Bristow, Virginia is the next stop on the Carnivores Tour! Linkin Park, Thirty Seconds To Mars, and AFI are making their fourth stop on tour at Jiffy Lube Live, a venue that the band is no stranger to! The band has played in Bristow 6 times (in 2001, 2004, 2007, 2008, and twice in 2012, the first of which was the Private Production Rehearsal for the Honda Civic Tour), all of which were at Jiffy Lube Live (the venue underwent a name change in 2010; originally, the venue's name was the Nissan Pavalion at Stone Ridge). The band has a positive history with playing Bristow: in 2008, Chris Cornell joined the band for 'Crawling', and 'What I've Done' featured the AMBO Intro for the last time in that set (Set Z). In 2012, the band rehearsed two sets (Set C and Set A) at their rehearsal, and played Set C the next day, opening their show with 'With You' for the first time since 2001, as well as debuting 'Lost In The Echo', 'In My Remains', and 'Victimized (w/ QWERTY)'! Check out the band performing 'With You' with its Game Of Thrones Intro to open the show back in Bristow 2012: Speaking of 'With You', the band performed it in full for the first time on The Hunting Party Tour (excluding the Download Festival, which the Hybrid Theory performance was recently released for download. Ironic, huh?) with the debut of the new Set B! The setlist featured A BUNCH of new changes, including the aforementioned 'With You', the tour debuts for both 'Lying From You' (which was performed with a new intro, bridge, and outro featuring 'Dirt Off Your Shoulder' by Jay-Z) and 'Somewhere I Belong', a shortened version of 'Burn It Down' was moved to the encore, and Mike rapped the second verse of the Fort Minor song, 'Remember The Name' for the first time over his medley. The only thing we're missing is 'A Place For My Head', which is the most requested song to be played by the band on the Carnivores Tour, according to our new 2014 Live Poll. 'No More Sorrow' and 'By Myself' are trailing not too far behind, too. Mike has said they have two setlists prepared, but he never dismissed the possibility of a third, though chances are grim. Hopefully a Set C will debut with even more songs! #MakeaSetC! On the other side of the Carnivores Tour, AFI and Thirty Seconds To Mars are still bringing the love! AFI presumably played the same nine song setlist they've been performing, which is packed with a bunch of fan favorites. Thirty Seconds To Mars opened their set with their huge single, 'Up In The Air' again, however they dropped their opening sequence, Carl Orff's 'Carmina Burana: O Fortuna'. Jared Leto also brought up a bunch of fans from the crowd during their last song, 'Closer To The Edge', as per usual. If the band is following their normal beginning-of-the-tour pattern, we should be seeing the new Set B again at this show. However, the band may surprise us. For one, Mike did make a mistake during the show: during the encore, he was supposed to rap his verse on 'Points Of Authority', but rapped the first verse of 'With You' like he did in Set A. We'll likely see him correct that, and who knows what he'll do over his medley? He's now started incorporating Fort Minor tracks as his third verse, with 'Remember The Name' being rapped at the previous show in Charlotte. Mike did a similar type of thing back in 2007, 2008, and 2009 where he rapped various verses over the extended intro and outro for 'Points Of Authority'. There are now a bunch of possibilities: Fort Minor songs such as 'Spraypaint & Inkpens', 'In Stereo', and 'Petrified', or older Linkin Park songs like 'Reading My Eyes', 'High Voltage', and 'Nobody's Listening' would all work. Joe Hahn's movie, "MALL", will be released on October 17! Who's excited? The movie follows the story of five disaffected characters who meet at a shopping mall, amidst a shooting spree. It also features new music from Linkin Park, one song can be heard in the trailer, and three others can be heard here.

They do that with Up In The Air now, or whatever song they close with. In Tampa they did it on Closer To The Edge.

