My Cologne is 87:56 and 201 MB. I bought the CD at the show and download it directly from the website back in 2008. No idea why the time on the show page is wrong, stuff like that happens I guess, but I noticed that players sometimes give you different total runtimes. I guess it depends on their math, how exact they add up the split seconds and their rounding.

There is a reason why Give Me Your Name was not played. I think Chester said something like that this is his and his wifes song, so it has a special meaning to him. He reportedly played the song at their wedding. That probably would have made it awkward for him to play it at normal shows and maybe also because it just doesn't really fit.

I spent the entire weekend fixing stuff that was broken from the last crash. I had to redo a lot of the php pages that were lost and had to recheck all the pictures and readd a lot of those, which took the most time. CB is the only section I haven't really touched yet. I'll recover the broken stuff + add a couple more pages that weren't there previously.

When you buy a movie one is expecting extras too. There were interviews they could have included, a behind the scenes or whatever. They film tons of stuff for LPTV each tour and we only get to see it chopped down a few minutes. There's tons of extra stuff they could put on the DVD's. Even music videos. As I said I'm not expecting much for a bonus DVD, but major releases like Live In Texas or RTR without any extras are a joke. RTR even had a Bluray release some time after the DVD with 0 new content. For Live in Texas it made absolutely no sense to not put the full show on the CD. It wasn't too long or anything. It's just stupid. And then they released the "missing" songs on the LPU 3.0. And of course the songs don't fit in seemlessly. Why not release the full show on the CD in one piece... The DVD is also a bit of a technical disaster. They filmed the show partially with film cameras but they release it as a 4:3 letterboxed DVD and not in anamorph? WTF!?

Ostrick seems like a professional who I guess makes a living from these thing so he has every right to sell it. He's asking for a lot of money and he seems to know that he can. He recorded this when they were an unknown band and LP is now one of the biggest bands in the world. I guess we can call him lucky, how often does that happen (so jackpot for him) and he knows for sure how valuable this stuff is now. I guess there's still room of negociation about the final price but he's the only person with it, so there's not much you can do about it. This might be one of only very few things that can be sold and are not licensed under Warner or something like that. And keep in mind he's probably only able to sell this once. Maybe it also so much because it includes the full rights? I don't know much about copyrights in the US, maybe someone knows more about this.

I'll never understand how they went from such an awesome DVD like Frat Party with tons of stuff and hidden content to Live DVD's with no bonus content. Berlin is just a bonus DVD so that's ok, I don't expect any bonus stuff there but Live in Texas already sucked at the bonus part and there was nothing different with Milton Keynes. It's like they are not even trying to make them great releases.

Yeah that this is Docklands makes it even more mysterious. It looks almost too good to be an aud source. I guess we'll never know.

nope, nothing

the clothes dont match with kroq night 1

It's definitely from a video just not from the webcast. Either another pro source or an audience recording.

We could do a kickstarter for the Ostrick stuff going. And we'd need to know for sure that he would really do it if the amount of money was reached. It can be done, it just needs the right promotion. Just look at the LPU auctions, people toss out tons of money for overpriced stuff. Unless there's a millionare amongst us, no one alone should carry the costs for this, you'll never get the money back, no matter how good it is. It has to be a community thing. Like Nick already said, this and the Xero show are on of the true holy grails. We've been really lucky with most of the cool stuff, the band/label/management kinda makes it extra hard for us since they often obtain the footage and have the only copy.

I'm pretty sure they sold these picks at the merch booth in 2010. People are just fucking stupid if they pay that much for it.

What's the total size and length of the full DVD?

The topic was originally posted in Other Bands Downloads, which is the wrong section since this is live stuff. Julien-K belongs to the related bands, the reason I stuck it in the Other Live Downloads is that this thread is for both audio AND video to avoid a split collection thread. There's not a massive amount of Julien-K live media, so one thread for everything is enough.

On This Date: 10 Years Ago - Projekt Revolution 2003

what are they supposed to say at a M&G? "No, we won't play that song. Fuck you. Go away" lol. Of course they would say something like maybe or that it's possible. I'd do the same if I was in the band. -
So that's basically your general want list? lol
-
Judging from the text it was originally intended to be something used for the music video, which we all know didn't happened in the end. The file says live so maybe it was just the live performance from that show? not a music video.

Sell it on tour? For 2 shows? I expected it to be something remix related but this is nice for the people who design stuff. I hope this goes a lot better than the contest they had for Transformers 3, where something sucky won that could have been done in 5 minutes and most of all violated the contest rules.

Rock am Ring 07 is great but I don't get how that is a holy grail. Since the band seems to aquire all this footage we'll probably never get it unless the band releases it.
-
Pictureboard is so overhyped, I guess it hardly lives up to our expectations.
-
It's really hard to say what's the ultimate holy grail right now. It was the MFR show for pretty much the last 7 years or so, lol. Many of the full shows we got like Camden or London were extreme luck. There's more stuff out there, you just have to find the right person to get it from. It always amazes me how much older stuff still comes up after all these years. I'm been trading/collecting for almost 10 years now and there's have been countless times when I thought there's nothing new to get. It's almost ridiculous how much stuff we have from the Hyrid Theory era, tons of demos and different versions of the album.
-
It feels like there is a space for that word at the end of the song. That's always something I wanted to ask at a M&G. Back then they obviously couldn't risk a Parental Adivsory. Maybe the same reason the demos didn't have it too. Even the oldest shows have the "motherfucker" at the end.
-
I'd add Dead By Sunrise Hamburg 2009 to that list. The full show was filmed. Someone from Warner said it would be released but later they just kept making up bullshit reasons why it's not happening. 2003, while we have no SBD recording of Hit The Floor, we have only one of Easier To Run and also just one for P5hng, right? I really like this thread I idea, "holy grail" is exactly the right term.

I think he said that because Geki is the request king on this board ^^
