The Pulse of Radio reports that LINKIN PARK has filed a lawsuit against the Lloyd's of London insurance company, alleging that the firm refused to compensate the band for a string of six shows it canceled after frontman Chester Bennington hurt his back. According to TMZ.com, the group was forced to pull out of six shows in 2008 after Bennington suffered his injury while assembling a toy for his son. But their request to claim the lost profits from the show through Lloyd's was denied by the insurance giant, which alleged that Bennington's problem was pre-existing before LINKIN PARK took out its policy. Details of the suit were not available, but LINKIN PARK is said to be suing for millions of dollars. Bennington has had to pull out of shows in the past due to throat ailments and once because he needed stomach surgery. He admitted to us that drama is often a big part of his life. "For some reason, I feel comfortable being in uncomfortable situation(s)," he said. "I don't like it, I don't like being tormented, so to speak, but for some reason, I'm drawn to — I feel more comfortable as a person being in chaos or being in a crappy situation because I'm used to that. Ever since I was really young, it's always been chaotic and always been crazy, there's always some kind of drama, and so I've just become accustomed to that." Blabbermouth | TMZ

"Inside of Me" is Dead by Sunrise's new single off their October-released "Out of Ashes". Lead singer and Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington sings about self-pity and making a change: "I feel all alone everyday / And just so far away / I know something's got to change / Inside of me". Leaning more towards emo pop than post-grunge, the song is part of the group's debut album full of riff-driven tracks as well as melodic acoustic numbers. This is a follow-up to "Let Down", a slower cadence and darker, moodier track about getting over past mistakes. To hear "Inside of Me", go to AOL Radio's New Alternative First station. Nice vocals by Chester. Not so sure about the lyrics. "Mother Maria" by Slash and Beth is a great great song. The rest of the songs are definitely not worth listening to ever again.

U.S. prosecutors on Thursday moved to dismiss drug charges against former Broadcom Corp Chief Executive Henry Nicholas III but said they would appeal a judge's dismissal of charges against Nicholas and another executive related to stock options backdating. A federal judge in Santa Ana, California last month threw out the government's criminal stock options backdating cases against Nicholas, former Chief Financial Officer William Ruehle and co-founder Henry Samueli, citing prosecutor misconduct and questions about whether crimes were committed at Broadcom. In a motion filed on Thursday, Acting U.S. Attorney George Cardona said that while the government "disagrees with the Court's findings and rulings in the (stock options) fraud case" against Nicholas, it would abandon the drug case. The government on Thursday filed notices of appeal to the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeal, seeking to reinstate the stock options backdating cases against Nicholas and Samueli. Prosecutors let stand Carney's dismissal of Ruehle's case, which came shortly before the jury was to begin deliberating. Samueli last year pleaded guilty to a related charge and had just finished testifying in Ruehle's case when Carney set aside the guilty plea and dismissed the indictment. The judge at a later hearing threw out backdating-related fraud charges against Nicholas -- who was set to go to trial this year -- and set a February 2 hearing for prosecutors to show why the drug charges should not be dismissed as tainted by prosecutor misconduct. An attorney for Nicholas had no comment on Thursday on the motion. A U.S. Attorney's Office spokesman had no further comment on the motions. The court was expected to rule on the motion to dismiss the drugs case within the next few days. http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE60710U20100108 ___________________________ New Julien-K music in the works From Ryan's Twitter: This song is going to be really good... http://twitpic.com/x5z11 Wooooooorrrrrrk... http://twitpic.com/x5yrf Work.... Also, the other members were Chris Goad (Guitar) and Jason Cekoric (Bassist). Chester and Sean haven't seen them in at least 12 years.

The main reason why "Inside Of Me" was released on "Let Down" CD is the fact that "Inside Of Me" is actually a radio-only single released at the same time with full-blown "Let Down" single. But your explanation could answer the question "Why "Inside Of Me" wasn't released as a full-blown single?". Ha.

Be sure to watch Mountain Song video from the beginning till the end. It's probably the most energetic performance by Chester ever.

Totally updated first post.

Chester also sang "I Alone" by the band called Live!

Chester just sang "Bullet With Butterfly Wings", "Mountain Song" and "I Alone" with Camp Freddy. This Camp Freddy show was dedicated to the songs of the 90s. The opening band was Corey Taylor's Junk Beer Kidnap Band. Setlist (Click on the song to watch the video): xx.
