Just government? Religion plays a massive part of it too and generally the idea of (straight) men being the centre of society, not just there but in many places. Wouldn't be an hypocrite myself saying they shouldn't play shows where human rights are being violated, because they would cancel half of the shows next year. But anyway, stay safe and have fun.

Just finished now and I honestly thought it was going to be HT 3.0, thankfully it wasn't. I had fun, quite solid. I greatly appreciate the Fuse & Joe sample references from his Tasty Gas Station vinyl as a person who when someone says 'old school LP' instead of thinking 2000-2006 I sometimes go back to 1996-1999/pre-HT release, it's funny how brains and perspectives work 🤠. I totally get why they decided to go back to basics but again, my brain played tricks on me and I got used hearing the band experiment for so many years after 2003 that for whatever reason I'm still stuck on that mindset, maybe I'm getting old or maybe cause I listen to lots of different stuff I'm used to variety over always wanting to hear one specific type of sound. Can't choose a fav for now, I need multiple listenings to make up my mind, hearing these songs live helps too (ATS became my personal favorite LP record due to also how fucking awesome the songs sounded live). Very excited for the chance of seeing them next year.

I assume this means no DL code if you get the physical Deluxe Edition or similar? 5$ for everything is a massive steal, especially compared to other digital stores who charge you more for less.

As a hardcore fan they established a gold standard 14 years ago that I personally think they haven't reached since. As casual fan I definitely like the new songs and probably the rest of the album, and if I recall Mike said a couple of years ago that the was done with experimentation but the Twitch era gives me some hope someday 😊. They're definitely not shy about using classic LP elements into these new songs, let's see how the rest of the album plays out.

What's the point of the label or band not wanting to, you know, make even more money by letting even MORE people to buy your music?

The band is looking forwards (I don't think they will do MTM20 TBH) + Jay's label letting them release the entire show would be quite difficult, so.. be pleased with this re-release.

Certain people have been accusing the band of joining a cult or something similar like that since the Collision Course days, especially when they changed the logo on MTM (triangle meaning, etc). It's nothing new. Emily joining them and having a dark past was just pure coincidence but don't expect any good logical reasoning behind a person who probably still believes Chester and Chris passed due to other circumstances and not suicide.

I'm glad everyone who attended had a great fucking time. If the tour dates are good enough for me next year I might legit fly or go to it. Amazing setlist, everyone on stage clearly had a lot of fun, Emily made me tear up (again) during Lost AND now with My December. So Emily will play Page's part?

Generally celeberity gossip means nothing to me but when these sort of serious allegations come up it's hard for me at times to care THAT much or let alone take a stance on it 100% without even thinking about it. In this case though, I can't avoid kinda caring for obvious unfortunate reasons. Anyone can make up bullshit online, regardless of which 'side' you're on, so on a serious note, I truly hope everything and everyone involved gets cleared up. About Fantano, been following him for a long time and at times he indeed takes some obvious sides (sometimes justified and others confusing).

Saw Fantano's video of her just now. I knew some details but not the entire picture (so far as we all know). Yikes. And Cedric Bixler's wife Chrissie posting a picture of Chester and Chris singing live in 2008 talking about how the Clinton's are directly related to them makes it even worse somehow, because if I do recall didn't the band had some kind of short interaction with them during the whole Haiti earthquake in 2010?

Honestly it's been a minute so my memories might betray me. I remember watching those LPTV's again not that long ago and only seeing Tom hanging out with them.

I was very underwhelmed, especially for THP and OML, not releasing any actual 'making of' full length documentary and just bits and pieces of the process. The ATS LPTV era is still my favorite because in the beginning it perfectly combined unseen footage from the DVD and then the DVD itself when it came out. Why is it so hard to put together something very special for them and for us? Not seeing Rakim or Page Hamilton at all during the THP era was very odd IMHO, let alone not showing the emotional ride that pretty much all 6 guys went through 2015-17 when making OML. I get the intimate part of it and not wanting to show everything but it still feels out of place to this day, I just find fascinating seeing raw natural reactions from artists creating anything. With all of that said, I'm excited for Mark putting out new stuff.

Nope, but I wouldn't be surprised if they released a new CD and it was all YZ demos. We've celebrated what came before for so many years at this point it would make sense to celebrate the future and I think looking backwards a bit too much didn't help for many people to deal with all of what's been happening the past 48 hours. I had no issues cause I've been listening to Mike singing for new material so many times the last 5-6 years I'm used to it.

Brad it is likely to be temporary, Rob is 100% out of the band and Mike not mentioning him at that particular moment made sense, even more after hearing him explaining why he wasn't there. We already knew (kinda) he wouldn't be too active with the band after the tribute show and that HT20 interview. I'd miss him dearly but he decided his own path. Loved the show, can't wait for Emily and Colin to get more comfortable with the band and grow with them.

Would have a very, very small chance of going if life wasn't so busy next week for me. Let's cross fingers they'll do something LPU related somewhere else.

Rob's definitely in the middle of nowhere not getting bothered by anybody, as usual. Good for him tbh. And as long as they're doing 1 or more shows again with all 5 together + possibly a collaboration, I want them to broadcast it so badly, at least one of them, because I would definitely be extremly pissed if a big ass festival can't bother or agree/allow to show a full perfomance in 2024/25.

Allegedly Warren Willis is a tech who worked with the band, right? Anyway, I'm still sad on how they completely stopped releasing shows after 2012.

Went back to listen to a lot of early DSP's from 2007. Chester sounded awesome, especially in BTH. Interesting. I do remember some instances of perfomances sounding a bit off but I like that.
