If Vice says it was released in 2002 then it was released in 2002. Period.Yes this was 2002 Mixtape...WOW! RT
Was this a link to the full mixtape?2002 "I'm Serious" mixtape by @djvice http://bit.ly/bP84YT
Anyone downloaded it?
The person who took this picture (lperocker) lost the CD case.

A Beautiful Lie is their best album. The self-titled has some pretty good songs too but I don't think they will play anything from it.I haven't listened to enough 30 Seconds to Mars to actually make any collab hopes. Anything I should listen to?
-
Makes sense. We haven't heard anything about The Mall in a long time. Who knows if we will ever see it?I prefer to add only guests of already released material, otherwise we'll need to make a new section to all of those lol.
I think it's something we could ask about on the next chat.
-
Alec Püre of Deadsy worked with Linkin Park on The Mall soundtrack.
-
Missing Owen Pallett (Les Mouches, Enter the Haggis, Picastro) on "I'll Be Gone".
Ok, you're right. All of them already in the list since my last edit except Troy Staton, I think it's too much to add the core-staff of the albums since they are not really "guests".
-
In this case, he should list all "A Light That Never Comes" performances. When two or more band members do something together we count it as LP, like Chester and Phoenix here, and unlike Mike and Brad from the Wake Up Show (Brad is doing nothing during the freestyles).

X-Ecutioner Style[*]Black Thought (The Roots)
Remix[*]Bun B (UGK) - Roads Untraveled
I think you can't find it anywhere. You guys are great, thanks.
- The Instruments are now separate from the Remixers/Producers.
- Added a few more names.
Where can I find the strings credits for Blackbirds?
David Campbell worked on 6 songs for Minutes To Midnight ("Leave Out All the Rest", "Shadow of the Day", "Hands Held High", "The Little Things Give You Away", "No Roads Left", and "Blackbirds"). You can even hear a clip of "Blackbirds" during the Making Of.
Edit:
Both Marilyn Manson and Madonna Wayne Gacy (Marilyn Manson) are credited for keyboards on "Buy Myself".
Tim Sköld (Shotgun Messiah, KMFDM, and Marilyn Manson) co-produced "Buy Myself" with Mike Shinoda.
DJ Revolution and Troy Staton are credited for editing and mixing (respectively) "H! Vltg3".
-
He also recorded with Daddy X and Tinsley Ellis but I think he was never an official member of any of these bands.Scott Koziol (Kottonmouth Kings) - bass on One Step Closer
-
Rakim was part of a duo called "Eric B. & Rakim".
You can hear Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit repeating some lines of "Crawling" from the second day of Rock Im Park 2001.
NoBraiN also did additional production on "When They Come For Me".
Stephen Carpenter of Deftones plays guitar on "By_Myslf".
Doug Trantow was programmer, producer, and engineer on "Pts.OF.Athrty".
Roc Raida (X-Ecutioners) on "X-Ecutioner Style".
Sean C. (a DJ) produced "X-Ecutioner Style".
Greg Kurstin of The Bird and the Bee plays keyboards on "My
Michael Fitzpatrick of Fitz and The Tantrums worked with Mickey Petralia on "My
Edit:
If you want to add J. Robert Oppenheimer, Mario Savio and Martin Luther King, Jr. you would have to add Mr. Eon of The High & Mighty (for She Couldn't), the guys from Brand Nubian (for H! Vltg3), etc...
I agree with xLinkinpark0562x. We shouldn't list samples.
Edit 2:
We have 2 titles for the Does It Offend You, Yeah? remix of The Catalyst:
The Catalyst (''Bobby Bloomfield'' DIOYY? Remix)
- The Catalyst EP
The Catalyst (''Guitarmagedon'' Does It Offend You, Yeah? Remix)
- Waiting For The End single
From the first title, we can assume only Rob Bloomfield worked on the remix.
Edit 3:
Remix.[*]Rad Omen - Roads Untraveled
-
Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit)
02.06.2001 Nürnberg, Germany, Eishalle, Rock im Park
- Crawling
Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit came out at 3 points during this show: First during 'Crawling', he started pouring beer over Chester's head (causing him to laugh), and rapped/repeated a couple of Chester's lines.
-
They haven't played Death Of Seasons since 2010.Chester on Love Like Winter or even Death Of Seasons would be nice to hear, on AFI set.
They are playing Just Like Heaven (by The Cure). I was thinking it would be nice if Mike would join them to finally perform a full version of the song.
-
Davey Havok on One Step Closer again?
Maybe Victimized with both Davey and Chester screaming.
On their current tour, AFI had some guests during Kill Caustic. I would love to see Chester singing it with AFI.
Live premiere of Roads Untraveled with guest vocals from Jared Leto. I can imagine him doing this because all the "ooooooooooh" shit 30STM also have on their songs. Would be interesting.
Would be awesome if Rakim would join Linkin Park for Guilty All The Same.
I can also imagine Jade Puget doing a guitar solo or Shannon Leto playing drums during Linkin Park's set.
Also, Jared Leto could come out during the bridge of In The End to say "sing it to the sky!".
-
There's an official extended version of A Light That Never Comes which was uploaded to Steve Aoki's SoundCloud page.
-
Was already on "Crawling". But ok. Added to "Blue".Add this in the Blue section lol
The chorus melody for "Crawling" was originally the bridge of a song that sucked that we wrote. That other song we didn't like and we weren't going to use it so we had this melody. It just occured to me to take this melody that I liked and to write music around it.
Can you (or any other moderator) try to do it?Try to add it as a code.
-
Added last month.
-
Not a big fan of this... wow, first LP song I haven't loved. The chorus is lacking the ''heavy'' I thought would be there. Not a fan of the insanely long intro and I hate the fact that they would have a guest on a main album, especially on the lead single. Really let down. I guess I should have kept my expectations lower. Btw, this isn't heavy. Maybe in LP's world it is.
-
I've been listening to Linkin Park for a long time. I was one of those people who were disappointed with Minutes To Midnight (and I still think it's a really boring album). I just don't think this preview was good at all.Funny how everyone likes the soft LP stuff here. Must not have been fans back then.
-
Since we won't get DSPs anymore, will anybody be recording these shows?
-
presale 6PM EST
-
3PM at LPU.com.That's what I meant. Obviously not that much for just the ticket. It was like 4am when I saw the leak so I don't remember much, but the PACKAGES were $300-$500. Might not be the same for LP. I assume we'll find out when they go on presale.
Looks like we will get a stream from this tour.
VyRT date will be announced #soon. Be sure to check back for more detailswhich shows will you Vyrt??
The Guests List
in Everything Linkin Park
Posted
There's two BMI entries for the song. The first entry (probably created when the song was recorded) credits only Mike Shinoda, Motion Man and KutMasta Kurt. The second one (created when the song was released on LPU 4.0) credits only the Linkin Park members.
I always thought of "Standing In The Middle" as an outtake from this album.
