  1. A new one I guess but we never got any info about it. "A friend of" = a lot of hearsay in my book.
  2. The info was cut off, I just looked it up, it's supposed to say: Taper: A friend of "shamal" from the FMMB
  3. In what format did you upload this to youtube? it looks horrible lol. It's just 360p too. Anyhow, the picture doesn't look as sharp as the current copy BUT that one is almost too sharp making all the edges really fuzzy. If the 2nd gen copy doesn't have the dropouts in the tape it's more than a worthy upgrade.
  4. Got a reply from the Roxy I emailed a few days ago:
  5. We had this idea floating around for a while now. It's something that should be possible with the new IPB version we'll use for 5.0.
  6. Trust me, the september show is real, it really happened.
  7. I don't think they used LPLive otherwise they would have mentioned 2 roxy shows in 2000.
  8. I wouldn't take this statement to serious. I guess Pooch joined January or February. I'm sure they didn't rehearse before March so what he means are all the rehearsal performances they recorded around that time.
  9. This text seems accurate for once http://www.sunsetstripmusicfestival.com/li...k-sunset-strip/ I was suspecting it for a while but the Roxy show in August might be false. The Roxy show in September happened, there's no doubt about it. But all the info about the 8/16 show is not very solid. Some of the older sites either say Orlando or Roxy. For a very long time it was also the wrong date for the 7/24 Orlando show. A show in Arizona and a random show the next day in Florida seems veeery unlikely anyway. I just don't think they played the Roxy twice and the text just mentions the September show. This seems very accurate considering they even mention the month in the text. Maybe they played no show at all on that day.
  10. Since the band doesn't soundcheck before shows outside the summits, it was maybe just someone from the crew playing the QWERTY bass line, wasnt it one of the Australia 2010 shows?. I think POA is one of the songs they don't really need to rehearse. By Myself was in 2009 I think but no one really wants / is allowed to talk about what they rehearse for very obvious reasons.
  11. That is obviously false. These are just assumptions. We don't know that for sure that he really came out every night. Same for Xzibit.
  12. I wouldn't really call that a makeup show, it's on the other side of the globe lol. I highly doubt anyone really travels there.
  13. Has anyone ever heard the Team Sleep Remix or what's the hype all about?
  14. They played Tinfoil because they probably went trough all the sets. We know almost nothing about the rehearsals they do always at Third Encore. It wouldn't surprise me if they tried some of the other LT songs. P5hng is a veeery vague assumption.
  15. Sadly the web archive doesn't have all the dates that were on the original hybridtheory.com website.
  16. I doubt we'll ever get that from the band. The venues can't help if we don't know where they played. Some of the places might not even exist anymore. If I lived in LA I would hit up the library and check old newspapers or magazines.
  17. It does make more sense but thanks to the fuck up american date format it could be still both. But honestly it wouldn't suprise me if the cover artwork is just recreated. There are spelling mistakes, not to mention comic sans. Anyways this is not my point,a May release with a tour in may in 1999 doesn't make much sense. That would mean within one month they got their record deal, recorded the EP and planned a tour, that's impossible.
  18. You mean it can't be found on the internet.
  19. I'm starting to think they all just dont know what the fuck they are talking about anymore. Mike can't even get the founding year of his band right lol. I don't think they played the Roxy before the year 2000. You could say Linkin Park started their career at the Roxy. We know nothing about it, we are missing tons of info for their 1997 to early 2000 shows.
  20. The studio finals are from May 2000, so that means the album might have been in the mix already around that time. It doesn't change the fact that they played shows at the end of May/early June. The tour was probably not very big, maybe just 10 shows or something. They headlined these shows too.
  21. Hybrid Theory was recorded from March to July 2000 (according to Wikipedia). They definitely toured the west coast in may 2000. I highly doubt they toured in may 1999 right after Chester joined. They still had no record deal.
  22. The 2 Xero shows in 1998 are also very solid evidence. The May tour mentioned in the text is probably the May 2000 tour, even when we don't know that much about it. It would be really interesting to know when about it really came out. Since it's just a promo CD probably only the street team people from back then know. I don't think you can look up the date anywhere. I opened a topic in the LPU forums if someone knows when it came out, I'm not expecting much from it but you never know. I don't know a better place to ask.
  23. because it was not one of the previously released DSPs.
  24. wow i somehow missed this announcement. holy crap, what a random place to play a show. Had to look it up on google maps to fully understand where this really is. Probably a really cool place, looks very nice.
