  1. Looks like I'm having duck for dinner... Session.
  2. I'll fix the UIG Intro note. I think I'll just put "Shortened" in the song notes and elaborate on it in the show notes. Fixing Runaway too. Any corrections to what ever the hell LP is doing is welcome, it's hard to word some of these things
  3. Partially. I assume they soundchecked because there was some issues with the gear, which was evident during LP's set yesterday. Chester @ M&G and THIS says "Set A", implying there will be more sets.
  4. Main post will be updated as the show goes on. Also, if you wanna discuss live, the shoutbox is the best place to do so. Comment in the thread too
  5. I was promoted to staff 3 days ago lol. All credit goes to Hahninator, AndOne, OverKill, Dmitry, -Nick-, etc.
  6. No, I might as well be though I'm the person who's updating everything (show pages, Twitter, pre-show post) while Mark & co. are gone on tour.
  7. Tonight's set starts at 10:00PM. Probably a shortened set again, but we'll likely see some additions if they aren't late again.
  8. Nobody's Listening, though I do appreciate the flute.
  9. Chester should really take a year or so off to just regain his health. I really don't want him to have to be out of the game when he still has so much promise. Tampa Update: Doors were delayed 30 minutes for a 30STM Soundcheck.
  10. Well that was somewhat different circumstances. That was a one-off show. This tour has been really well-promoted, I'm sure any cancellation on it would be rescheduled. Pretty sure Floridians would sue if that shit happened again
  11. If LP cancels I wonder if they just cancel the entire Carnivores date? I guess 30STM and/or AFI could extend their set time but... Hopefully that won't happen. However, if Chester really needs to recover then cancel. They'll return to Florida 100%
  12. The Carnivores Tour is officially under way! Linkin Park, Thirty Seconds To Mars, and AFI are playing yet another show in Florida, this time in Tampa. This will be Linkin Park's 7th time performing in Tampa (previously in 2001, twice in 2004, 2007, 2008, and 2011), and the band's first time playing this venue. The venue is primarily a sports venue, known for being the spring training home for the New York Yankees. The venue has an 11,000 capacity (to be exact, it's 11,026, but who's counting?). Another interesting piece of information is that this is the first time the venue is being used as a concert venue in 18 years (the last being in 1996)! Awesome! The tour got off to a somewhat uneasy start yesterday. The band's set yesterday in West Palm Beach was delayed over 40 minutes, causing them to play a abbreviated setlist, sticking to the new songs, namely 'Rebellion' and 'Final Masquerade', and their biggest singles, such as 'One Step Closer' and 'Burn It Down'. The cause of the hefty delay is unknown, but Chester came out during the encore break to say it was for a good reason he couldn't share. It is also known that Chester had sustained a back injury by the end of the show. Hopefully this won't affect the performances on the tour! However, if he or any of the band members need a rest due to injury or exhaustion, I'm sure we'll all understand. Regardless of the band's off night, they still packed a punch! Check out this performance of 'Rebellion' from the show! On another good note, AFI's and Thirty Seconds To Mars' sets went well. AFI played hits such as 'Miss Murder' and 'The Leaving Song Pt. II', while Thirty Seconds To Mars brought back an old school intro (a recording of Carl Orff's 'Carmina Burana: O Fortuna') and playing some fan favorites, such as 'This Is War' and 'End Of All Days', as well as some of their biggest singles, like 'The Kill (Bury Me)' and 'Do Or Die'. The crowd reacted extremely positively to all three bands, hopefully the crowds can maintain this excitement! Assuming all goes right, the band is expected to play a full show tonight. While we can probably expect a set similar to that of the recent Private Production Rehearsal, can we look forward to different sets being rotated between shows, like we've seen on previous tours? It is known that both Mike and Chester have been said to say that the band has created a single, solid set for the tour. However, in a recent LPU Chat, Jim Digby, Linkin Park's production manager has said the band will perform three different setlists this tour. Time will tell who's right! Either way, Linkin Park already has a fairly solid setlist as is, and there's always a chance that they could change things around midtour! Who's excited for the show? Anyone going? Stop by the Music For Relief booth to say hi to the LPLive Crew if you're heading to the show! Rakim is still nearby playing his own show later in the night, there's still a chance he'll pop on by and rap his verse on the bridge of 'Guilty All The Same', or even do his own thing during LP's set! Whatever happens, the show will be great! Check out the rest of Linkin Park's 2014 touring schedule here. Show Page Notes Date: August 9, 2014 Location: Tampa, FL Venue: George M. Chester continued singing during the bridge, singing "Never say goodbye!" instead of stopping. - 'Castle Of Glass' (labeled the "Experience Version") was performed as a mashup of the album version with Mike's Recharged remix. Only the intro/first verse came from the album version before it went into the remix portion of the song. - Joe's solo portion of the show featured parts of 'Wretches And Kings', the 'Victimized' M. Shinoda remix from Recharged, 'Session', 'Buy Myself' (Marilyn Manson Remix), 'Cure For the Itch', and 'Plc.4 Mie Haed' from Reanimation. - Mike's solo portion of the show featured the first verse of 'Wretches And Kings', a sped up chorus of 'Remember The Name' (by Fort Minor), and verse 1 of 'When They Come For Me'. The instrumental of the medley incorporated part of 'Wretches And Kings', part of the 'Skin To Bone' remix, part of 'Remember The Name', and part of 'In My Remains'. - On 'Numb', Mike changed a lyric in the 'Numb/Encore' intro from "Brooklyn boys" to "L.A. boys". - 'Crawling' was performed at a faster tempo than the studio version. - Mike rapped the first verse of 'With You' over an instrumental of 'Until It's Gone. - During the bridge of 'Bleed It Out', Rob performed a drum solo before the band sang a refrain from 'The Catalyst'. Other Notes: - This was the first concert held at the venue in 18 years. The last time a musical event occurred there was when Sting & Natalie Merchant performed there in 1996. - Doors were delayed half an hour so 30 Seconds To Mars could do a quick soundcheck. - The band went over the curfew (11:00PM) to perform the encore. Thanks, guys!
  13. Screw my preaching then haha. Do what you guys want That setlist would of gone great, I just feel the band has this 'formula' in mind that they want to prove to themselves that they can pull off.
  14. Let's just respect his privacy and be supportive of what ever's going on Perhaps saying not to discuss it is going a little far, I apologize for that. Just be sure to not take things too far. Chester's injury is most likely a back injury, but let's wait until some confirmation to thoroughly discuss the matter.
  15. I'm going to make a little bit of a PSA right now: Please do not discuss Chester's injury. We do not know where/what injury he sustained. Whatever it is, it was not what caused the show to be delayed. We have to respect their privacy and wish them the best. Whatever happened, happened. Chester was in legitimate pain and it's clear that the band was having a rough night. Discuss the setlist, the performances, etc. Just do not delve too deeply into these private matters. That is all.
  16. The show is FINALLY starting. We're 100% looking at a shortened setlist.
  17. Unfortunately not, we'll get that information soon though. They 100% played Miss Murder.
  18. http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/thirty-seconds-to-mars/2014/cruzan-amphitheatre-west-palm-beach-fl-4bce879a.html Shitty setlist, since it's literally the same thing I saw back in September Actually, it's worse...
  19. I love that he used the JaredHuggin'Leto meme at the end there Now we know why he's wearing glasses! Damn pink eye He should do this every tour, he has the right personality for vlogging. He questions everything (i.e. the word 'vlog')
