For a long time I thought the band had finished 15 tracks for the album Minutes To Midnight (the standart edition tracks + NRL + ATL + WWDK) until I read some coments here saying that the band actually finished 17 tracks for the album.
As far as I know, Blackbirds and Not Alone were finished after the album was released, so they don't count.
Does that mean that there are 2 unreleased (finished) tracks from the Minutes To Midnight sessions?
-
-
At the end of video the song fades, so I'm guessing that's not how the song really ends. Black Rock Shooter is a 5 min song. It wouldn't make sense remixing only 1 min of it.
Bass On The Bottom was one of two songs remixed by Mr. Hahn. I don't know the title of the other song he remixed.
-
Mike wasn't credited for Damn. See it here.
The collaboration between them was announced in 2010.
Reseda Beach was originally set to be released in 2008. (including a version of Damn which featured Michael Bublé and Holly Brook)
http://www.miamibasshistory.com/wiki/bassi...ass/lady-tigra/Not only did Tigra collaborate with Berko to make this album, but she also jumped in the studio to duet with MC Lyte and gave Mr. Hahn of Linkin Park two tracks to remix.
-
- Supercell - Black Rock Shooter (Joe Hahn Remix)
You can hear 54 seconds of the song here.
- Michael Bublé recorded a song with Mike Shinoda. Source
- Travis Barker recorded a song with Chester Bennington. Source
- Mr. Hahn remixed two tracks by Lady Tigra but only one (Bass On The Bottom) was released.
-
Styles of Beyond - Howdy Doodie (Produced by Mike Shinoda)
Styles of Beyond - Dumb it Down (Co-produced by Mike Shinoda and Apathy)
Both are tracks from the unreleased Resada Beach album.
Howdy Doody was produced by Cheapshot and Vin Skully. Source
Reseda Beach was executive produced by Mike Shinoda.
Mike Shinoda is credited for two tracks from the Medal of Honor: Warfighter score.
There's also the soundtrack of The Raid: Redemption.
-
1. Source?
2. Added, thank you.
3. about the fort minor songs i want to fount out how the versions heard and them length.
Mark is credited for the song.
According to a post made in the "Did You Know" Facts thread, during a LPU chat, Chester said Esaul was the first demo the band sent him.
I also remember of Mike mentioning somewhere there was a Xero version of Esaul. (maybe some interview)
LPU 11 booklet:
"09. Esaul (A Place For My Head Demo)
This was one of the first demos the band had ever written. When Chester joined the band, we finally put together enough money to do a proper recording of it (this one) in a "professional studio." These were the original lyrics and performance."
-
- There was a Xero version of Esaul.
- Kings Of Leon song remixed by Linkin Park:

The full version is 2:50. I think the 2:21 one is the radio edit.Lady Tigra - Bass On The Bottom (Mr. Hahn And Troublemaker Remix) (Radio Edit) Exist?Probably Not Edited Because The Full Remix Is 2:21.
This video was released. I used to have it. It was made avaliable at the director's website (I found the download link but it doesn't work anymore).Music Video: (Link Will Be Great)
Fort Minor - Believe Me (Director's Cut) Without Some Effects
I don't think they should be in this list. They were released.Fort Minor - There They Go (Clean - Green Mix) (From We Major EP Vinyl) Probably Only Acapella Muted.
Fort Minor - Nobody's Listening (Clean - Green Mix) (From We Major EP Vinyl) Probably Only Acapella Muted.

EDIT: It is important to note that there currently is no BMI entry for the demo song "Bruiser" which can only be found on the Dell OpenLabs software. Currently no fans have obtained the song....maybe we should get started!
Maybe "Bruiser" is an instrumental demo of some Living Things song. The BMI database doesn't catalog demo titles of already-released songs - There's no entry for Fear, no entry for Drum Song, etc... that's also presumably why there are only 8 new tracks on there, even though we know for a fact that there are 10 on the LPU 12 CD. If Debris was a BITS demo, it wouldn't be on there.

Also I asked him:
"One small question - did 'Kill The Flies' song had anything to do with Grey Daze?
Some people say that there was some kind of demo tape that included some Grey Daze demos (probably Commit and Come One) as well as 'Sean Dowdell and his Friends' track - Kill The Flies.
I tend to believe, that 'Kill The Flies' was only released on SDAHF 3-track tape, and was never again used with Grey Daze tracks anywhere."
People think that about Kill The Flies because it was released in the internet at the same time as Commit and Come On. Kill The Flies was actually ripped from the SDAHF tape by some Grey Daze member (Jonathan Krause if I'm not mistaken). Commit and Come On were taken from some Grey Daze rehearsal session he had recorded (there were other songs in the tape).
After Kill The Flies became avaliable online, the SDAHF tape was sold on eBay.
Waterface was the band Sean Dowdell started after Grey Daze broke up. They released one album in 2001, I believe.
According to Jodi Wendt's biography (and more recently, the LPLive Grey Daze Encounter) Grey Daze and Waterface were the same band, and Sean Dowdell was not the only Grey Daze member to play for Waterface. They released one album in 2000 called Seven Days. Two promotional singles were released from this album: "Sincerely" and "X-Ation" (both received local radio airplay). The album also included a cover of Love Song (The Cure).
It's a good album. You guys should check it out.
Jodi Wendt and Dave Sardegna are now in a band called SistamattiX.

I was searching for Linkin Park's music videos when I found this file titled "Waiting For The End (Extended Version).vob". Acording to the website where I found it, its length is 04:59 and it came from a promo DVD titled "DTVideos Extended Vol.26".
Does it really exist?

I've read in the "Did You Know?" facts that Linkin Park tried to record a song for inclusion in the Machine Shop Mixtape, which was released in 2005. Is "Divided" this song?
-
I don't know if any of you remember, but the brazilian website "lpinside" used to have an article about the Hybrid Theory songs, which included facts and lyrics meanings of each song.
Does anybody knows where I can find it? (since the website doesn't exist anymore)

I'm sort of confused about the "Monga version" of Let Down
I've just watched it, but can anyone tell me which film were the clips taken from (I'm assuming it's a film...) and why was this version made...?
I'm not sure what the song has to do with a ninja academy...
The clips are from a chinese film called "Monga".
There's an instrumental version of Let Down in its soundtrack CD.
-
I think it would be nice to add this to the post:
To promote the album, a song that was originally recorded for inclusion on We're Here With You but was later removed from the final tracklisting, "The Hunting" (mixed by Jay Baumgardner), was released for free to fans who participated in a virtual game called The Hunt.
To complete the second part of The Hunt, fans are required to get "The Hunting" scrobbled by 1,000 listeners, and 10,000 scrobbles total on Last.fm, which will unlock another unreleased non-album track "Everyone Knows".

Posted
Since Mike Shinoda was involved with the mixtape, I think we can consider this one an official remix:
David Banner vs. Linkin Park ("Like A Pimp" vs. "Papercut") - Rock Phenomenon
I think you should also add this, since it is totally different from the one released on Reanimation:
