  1. Use something like Megabus, that's pretty cheap.
  2. Shinoda could easily produce the entire thing but that seems to be something they don't want and rather have someone else producing to have a better "2nd opinion" during the whole process. Rick is more like a guide that helps rather than a "dictator". It would be interesting to see if they could even settle with someone else besides Rubin, since they are so used to "freedom". I think it's time for someone new, I'd like to see that.
  3. It's the whole experience, meeting friends again, meeting new people, it's more than just a show.
  4. 2.03 GB is the original DIME upload, I really hate when they change uploads for lp-bits.
  5. Bring a bacon platter. Honestly, I think Mike just doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about anymore these days about the old LP. He can remember all kinds of random stuff but can't get the founding year right (several times already)? Poor scalpers.
  6. The show with Metallica was in 2003, which would be only 5 years, so that's why it didn't make the list.
  7. The date is wrong. It's not the 2005 version.
  8. It's a database query.
  9. http://lplive.net/stats/lpcountriesplayed.php I can't guarantee that it's 100% accurate More can be found here: http://lplive.net/statistics.php
  10. Maybe but not that we know of.
  11. All the officially released acoustic songs are from Las Vegas 2009. I was wondering today if the Morning After Remix was actually remixed from the song that was released later on OOA or if this is a different "session" entirely? To add something to the Ethan conversation, I think he also did the Rio+Social.
  12. Paris 18.09.2001 During the Forgotten bridge, Chester mentions that he just vomited and says: "When it's a good crowd... I vomit" ... "Thank you for making me vomit. I appreciate it"
  13. Phoenix audible on an LP record? Ain't nobody got time for that. Brads guitar during the live shows in completely fine. For some reason his guitar is super drowned in the album mix of Burn It Down while on the live version you can hear it just fine, which makes the song live a lot better. Don't take the DSPs as a reference, all the songs sound perfect live. Brad doesn't seem like a solo guy, I also think he's a person who doesn't want too much attention.
  14. They shouldn't drown the guitars in the mix.
  15. This shirt says it all: http://imageshack.us/f/823/1070186.jpg/ (top left)
  16. A place to play, I assume not every country in the world has huge arenas or stadiums. They local promotors have to reach out for an arrangement, those are the people who can make stuff happen in the end.
  17. False, the September 2001 show was also a headline show.
  18. It's not that they did it every time they played there. Maybe they just didn't think about doing it. This was the first show in 5 months. Maybe it was because of the new song, or maybe they just wanted to enjoy that night. Last year was a video webcast, I think they did it mainly for the US fans because they haven't really toured there for a while.
  19. The full show is like 64 minutes long, it easily fits on one disc, that's why it's so stupid.
  20. LPU5 is the biggest piece of shit released by LP ever. The sound is completely horrible. It sounds so fake, so many fixed mistakes and the icing on the cake is the distortion the tracks have. I can't believe that they even released it that way. The mastering engineer must have been asleep. Sure the webcast quality wasn't good, but there's also the TV version. The mix is off but still better (and the complete performance) than the fake LPU5 crap. LPU3 is complete bullshit too, there was absolutely no reason to not put the whole LIT show on the CD.
  21. Maybe the cassettes with those extra tracks are fakes. There's tons of fake cassettes from asia. At least I didn't find it on http://lpcatalog.com/item/2003_meteora As far as I can tell there is no CD version with those tracks either.
  22. Howard Benson probably ate them
  23. MTV Germany and MTV Austria have exactly the same content, except the commercials.
  24. Actually MTV UK censored this. The very first broadcast from MTV Germany, that doesn't have Given Up though is uncensored, Mike says "fucking great" just before Faint.
  25. That was 9 years ago, I bet that's way too late to get any info about it. The censor reason, if it's really true, is still complete bullshit, there's no problem with sex scenes after 8 PM. The show was shown way past 11 PM which is 18+ ratings wise, they even show uncut horror movies on those channels sometimes. I think this was just a standard reply and maybe they didnt know what they were talking about. Going through the audio and clean up that laughter is something that just doesn't make sense. Even though the laughter sounds "dirty" it's still normal. I find it even more unbelievable that someone emailed them to ask for this.
