  3. "The only thing I don't understand is the WID Shinoda remix on LPU11....they knew we already had that. Perhaps they were rushed to replace another song at the last minute or something. I still think it was intensional, because it IS different from the original remix version we had. Oh, what's different? I didn't know that. As far as I remember, it's a bit shorter. They cut something after the second chorus or something like that. Also, the difference is the breakdown before the robotic ''I start again, and whatever pain may come, today this ends, I'm forgiving what I've done''. Compare and listen and you will see. I like the LPUX version better." Don't know where this came from.
  4. The POA demo and the WID remix were actually different from the versions we already had.
  5. Yeah, Fire In The City sounds interesting. I would also love to hear Chicken Basket. Description from Mike's blog: It’s been a busy week. Studio every day, working on new stuff. This week, I did a song where the music sounds like Santogold (or Santigold, if you like) meets Postal Service meets At The Drive In or something. Very weird…but even weirder, the vocals are crazy–I asked our engineers what they thought it sounded like, and the responses I got were things like “Peter Gabriel” and “Huey Lewis, in a really good way.” Four-part harmonies that ebb and flow with the track. I feel like I’m on drugs when I’m listening to it. It’s tentatively called “Chicken Basket.”
  6. Added full Mall tracklist.
  7. Am I the only one who thinks this might end up being the LPU 14 CD? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SESoDhfkdfI 15:32 - I can't see "The Last Line" anywhere. Edit: Nevermind. Just found this post: http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=11321&page=2&do=findComment&comment=236074
  8. Yes. These kind of releases (score) usually are in chronological order.

  10. Great information. Thanks! Edit: Can you check which one is the "donna" song (from the credits)?
  11. I agree. Rob also said 30 songs got close to being finished.
  12. I'd say it'll be like The Raid soundtrack. Score + original songs. It would make sense because of what they posted on Facebook ("Last chance to download White Noise for free").
  13. Only the score was released. There's no soundtrack CD. The soundtrack CD has only 4 tracks. WTF?

  15. I have the physical copy of Death To Digital. It was a bonus CD for the Limited Edition of Death To Analog sold by Metropolis Records back in 2009. The Death To Analog vinyl was also sold by them.
  16. http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=10406&page=2&do=findComment&comment=223151 The KTTK sample was explained by Mike on a Chideo video. I transcribed what he said here: http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=10406&do=findComment&comment=207390
  17. Brad actually said "What We Don't Know" was never finished. "Across The Line" is called a "demo" in the LPU9 tracklist. I guess the band doesn't think of it as a finished track either. About "Not Alone", Brad said "we had it on a semi-finished form" and Mike said "we just never used it because we never thought it was done". I think it's the same case of "Across The Line" and "What We Don't Know". The lyrics were re-written before it was released, but it doesn't mean it didn't have "finalized lyrics", the band just didn't like what they had and decided to re-write them. Edit: I'm not saying WWDK and ATL aren't among the "17 songs", I'm explaining why I think "Not Alone" was one of the 17.
  18. I think these are the 17 songs: 01. Wake 02. Given Up 03. Leave Out All The Rest 04. Bleed It Out 05. Shadow Of The Day 06. What I've Done 07. Hands Held High 08. No More Sorrow 09. Valentine's Day 10. In Between 11. In Pieces 12. The Little Things Give You Away 13. No Roads Left 14. Across The Line 15. Blackbirds 16. Not Alone (lyrics changed/re-recorded) 17. What We Don't Know Rob said "We ended up recording 17 total. We put 10 of those, plus an intro, on the album." "10 of those" is obviously wrong, but the "plus an intro" part makes me wonder if "Wake" is among these 17 or if they had a 18th song...
  19. I'll change my vote to When They Come For Me.
