The Carnivores Tour is officially under way! Linkin Park, Thirty Seconds To Mars, and AFI are playing yet another show in Florida, this time in Tampa. This will be Linkin Park's 7th time performing in Tampa (previously in 2001, twice in 2004, 2007, 2008, and 2011), and the band's first time playing this venue. The venue is primarily a sports venue, known for being the spring training home for the New York Yankees. The venue has an 11,000 capacity (to be exact, it's 11,026, but who's counting?). Another interesting piece of information is that this is the first time the venue is being used as a concert venue in 18 years (the last being in 1996)! Awesome! The tour got off to a somewhat uneasy start yesterday. The band's set yesterday in West Palm Beach was delayed over 40 minutes, causing them to play a abbreviated setlist, sticking to the new songs, namely 'Rebellion' and 'Final Masquerade', and their biggest singles, such as 'One Step Closer' and 'Burn It Down'. The cause of the hefty delay is unknown, but Chester came out during the encore break to say it was for a good reason he couldn't share. It is also known that Chester had sustained a back injury by the end of the show. Hopefully this won't affect the performances on the tour! However, if he or any of the band members need a rest due to injury or exhaustion, I'm sure we'll all understand. Regardless of the band's off night, they still packed a punch! Check out this performance of 'Rebellion' from the show! On another good note, AFI's and Thirty Seconds To Mars' sets went well. AFI played hits such as 'Miss Murder' and 'The Leaving Song Pt. II', while Thirty Seconds To Mars brought back an old school intro (a recording of Carl Orff's 'Carmina Burana: O Fortuna') and playing some fan favorites, such as 'This Is War' and 'End Of All Days', as well as some of their biggest singles, like 'The Kill (Bury Me)' and 'Do Or Die'. The crowd reacted extremely positively to all three bands, hopefully the crowds can maintain this excitement! Assuming all goes right, the band is expected to play a full show tonight. While we can probably expect a set similar to that of the recent Private Production Rehearsal, can we look forward to different sets being rotated between shows, like we've seen on previous tours? It is known that both Mike and Chester have been said to say that the band has created a single, solid set for the tour. However, in a recent LPU Chat, Jim Digby, Linkin Park's production manager has said the band will perform three different setlists this tour. Time will tell who's right! Either way, Linkin Park already has a fairly solid setlist as is, and there's always a chance that they could change things around midtour! Who's excited for the show? Anyone going? Screw my preaching then haha. Do what you guys want That setlist would of gone great, I just feel the band has this 'formula' in mind that they want to prove to themselves that they can pull off.

Let's just respect his privacy and be supportive of what ever's going on Perhaps saying not to discuss it is going a little far, I apologize for that. Just be sure to not take things too far. Chester's injury is most likely a back injury, but let's wait until some confirmation to thoroughly discuss the matter.

I'm going to make a little bit of a PSA right now: Please do not discuss Chester's injury. We do not know where/what injury he sustained. Whatever it is, it was not what caused the show to be delayed. We have to respect their privacy and wish them the best. Whatever happened, happened. Chester was in legitimate pain and it's clear that the band was having a rough night. Discuss the setlist, the performances, etc. Just do not delve too deeply into these private matters. That is all.

I updated the thread, as I think it's somewhat of an interesting topic. Have we learned about anything else they've rehearsed?

The thing is, he could be referring to a set of songs, rather than an actual setlist, if that makes any sense. At this point, they have a big selection of stuff to play. All of Hybrid Theory has been rehearsed, I'm pretty sure they said they've played through all of THP, Somewhere I Belong is a song they can just whip out, etc. I'm convinced there will at least be some variation in the set. Why would they just drop The Catalyst / The Requiem for a new intro when that was perfectly fine? Maybe for the purpose of changing the show intro every night.

So the WY verse wasn't really a Crawling outro? It was just the acapella?

#RIPChi Didn't get into Deftones soon enough to be too attached to his playing (probably started listening to them in 2012 or 2013), but I was still crushed to hear that Chi had passed, knowing his story.

The thing is, that may have been true for 2007/2008, but look at every year after that. 2009 had almost no changes besides adding the HHH Verse mid-way through the tour and they weren't going to change their setlist in 2010 if they didn't see LPLive that one day. How I see it is that the set they have now, while it may seem all over the place, is quite complex. I'm sure production and all the instrumental-related things require a lot of changes throughout the set, and they have some new additions to the crew. I'm sure as time goes on they'll get more and more used to this setlist style and start varying things around.
