Best performance of UIG. GATS and Wastelands sounded a little weird.

I love the first one and the last one, the second and third are nice, though. Awesome that we're finally getting Ammosick. I REALLY want the full version of White Noise!

Holy shit, 11 days between those two shows. That means, at most, there can be 6 more Germany shows between those.

There's been a lot of complaining about the simplicity and how cliché the lyrics to Until It's Gone are, so I thought I'd try and rewrite the lyrics so they seem more powerful and striking. This took me about 20 minutes to do, and at 12:40am, too, so there's probably a lot I can fix. What do you guys think?

2014.06.18 - Burbank, CA - iHeartRadio Theater
RogueSoul replied to hahninator's topic in Previous Show Discussion
Let's do this! Date: June 18, 2014 Venue: iHeartRadio Theater Event: 'The Hunting Party' Release Show Setlist: 1. Burn It Down 2. Waiting For The End (Apaches Intro w/ 'Until It Breaks' V2; Wall Of Noise Outro) 3. Wastelands (Album Version) 4. Numb (Numb/Encore Intro / Outro + Verse 1 Guitar) 5. In The End (False Start) 6. Faint (Ext. Outro) 7. Until It's Gone (Ext. Outro Transition) 8. A Light That Never Comes (Shortened (No Second Verse, Second Chorus, or Bridge)) 9. New Divide (Shortened (No First Chorus or Second Verse)) 10. What I've Done (Short Ticking Intro; Ext. Guitar Solo Bridge) 11. Bleed It Out (Ext. Intro; Ext. Ending) Show Notes: - The band played a special setlist for this show, featuring their most popular singles and new songs from 'The Hunting Party'. - Jenn Marino, radio personality for iHeartRadio, hosted the show. - This is the first time that 'Burn It Down' has ever opened a show. - Jenn Marino came up and asked a few questions after 'Waiting For The End', 'Wastelands', and 'What I've Done'. - Joe messed up the intro to 'In The End' multiple times, prompting Mike to say, "Technical difficulties!" - After 'What I've Done', Brad joked about going to the bathroom with his guitar during the next few questions. The band then went into a very 'unique' conversation about going to the bathroom. Chester claimed that Brad's guitar was actually his penis. ( - After the show, the band played a few songs that were aired later on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Other Notes: - This performance was billed as the release show for The Hunting Party. The band last did a release show for A Thousand Suns at the Best Buy Theater in New York in 2010, as Living Things did not have a release show. - To gain admission to the show, fans had to win a spot from the LPU or from SiriusXM. - Adam, the previous head of the LPU, was in attendance of the show. -
You had the perfect oppurtunity, man.

I'm pretty sure we always had double polls

2014.06.17 - Los Angeles, CA - KROQ Red Bull Sound Space

#Bennoda I ship it. -
1) KTTK, GATS, Final, ALITS 2) Final, ALITS I also realized after voting that Drawbar is amazing to listen to depending on the situation, especially when working on something or playing a game like Minecraft.
-
I wonder what they'll play for this occasion. I think we can expect The Messenger.

Awesome work, guys!

So anyone hear anything about what's coming up in Europe? Added the potential Stuttgart date. I'm thinking Europe in October and South America and North America in November, December, January or February. EDIT: Also added possibly Vans Warped Tour date.
-
Is it just me, or is the beginning of The Catalyst/The Requiem from 1stp Klosr? The ambient noise sounds like its from that song.
-
As Colony said, I felt it as more of a tribute. It's almost similar to ATS (i.e. Fallout, The Requiem)

http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=10971 It's the third subforum down, the "Download/Requests & Media" forums! EDIT: I just listened to the Hybrid Theory portion of the show, holy crap the band is on fire. They really have to keep some of these older songs in the set. PMA is the only song ever where Brad actually seems excited to be performing. By Myself and APFMH exploded, and Forgotten was also great. By the way, should we add "Short Scratch Intro" to Forgotten?
-
For the shownotes, you can add this: - After "Points Of Authority", Mike talked about meeting Oli Skyes from Bring Me The Horizon and how Linkin Park was the first show he ever saw when they were playing Hybrid Theory in the UK, and it inspired him to learn music and be in a band one day. He then talked about how it hit him how they were in his shoes once upon a time. Mike gave a shoutout to "whoever's going to be the next Bring Me The Horizon, the next Fall Out Boy, the next Linkin Park, wherever you are, we love you." - Mike rerecorded some of the vocal samples for "Cure For The Itch". - This was the first time the studio version of "Cure For The Itch" has been played in its entirety.
