  1. Because Sound Matters None of the Linkin Park albums were ever released with 192/24 quality. And I think those vinyls will be the very first ones to which the 192/24 masters were used.

  3. Small update on the site: - corrected the release date of Not Alone single from January, 2010, to October 21, 2011 - after talking about it with someone on discord, it wasn't available on iTunes on the same date as the Download To Donate compilation, it was actually released a year later on digital stores. Also, added some other links to notes. - changed status of Reanimation's interactive booklet to "available" since it is included on the Reanimation's bonus edition on Qobuz. But i think that anyone who will decide to purchase it, it would have less than 1% chances to open it, even with having the correct versions of iTunes and quicktime.
  4. Added: As one person described that on LP's discord.
  5. This green vs standard. Green is from Indonesia version.
  6. I'm interesting if THP will really gets the POA. That would be something really exclusive in it. The green THP looks sick.
  7. So all purchased files from iTunes have the original album id from which they were purchased. I checked the id in the "Crawl Back In (Live).m4a" file and I found this. Next I tried to search that album via web archive by adding the id of it at the end of the link just like links to the albums on iTunes have and i found it. So this is the 14-track edition that originally had the 14 pre-order only track Crawl Back In (Live). unfortunately I haven't found the same link archived in the time when the album was still in the pre-order. It was only archived after the album was released so the CBI (Live) track is not present in the tracklist. Also, there was 13-track version also with booklet which was archived the same day as the 14-track version and it is still available till this day on iTunes, Qobuz and other stores. I have re-check the iTunes database, Qobuz and confirmed that the 13-track edition matches with this identifier: 093624971528 - which if you check it here - there is a confirmation that it never had more than 13 tracks. Also, here is the extracted page with the tracklist from the booklet pdf that was downloaded from that edition before the 2019 (you can see 13 tracks there). Now why I'm showing this? Because yesterday i downloaded the booklet from that same 13 track edition (same identifier: 093624971528) from one of the digital stores and the booklet is the 2019 updated one with new Warner Records logo etc. but it seems they choose the wrong booklet not from this edition, the tracklist lists 14 tracks instead of 13: https://i.ibb.co/zfz4D5Z/OOA-Booklet-pdf.jpg - EDIT: also I have noticed that in the bottom right corner there is a word "Unauthor" which is not present in any other booklets. Besides the new Warner logo the booklet has also a small differences in contrast and colors. You can notice that in the 2009 booklet the colors are more red while in the 2019 updated version the colors are more orange than red. Site's update: - added web archive link to it. - added info about the updated booklet in 2019. ---------------------- EDIT: 12.06 The site was updated. - the plan9music.com service is no longer selling music in digital format, the releases that were available only in that service were marked as not available anymore (8 releases were effected) and the links to all of them were replaced with the ones archived by web.archive.org; - new blue icon as the link, it means that there is a link to the release that doesn't work anymore and it wasn't archived by any site. Plus some other minor changes on some ATS releases/export to TXT file info corrections and few others.
  8. Plot twist - the LPU vinyl is available again.
  9. Yay, update of another MTM edition: - the release was set as streaming only - booklet was added - link to Qobuz was added - notes are totally re-written NRL track is not available at all. The release have just name "Minutes To Midnight" without any extended name with the "()" after it but I decided to keep the extended name on the site. There are currently 10 different editions of MTM (with different tracklist) available out there including this one. You can tell that some of them isn't supposed to be still available but I guess that if you are big label with a lot of artists on your back and have that amount of editions of just one album then it can be hard to manage it. Also, I added to both lists a standard version with 12-tracks and booklet. Found it on iTunes, it was available in few countries, found no any identifier for it. There were always a two versions of the standard edition, one with booklet and another one without it. i think the one without the booklet on iTunes had the same barcode as the one we know (this one: 093624447764) and the version with it had to have different barcode just like it had a different album id on iTunes.
  10. If the back cover says "Made in Germany" it will contain the single version of LOATR. https://lpcatalog.com/item/2024_papercuts/cd/0093624846017_de
  11. I like Tommee Profitt for his other stuff like ITE remix cover or song I'm Not Afraid. Both are awesome, you should definitely check those.

