  1. Can someone clear this up for me, if you pre-order THP you'll receive HT Live at Download in August, what happens if I've already pre-ordered it before hand? Will I receive it or not since its a different offer than before? Is this a US only deal?

*Yes, if you preordered the album BEFORE today you WILL get this preorder, as we have confirmed with Linkin Park management. All LP.com preorders will come with the audio.
  2. Fixed a lot of stuff in the thread. I have a few more things to fix still.

I need more information here for Santiago 2010, can someone complete this information for me in Source 3 so I can add it? http://lplive.net/shows/db/2010/20101009

From the .txt file that came with it:
Source: Video - AUD (Sony DSC-W350)
    Taper: Fyzer
    Time: 63:35 mins
    Format: MP4 / 1,35 GB
Comments: This was my first recording ever, and it was also my time using that camera. Very shaky. You can hear me singing in most of the songs. I didn't have enough space in my memory cards to record the full show in the highest quality so I had to record it in the lowest quality. During the intro of "Faint" someone hit my hand, turning the camera off. During "Numb" I had to stop recording to change the memory card. The battery died during the intro of "Bleed It Out". I tried to turn the camera on again during "Fallout" but I've only been able to record a few seconds of it.

  3. Alright, I'm pretty sure that I'm going to be perpetually in the minority here, but I just cannot get into A Line in the Sand. Random heavy section with a bad transition, literally the Victimized riff with a part of GATS at the end, an unimpressive false ending...

Mike's vocals are great, and the verse he drops in the middle of the song is top-notch, but that's really all I like about the song. The actual ending is pretty great, too.

I keep trying to put together a comprehensive review of this album, but I can't muster the energy or effort to do it. This is just a really solid album all around, that's all there is to it.

    Thank you!

  4. Added samples from Collision Course.

Is it just me, or does part of the bridge of She Couldn't sound similar the main melody of Vertical Horizon's Everything You Want? Both songs are from 1999.

    Should I add this?

  5. - The song "Wake Me" by Grey Daze is actually a re-recording of an old song by Sean Dowdell And His Friends?, Sean and Chester's band before Grey Daze.

Whether there is a recording of the original version or not is unknown.

    - The album Run Joseph Run by Tasty Snax features an unlisted untitled hidden track in which you can hear Phoenix rapping.

  6. Someone can make clear what are official and where they were released?

I got Wastelands, Rebellion and Final Masquerade from linkinpark.com (I pre-ordered the album) and they came with these covers:

I don't know about the others.

The Until It's Gone single from BestBuy is different from the one we already had. It has a white cover instead of black:

  9. About the High Voltage discussion, I guess the 2000 version is a remix after all, but not by Mr. Hahn as many people think:

Mike: The "One Step Closer" Import single will feature a remix (by me) of an older hip hop track of ours called "High Voltage", along with a slower song called "My December". What's nice for me about these things is that I did the majority of the writing on those songs, and I produced and mixed both.

So they remixed a remix for Reanimation...

Thanks to Skipees for finding this interview.

  10. - On the cover of the promo CD for Cyclefly's single "No Stress" there's a quote from Chester:

"Cyclefly is one of my favourite bands and their new record is the best I've heard in a long time. If you don't like it, YOU SUCK!"

    Picture here.

    - "Karma Killer" was supposed to be released as the second single off Cyclefly's second album, Crave. A new mix of the song was made by Bill Appleberry for the single release.

The single was never released, but the new version was uploaded to Cyclefly's MySpace page.

As they started pre-production work with Don Gilmore, the producer told them he didn’t like any of their songs.

“Well, actually he liked two – Points Of Authority and With You,” says Bennington. “We basically had to write a new record in two months. We stayed at Mike’s house around the clock and wrote that album.”

  12. This clip reminded me a lot of When They Come For Me.

On the first listen I also thought the mix sounded pretty lazy.

I also think that every lyrics we got from the album so far are pretty bad.

After listening to the live version, I think it is a great song.

While the verses have that WTCFM feel along with groovy heavy guitars, the chorus remind me a lot of Sum 41's work (when Dave was still in the band), specially on the ending, after Chester starts to sing softer.

It's also very catchy. I like it.