After a short two-day break, the Carnivores Tour is back on the road! Linkin Park, Thirty Seconds To Mars, and AFI are heading to Charlotte, North Carolina for the third stop on the tour. Linkin Park is no stranger to the city, as this is their 6th time performing here! Previously they've performed in Charlotte in 2001 twice (1, 2), 2004, 2007, and 2008. Since the band hasn't performed there since 2008 (during which they were touring in support of their third album, Minutes To Midnight), NC fans are finally going to get a taste of songs from A Thousand Suns, Living Things, and, of course, The Hunting Party. As far as the venue goes, the band has been performing there ever since their first show here in 2001, though the venue underwent a name change from the "Verizon Wireless Amphitheater" to the "PNC Music Pavilion". Previously, on the last show in Tampa on the 9th, the band performed the full version of Set A for the first time in public, after rehearsing it during the Private Production Rehearsal on the 6th and performing an abridged version of it on the 8th in West Palm Beach, due to time constraints. The set features fan favorites such as 'Papercut' and 'Points Of Authority', new tracks from The Hunting Party such as 'Final Masquerade' and 'Wastelands', and the big hits that everyone's familiar with, like 'Numb' and 'In The End'. Something interesting to note is that when Mike was rapping the first verse of 'Wastelands' over the transition outro of 'Runaway', he changed up some lines on it. Where those lines come from or what they are is a mystery to us. Here's what we've currently transcribed from his rap, where do you think it's from? You can hear him change it up at around the 5:00 marker in this video. You can also check out an epic performance of 'Rebellion' and 'Runaway', too. On the other side of the Carnivores Tour, AFI and Thirty Seconds To Mars are still killing it! Earlier in the day, 30STM did a soundcheck, presumably to test some gear out (there were a bunch of sound and gear issues at the previous show, so they were most likely addressing those), playing 'Amazing Grace', 'City Of Angels', 'Do Or Die', and 'Up In The Air'. As a result of the soundcheck, the doors were opened 30 minutes late, and all performances/events were pushed back 30 minutes, though delays were caused. AFI's set consisted of eight songs, which is one shorter than the previous night. They changed it up by closing with 'Beautiful Thieves' instead of 'Miss Murder', and dropping 'Love Like Winter'. Thirty Seconds To Mars also changed up their set (it's a miracle!) by opening up with the combo of 'Carmina Burana: O Fortuna' and 'Up In The Air', and closing their set with 'Closer To The Edge'. Looks like Linkin Park are the only ones who need to keep up with their setlists! Luckily for us, this show may be the one where they do change their setlists. During the meet and greet and Tampa, the band confirmed they will be playing multiple different setlists on the tour. Usually, the band prepares three alternate setlists for the tour. For example, on the Honda Civic Tour, the band used three different setlists: Set A, Set B, and Set C. It's been confirmed that at Tampa (and West Palm Beach, though it was abridged), the band performed US Set A, meaning what Set B and/or Set C are is still a mystery, since we literally know nothing about the other setlists. Get ready for some surprises! The band still hasn't performed songs such as 'A Place For My Head', 'By Myself', and 'A Light That Never Comes' that they performed previously on the tour. At the beginning of the tour, the band likes to perform each set twice before moving to the next set (On the Honda Civic Tour, the band did their rotation like this: CCAABB). The band opened the encore with a shortened version of 'Burn It Down'. The full version of 'With You' was played instead of 'Points Of Authority'. The main set was also switched around a bit. Other Notes: - The forecast for the day was predicted to be pouring rain all day. Luckily, between AFI's and 30 Seconds To Mars' sets, the rain stopped and clouds went away!

Here's what I hear... Have NO idea what that third new line is. Definitely a new verse. It fit pretty well, maybeit's a demo version of the song? Or as CookieMonster said, Mike could have improvised it.

You can hear the Session sample from 0:17 to 0:20, it's definitely not a 'main part' of the mashup. I'm considering just inputting it as "Mashup Intro" and put what's in it in the song notes like we do with Joe's and Mike's medleys.

Listening... Session is definitely in there. Listen to the beginning after the explosion thing. You can hear the intro of Session in that. It's organized like this: Explosion > Session Intro > 1stp Klosr Synth > Requiem "ooh" > The Summoning background > Catalyst "Lift me up, Let me go" > GATS Drums