Well, shit happens. Marked on the site as not available anymore. Update of the "Mikeshinoda.com Exclusives (Playlist)" - added small icon next to the last track with the info, when this track was added to the playlist. Added the missing identifier for those two music videos. Update of the release date and notes on the site. Also, the correct mix/master credits for the song are: Neal Avron - mix, Brian "Big Bass" Gardner - master. It was removed from all digital platforms. Marked on the site as not available anymore. Last but not least - the releases have now the catalog numbers when info is exported to txt file.
  13. Added the info about it to the main post.
  14. Yes. I collect every detail about each digital release here. It's the one with the barcode: 093624949312.
  15. This one: https://www.qobuz.com/us-en/album/a-thousand-suns-edition-studio-masters-linkin-park/0093624949312
  16. Yes at least the Papercuts CD has it.
  17. Except What I've Done single version. It has an album version again but modified. I don't know why is that? They can't find the single version of it? I have the CD single of WID I can send it to them. I would love to have the single version of it on streaming platforms in the WID digital single. Yes. Just want to point out how easily sometimes they can make a single version of the album song. Here's an example: Leave Out All The Rest - they didn't even have to mastered it again, all they did, they took already mastered album version and cut the outro to BIO and that's all. The same they did for the new Papercuts edition, they took 24-bit 2012 master (yes it's the 2012 remastered version, also Justin Smith is credited as a masterer) and they just edit it and remove the outro for BIO, without mixing it or remastering it. Yes. The 2012 version is available in all of those releases: Besides the deluxe editions (which are available only on iTunes) all other are available on various digital platforms. If you are looking for any specific platform, I can help to find it. It might be the last time to legally get it because they will be fixing it soon in those releases too.
  18. No, the Papercuts CD have the album version of it. I think they never did the proper single version of it, they just edited the album version and just fade out it at the end. Here's the screen with comparsion of the ending: https://i.ibb.co/Fq4bPcP/345658.png
  19. So yesterday the new version of Papercuts was released. It can be found here: Spotify, Qobuz, iTunes/Apple Music, Juno. Here are the info about the differences comparing the previous digital version of it: 01.Crawling (03:29) - album version, no changes comparing the previous digital version 02.Faint (02:42) - it's now the single version 03.Numb/Encore [Explicit] (03:26) - no changes comparing the previous digital version 04.Papercut (03:06) - it's now the single version 05.Breaking The Habit (03:17) - it's now the single version 06.In The End (03:36) - album version, no changes comparing the previous digital version 07.Bleed It Out [Explicit] (02:44) - album version, no changes comparing the previous digital version 08.Somewhere I Belong (03:34) - album version, no changes comparing the previous digital version 09.Waiting For The End (03:51) - fixed with 2010 version - additionally it contains small fade out at the end, right before the transition to Blackout, after the fade out the rest of the track (400-500 milliseconds) was cut - new quality: 24-bit/44.1kHz So this will be the first version of the 2010 version of the song not having transition to Blackout, which is currently exclusive to this new Papercuts digital album. 10.Castle Of Glass (03:25) - album version, no changes comparing the previous digital version 11.One More Light (04:15) - album version, no changes comparing the previous digital version 12.Burn It Down (03:50) - album version, no changes comparing the previous digital version 13.What I’ve Done (03:27) - really weird edit, small portion of the SOTD ending was added to WID intro and fade in - it contains almost 1 sec of silence at beginning Maybe they didn't have the single version in Hi-Res and that's why they did it this way? 14.QWERTY (03:21) - no changes comparing the previous digital version 15.One Step Closer (02:35) - album version, no changes comparing the previous digital version 16.New Divide (04:29) - no changes comparing the previous digital version 17.Leave Out All the Rest (03:19) - the transition to BIO was removed. 18.Lost (03:16) - no changes comparing the previous digital version 19.Numb (03:06) - album version, no changes comparing the previous digital version

Now they have Justin Smith as a masterer. All of those bonus tracks were registered a lot later than the standard editions. It means that the idea of adding the bonus tracks to some releases has to come after they did remastering for ATS, Meteora, HT, MTM. You can see that all of those bonus tracks were registered at the same time, the credits of POA (Crystal Method Remix) mentions Brian Gardner as mastering credits, which probably means that all above tracks were mastered in the same mastering session with Brian Gardner, so I decided to add Brian to mastering credits to all above. So that will be all. As always I did tons of little changes but I think I mentioned all the bigger changes. If I will notice that I forgot about something I will add it to this post. As for the Qobuz in Japan country - all pages with releases redirect me to qobuz.com/jp-ja/closed I'm not sure if maybe that's because Qobuz detects that I'm not in Japan and redirect the page with the album. If someone from Japan can confirm that, let me know. Also I have a question regarding the LPTV season which was available on iTunes. The season was available on iTunes as TV Show in the TV Shows section. I was thinking about the idea to create the TV Shows section on the site and move all LPTVs there. I can also add some others seasons. What do you think? Also, is "TV Shows" name would also work for other seasons that was not available on iTunes? // Some other things that I noticed: Deezer: few days ago when I have checked it, there was a complete mess, I have seen releases from all countries like TC NoBrain remix, Powerless single, 1-track Iridescent, MTM the iTunes version, MTM version that was available for pre-order bundle in 2007 and some of them are still available the MTM (iTunes) and this MTM version which base on the cover and barcodes on Deezer both should be censored version but they contains the explicit version of the tracks, the HT bonus version with interactive booklet which was not available anywhere since years and suddenly appeared on Deezer? I'm supposed to make this bonus edition with booklet available for streaming only on Deezer on the site but I'm holding with adding any of those since you can see it's totally mess on this streaming service I think some of those releases appeared on Deezer by mistake and they will soon be removed. Amazon Music: I have seen that one of the Live In Texas album with LIT cover has 12 songs but each of them were the ones from the Meteora 20 Edition and the transitions were out of place. I don't see this version anymore, don't remember in which country it was. mora.jp: since like a month this store started to sell music in standard CD quality 16-bit lossless. This includes releases: https://mora.jp/package/43000008/093624994329_L/ https://mora.jp/package/43000008/093624928966_L/ https://mora.jp/package/43000008/093624449362_L/ Qobuz: might be the best currently store if you want to buy any videos in lossless version. This is based on two videos I purchased, but I would consider this store as one of potentially selling videos in the lossless (uncompressed) version. Transitions in the Meteora album in both standard and bonus edition were fixed. SOTD and WID in some MTM editions still has some transitions problems, SOTD has fade out WID has fade in. Also, I have noticed that the 2012 masters versions of the album starting to appear in other streaming services/stores.
  21. Also, this will be released on June too with some LP music.
  22. Added to the first post: standard black vinyl, tracklists for all 3 vinyls and link where you can pre-order them.
  23. Any chances they can go with "Linkin Park with 'New singer name'" as name? Just like "Stone Temple Pilots with Chester".
  24. No THP tracks on on the album but they included a THP sticker on the Japanese version of the CD. https://i.imgur.com/hpHBRLb.jpeg
