  1. Holly Brook (now goes by Skylar Grey), who sang on Fort Minor's "Where'd You Go" was signed to Machine Shop Recordings by Brad after he heard her demo. I'm not certain of the validity of this, Wikipedia didn't have a citation. I understand the part about Machine Shop but the part aboutBrad could be wrong.
  2. I'd love to see a making of Papercut, but that will never happen. All I know is that Mike said that they sped up the song for faster filming.
  3. I'm hoping for something that was never announced, so throw out Mall OST. Kind of like how ALTNC just popped up last year. An EP would be great, I'm just hoping for something that is Linkin Park instead of a side project
  4. I've only listened to Dead By Sunrise but I'd love if Chester showed up here and they did something. It would be a nice break for Chester to do this style of music again.
  5. What was wrong with Brad at the show? He doesn't seem any more bored than ususal.
  6. I like The Summoning but it has to be with War, so as a standalone it has to go. Still sounds good by itself though.
  7. Oh that's the reason! That's pretty funny and that could be added to the show page
  8. Notes to add to the show page: False start on WID; Mike and Chester adressed the crowd before restarting. Apparently Brad messed up the first few notes on the song (hard to tell for me) Blackout samples on New Divide (I couldn't notice them) Mike didn't rap the beginning of Rakim's verse on GATS, he started around "even corporate hands is filthy"
  9. WHAT. THE. FUCK. LP. They just picked him up and had hm join, they should have gotten any other rapper to come by, you know, like RAKIM. Now I'm sure MGK was already in reach or maybe attending the show but c'mon.
  10. Interesting how they did all the collabs, but I don't see why they had waited so long to do this. Look at the shows from the Meteora tour, there were always notes on most shows like OSC w/ Sonny from POD or Wes from Puddle of Mudd, etc. they have done massive festivals since then but haven't done this with other huge artists. You know how awesome it would be to hear them bring Josh Homme of QOTSA onstage? I hope they do this again, even if it is on a lot of songs like today. As for Astat, I understand MOST of your rage after you posted more comments, I hope you dig yourself out of that pit of anger. I don't know much about MGK other than hearing a few of his songs at school, but I hate what he does to music and anyone who enjoys him. He must have been the ONLY rapper at Warped because they wanted someone to rap over BIO instead of sing. But it isn't like Kanye or Drake are at Warped (not stating my opinion on either of those). All else that is important at this point is to find videos.
  11. Apparently there is a 9 minute version on LP's facebook page, but I can't find it, anyone else seen it?
  12. I know, I was just adding examples to the special treatment that UIG has gotten
  13. I've heard UIG two or three times since it was released but that was just in the last 3 weeks. Have you only heard the shortened version of GATS, or is it with Rakim's verse? Also forgot to mention that they made a longer intro for UIG during the live shows this tour.
  14. So is this song like the band's new favorite song? Of the four lyric videos released, Wastelands, Rebellion, and Final Masquerade were pretty bland, and GATS was essentially the same but with the single cover's background. UIG, however, got a production for its lyric video alone, and now this and the live video from Milan. They should at least give some other songs some light
  15. They need to keep doing simple videos like this if they feature mostly performances, this one had a lot of energy! I just don't see why they kept the ending noises from the album version on it
  16. Their instagram has people throwing GLOW STICKS during UIG, so I'm thinking they added the wrong note for Faint
  17. Very late to say this, but i noticed that on WID, Brad added 4 extra palm muted notes before the second chorus. The song has 4 when Chester says "I've" but instead Brad started when Chester said "What" so it was 8 total palm muted hits.
  18. I totally called it after the second show with Mike changing up verses on his medley. I've only seen the video to GATS so far but I will watch more tomorrow (still hyped over hearing Final Masquerade leak). I think the solos for WID, BIO, and Mike's solo are what I will watch from every show because they all change a little at each show
  19. I knew a few of there songs before i became a big fan, and heard a lot more of them when MTM came out, but I chose 2011 because that was when I started listening to the majority of their songs
  20. First song of the 5 that I have listened to again in under 5 minutes. I really like it so far and the drums are nice on it. Organs might be prominent on this album, since they are on UIG. Just wish there was a better solo, but the "Green Day solo" that Brad does is actually kind of appropriate for this song, since it isn't meant for anything complex. I learned the song on bass on my second listen to it, and if anyone wants the chords: Cm-Eb-Cm-Eb for intro Eb-Gm-Fm-Cm for chorus I think the verse is similar to the intro, I'll have to listen to it again. Anyway, I won't rank it until I have given it a day's listen, but my current ranking of the other 4 is as follows: GATS=Wastelands>Rebellion=UIG
  21. Brad's solo on WID might be his best so far because it uses more techniques than just bending the friggin strings. It is cool seeing them all just jam on that part even with Chester jamming. Maybe Joe should scratch or add more samples? Anyway I hope they just all decide on what point they should end the solo instead of hoping they all guess the right point.
  22. I remember an interview (Chester?) saying that they wanted to do an unconventional way of promoting and releasing the album, and they have gotten that underway so far: First single released before the album was officially announced, then lead single UIG, debuting Wastelands live and with the UFC thing and THEN premiering it, and now Rebellion. After less than a week between the last two songs, I'd be more shocked if this didn't happen.
  23. Oh shit that was intense! I didn't recognize Mike's vocals until the second line, hope he has some more singing like that on the rest. The guitars sounded a lot like SOAD (given) but there wasn't any playing that was too complicated. This would be easy enough for them to play live, but I immediately imagined Chester playing a third guitar for when Mike or Joe do the synth part. From Brad's playing on In Pieces and his new soloing on WID, this shouldn't really be a challenge for him. Lyrics were really good for the first part but I didn't care for the rest. Something just sounds weird when I hear "we are the X" im any songs. But based on other lyrics that I've seen, there is another song that has Mike talking about an ocean and a flood. Hopefully more lyrics will be connected. I'm also interested in hearing about how Brad and Phoenix were involved in this song's recording since Daron did the guitar and bass. This is why we need a full documentary!
