  1. Hey uum, btw. Michael Jackson is the Co-Author of the song just so you know, he wrote it with Paul Anka and his version was a demo recorded in the 80s before Safire's version came out. Check your facts man. Can't out michael a die hard micheal fan haha
  2. Eh...that's all I have to say...eh. Speaks volumes.
  3. Eh west coast advantage plus apple being apple - it happens. Whatever. Can't wait to see the game (I got a damn samsung rant so im not playing it) but should be cool! Awesome news
  4. Hey Adam and to anyone. Isn't Fort Minor's song called "where'd YOU go?" not Where'd WE Go? which is what it says on the video/link to it! http://linkinpark.com/video/whered-we-go-fort-minor
  5. Beautiful. Much much much much better.
  6. No - that was my original problem. I had told you my net messed up and I got billed but never got to the confirmation page or any email. You replied to my support ticket and told me I was signed up under thedottenline@yahoo.com and to just to login and it will then let me make an LPU name, but i can't login and I was billed already for the plus package a month ago ha.
  7. I signed up with thedottenline@yahoo.com. But my support ticket is under realstudiolansing@yahoo.com. I pm'd you about it yesterday and I have a support ticket going, but I had replied to it a week or two ago after you gave me solution number one that to my bad luck hasnt worked.
  8. Haha whatever the exclusive IS somebody PM it to me or let me know ha I joined LPU last month and haven't been able to log into the site once.
  9. It's being directed by Harald Zwart (Who did Agent Cody Banks with Frankie Muniz and The Pink Panther 2) with Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan starring. It looks good I think, but I love the original.
  10. I was watching new movie trailers today and stumbled upon the remake of The Karate Kid. Didn't expect to hear remember the name throughout the entire second half! Really cool trailer too! http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/movie-talk-karate-kid.html
  11. I hate that they edit the shows. It is no longer the show you went to. Trivium now does live downloads, but they want to keep the raw live feel to them. So they are not mastered, just mixed slightly straight from FOH. All audio, guitars go out, vocal messups, bad harmonies, wrong lines, are there. The entire show, no edits no add ons. Thats a real live show.
  12. I saw newfound glory this year live. They did an entire BY REQUEST set list. 28 songs. Including ones off their first album. Even ones they had to relearn on stage. It was amazing. That's a live act right there. And i'm good friends with am ember of UnderOATH, they love playing old stuff for the die hards and tog et the new guys listening to the older stuff. Sure on a global LP scale it might be harder though. you have obligations, a lot of fans now a days are radio fans sad but true. They want what they've heard, nothing else. Its not like that with just straight hardcore fans. What bands need to learn, not all, but bands like LP, is that there is a balance. You want to make all fans happy as best you can? so make it 50/50? If your isck of your own song than don't play it, whos going to stop you. But still.
  13. Damn my internet. I bought the plus package, and on the last screen it said "Connection Reset" and i got no confirmation. I don't know what to do, my bank says a pending charge for the total is in preauthorization or something, and I have no confirmation page, email, nothing just a charge on my card.
  14. Music IS their career yes. But you can't just expect them to work at the same pace year after year, touring and putting out albums. And music is an artform, not just a regular job. You are not only physically drained from touring, but mentally and emotionally as well. Now let's put you into the studio with not only the pressure of putting a hit out, but also wanting to make the music real and write it the right way. It will take time and for some people it takes more time. Sure they can write another Hybrid Theory and put out another carbon copy and get millions, but artistically that won't make them feel better. If you have a 9-5 job, that's your job right? 9-5. A career. Well their career is 12-12 almost 365 days a year. Let's cut 'em some damn slack they are only human.
  15. I haven't voted yet, but guess what, I voted for Green Day way back! GASP! haha Seriously though it's been a thing for years now. With a dedicated fanbase and today's technology, its those who win. I mean LP and Paramore are both good bands in my opinion. Either that win to me is okay, but I do know that the cheating is not new and usually not something avoidable cause at least one band will do it. I've worked on enough street teams for bands/labels that I know even labels encourage street teams to do this exact thing to get a band to win. But when it boils down to it, it's just another internet poll with a title at the end of it. And ALL polls are flawed. SO just like who you like better cause that's not going to change is it? Don't bash the others for it either (and i mean both, paramore fans bashing lp fans, and vise versa).
  16. I'm going to make Brads Old Fro....
  17. The artwork and design of Out Of Ashes is by far simplistic but not lacking in great detail and subtle meanings. Was the simplistic design set out in the beginning, as this seems to be a stripped down rock record. Or was it just something that progressed naturally throughout the art production.
  18. Awesome! He mentioned the guys i'm producing/managing, Burning The Night Sky!
  19. Shut the fuck up bob! - Ari gold.
  20. Ok first thing is first. Rick Rubin or not it doesn't matter. I am a producer and engineer myself. And a band has the ultimate say in how an album sounds. A producer can suggest things, and he can guide but it's not his choice. If Linkin Park wanted something like X then they can make it like that. Rick had suggestions and helped Linkin Park guide what they wanted to do in the first place. They are all big boys and can think for themselves. Plus the only thing Rick Rubin has done really wrong is Death Magnetic, but that' sbecause the Metallica boys weren't around during the mixing process. Linkin Park have made great albums each time. Whether or not you like songs like Shadow of The day, Leave Out All The Rest or Bleed It Out, the fact remains they are good numbers. Performed great vocally and musically, and a solid recording with strong production points. They are hits. And they proved to be. Whether or not someone calls it softer, or selling out, or whatever doesn't change the fact that it is a good song. It was written from experianes most likely and therefor is a piece of art. Just as Hybrid Theory and Meteora was. But Hybrid Theory and Meteora also went with the time period. Not just the musical time period, but also the times in thier lives. They were young, angry and embarking on a quest as a band with a new sound. It's been done. And now they are trying new things and realizing that they can afford to really dive into themselves and dig as artists and expand and grow. New Divide proves that. I think no matter what people say (connect it to what I've done or whatever) it is a solid song. Great note progression, lyrics and music. And it is unique sounding. They are still Linkin Park. A Band based on breaking boundaries and making the unexpected. They don't dissapoint. (Though I do not like some songs, obviously no one is perfect.)
  21. Agreed. This is going to be awesome for everyone/anyone that can go! Should be lots of fun, and any oppertunity to see Linkin Park is a good one right?
  22. Agree. Not to be a dick but what's the point?
