro.

- A Canadian flag was put on Mike's keyboard before 'Leave Out All The Rest'.

- 'Crawling' was performed without an extended 'Krwlng' intro.

- Halfway through 'A Place For My Head', the lights went out. The band played the rest of the song in darkness. The lights came back on right near the end of 'One Step Closer'.

- This was the first time a full piano version of 'Breaking The Habit' had been performed live.
Other Notes:
- The band was still stuck on the runaway at the airport as of 8:00pm, trying to clear customs. They weighed several options, which included taking a helicopter to the show. They arrived at seperate times to the show. At the Meet and Greet later on, Phoenix abruptly said to a fan that "Mike has just arrived". The only two band members that were at the LPU M&G were Phoenix and Chester.

- Scott from Stone Temple Pilots asked during the Stone Temple Pilots set where "his friend Chester" was. He was inviting him to come on stage and sing, like Chester did in 2001 with the band, but Chester was busy doing the Meet and Greet at the time.

For whatever reason, 'Cure For The Itch' was not played and instead, there was just one encore of 'What I've Done' (with no intro), 'We Made It', and 'Bleed It Out'. 'Bleed It Out' did not have Rob's drum solo before the song.

- Event staff rushed to lay down sand bags around the stage to protect wiring from flooding due to a freak thunderstorm that started during the show. Those with lawn seating were drenched.

- However, the performance was advertised on New York City-area radio stations and was invitation-only for 200 radio contest winners along with industry friends and professionals. Billed as playing at 11:55pm, the band took the stage after midnight. The show was recorded for an iTunes release in March.

- After the Staples Center show in March 2008, Mike posted on his blog, "next, the iTunes SoHo performance. in case you haven’t heard, we played a secret show at the SoHo apple store in NY. it was awesome…the tracks are now available for purchase on iTunes. go check them out!"

Other Notes:
- This was a "secret show", and was by invitation only from the LPU. Only fourteen fans were chosen to attend. They were blindfolded and taken from Warner Bros HQ in Hollywood to Third Encore, the location of the band's rehearsal spot. Mike said that this was the first time ever that any fans had ever been let into the band's rehearsal studio.

- 'Fell On Black Days' by Soundgarden was listed last on a draft of the setlist, between 'Leave Out All The Rest' and 'We Made It'. It was going to be performed by Chester and Chris Cornell but it did not happen for an unknown reason. When Projekt Revolution 2008 started, Chester actually joined Chris for 'Hunger Strike' instead.

- It was announced after the performance that Busta Rhymes would join Linkin Park on the Projekt Revolution Tour.

- After the performance, the band handed out setlists to fans. The "Set X" setlist (played at the first show of the European Tour in Denmark) had 'No Roads Left' in the first encore spot with 'What I've Done' and 'Faint'. These May 2008 rehearsals were when the song was practiced and was going to be in the set, but the band decided against it and replaced it with 'Pushing Me Away' (Piano Version). According to the band's crew, the song was later considered to be an alternate for 'We Made It' on Projekt Revolution 2008, but it never ended up being played. In a LPU chat in 2009, Rob said, "Not sure if we will play No Roads Left live, we did try it out and didn’t love the way it came across live." In another LPU chat in June 2011, Mike said, "We played it in practice once or twice and it doesn't really sound good."

- Mike rapped verse one of 'Petrified' over the intro of 'Points Of Authority' and verse one of 'There They Go' over the outro.

- Jay-Z joined the band for 'Numb/Encore' and 'Jigga What/Faint'. Both versions were the same as the Madison Square Garden show in New York City earlier in the year.

- Mike rapped the first verse of 'Hands Held High' acapella after 'Lying From You'. This wasn't planned, as Mike explained to Rolling Stone: "We had put that song in the set and took it out because the chorus has 10 voices singing on it, and live it just never sounded right. But during the Milton Keynes show, there was a fan in front of the crowd who had a sign that said "Play 'Hands Held High.' " Halfway through, I thought, we can't play the song because we aren't prepared but I can give him the first half. So I just threw the verse in a cappella. In fact, we added that verse to the set, so that kid's sign essentially changed the set for the rest of the year. It was really cool."

- The band switched things up a bit for this show, moving 'From The Inside' up after 'One Step Closer', and moving 'Lying From You' down after 'Given Up'. 'Reading My Eyes' was also dropped.

- Chester mentioned that this was the biggest Projekt Revolution show to date.
Other Notes:
- There were a number of problems with the the video screen behind the band. The problems persisted with the video during 'What I've Done' messing up, as well as an orange Linkin Park logo appearing out of place during the following song. The screen incorrectly displayed the backdrop for 'Faint' on 'Numb/Encore'.

- A few fans in the front started cheering for the band to play 'No Roads Left', which prompted Mike to shake his head.

- Consistent with the past, there was quite a lot of confusion surrounding the details for the LPU Meet and Greet, which of course resulted in some fans missing it.

- Rob had problems with his ride cymbal after 'Given Up'.

- The show was supposed to be broadcasted live on various MTV channels in Europe. It was dropped off the schedule at the last minute most likely due to the release of the live CD/DVD from this show 'Road To Revolution'.

- HIM was originally on the lineup but later dropped out.

- On October 6, 2008, the band's official website held a contest for anyone 18 years of age or older to submit a name for the CD/DVD. On October 8, five final choices were made into a poll allowing fans to vote for their favorite. The final choices were: "Linkin Park: Midnight In Milton Keynes", "Sunset Revolution: Linkin Park Live In The UK", "Road To Revolution: Linkin Park Live", "Revolution In The Iron City: Linkin Park Live", "Revolution in the UK: Linkin Park Live". On October 13, the website was modified to fit the winning title which was announced as "Road to Revolution", along with the tracklisting.

- 'What I've Done' from the CD/DVD was nominated for a Grammy for "Best Hard Rock Performance" at the 52nd annual Grammy Awards.

- 'Somewhere I Belong' and 'Papercut' were released in 2013 as bonus tracks for the new Meteora deluxe edition on iTunes.

The sound at the arena was way to high, at few times i just wondered if i will end up having a pile of distorted shit. Ended up quite well, despite of being caught by the security, had to give them my minidv cassette so i could save the cam instead and not being thrown out from the gig...Unfortunately for the ducks, they haven't seen my other gear and the mic."

- On October 7, 2008, the band posted the following statement on linkinpark.com: "Linkin Park has been forced to cancel their upcoming Music For Relief Concerts in Mainland China, Macau and Taipei as lead vocalist Chester Bennington has sustained a back injury and is under doctor's orders to refrain from traveling or any physical activities. Linkin Park sincerely regrets this unavoidable cancellation and apologizes to fans for any disappointment caused. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.

The concerts were organized as fundraisers to benefit Sichuan, an area ravaged by a devastating earthquake this past May. However, thanks to generous donations from concert promoter Emma Ticketmaster and Linkin Park, funds will still be contributed to the band's nonprofit organization, Music for Relief, and matched by the World Bank. These funds will benefit post-earthquake reconstruction projects in the Sichuan Province initiated by Chinese Civil Society Organizations.

The cancelled shows are as follows:

Oct. 12 - Shanghai, China - Shanghai Stadium

Oct. 15 - Wuhan, China - Xinhua Stadium

Oct. 17 - Taipei, Taiwan - Taipei Soccer Stadium

Oct. 19 - Beijing, China - Beijing Workers Stadium

- This show was made up at the same venue on August 15, 2009.

- The opening band for this show, Mayday, was scheduled to be a "co-headliner" with a 90 minute set, the same length as Linkin Park. Mayday was also playing the Beijing show with the band.
