  1. NYC would be much better than LA, just because LP is always doing stuff in LA constantly and NYC hasn't had a club show since 2010, if I recall correctly.
  2. I think an announcement is coming soon. Whatever it is has been booked, apparently. Something next month.
  3. The tour kicks off in Charlotte this weekend.
  4. Added everything except Compilation CD because that is an internal WBR CD and wasn't a release. I didn't add the DSP for Moscow either.
  5. I really enjoy the Fort Minor set and collabs. High Voltage is: Suicide Music, Wu-Tang Clan's C.R.E.A.M., and the outro is Rebel Without A Pause by Public Enemy.
  6. After a show in Serbia almost happened to close the band's European Tour for The Hunting Party, Linkin Park headlined Rock in Roma in Roma, Italy for the last show of ten on the tour. This tour wraps up the tours for The Hunting Party before the band heads back into the studio. As of now, only one show remains in Tempe, AZ later this year but another club show is rumored to be announced soon. Something interesting happened at the show in Italy. A fan named Alessandro organized a flashmob at the show for the band but unfortunately passed away in a car accident before the show. We believe it was a few days before the show, but please correct us if we are wrong. The band found out about it, presumably at the Meet & Greet and Chester, similar to the Monterrey show in June, dedicated the band's encore to Alessandro. We all know the fans in Italy are amazing...the show last year in Milano was incredible. However, at this one...the fans started chanting for A Place For My Head and the band actually obliged. Like, Brad walked down from the keyboard (before Waiting For The End), got a guitar, and the band played it. They know we love A Place For My Head and know it's probably the most-requested song by the online fanbase, but this is the first time they've added it on the spot for a fan. Check out the video. As you can hear in the video, Mike asked us to fact-check this exact scenario, so here we go. Some previous incidents have happened that are worth mentioning. Songs have been added mid-show before, including A Place For My Head. - At the intimate shows in the UK in 2003, Simon and Jon (from LPFuse) and their whole crew were at literally all of the shows....and always were yelling for A Place For My Head and A.06. At Top of the Pops, the band played A.06 (the cool mashup version with My Own Summer) and even started A Place For My Head for them, but didn't play the full song. Two days later at CD:UK Headliners, Linkin Park happily obliged and played BOTH songs for them - A.06 and A Place For My Head. And finally, at the Kerrang! 2003 show, LP did A.06 again for them. Shoutout to the UK fans for that - three performances of A.06 and two of A Place For My Head. - Another interesting fact about A Place For My Head in 2004 is that it wasn't at the Glasgow 2004 show, but was added for Download the next day. They dropped it for the first four shows of Projekt Revolution 2004 again, but added it again starting in Mansfield. - We all know about the amazing encore to end Projekt Revolution 2004 in Mountain View...Crawling, A.06, aborted Wish, Sweet Child O' Mine, Wish, and One Step Closer. These were done for fun, though, and not due to fan requests. - Fast forward to Seinajoki 2008, where Mike saw a sign in the crowd for Hands Held High and he rapped verse one acapella. You can see this on the Milton Keynes DVD too, because according to an interview at the time, Brad said it was a cool idea and Mike kept it for the last show of the tour. This kind of happened again at Rio 2012, where the fans yelled SO LOUDLY for Crawling that Chester sang verse one acapella. - At Paris 2010, for the Hybrid Theory 10th Anniversary, the band played A Place For My Head unrehearsed, but it wasn't due to fan requests either. - At San Jose 2011, Mike's keyboard problems on the tour finally came to a point where another song had to be played while the issues were handled and that song was The Messenger. "We weren't going to play this song tonight, but apparently it wants to be played", remarked Chester. It wasn't due to fan requests, though. - Two shows in 2012 had technical difficulties on New Divide, so the band played A Place For My Head while the issues were worked out....Bucharest and Noblesville. These were chosen by LP, not fans. - In 2013, the band asked the fans if they'd rather hear In The End or A Place For My Head in Melbourne, and they played A Place For My Head. In a similar move, at a KROQ private rehearsal in August, they asked the contest winner which song he wanted to hear live, so they played Breaking The Habit instead of Numb. A Place For My Head has been played very sparingly on this world tour. Performances before Roma include Download 2014, Ventura 2014, the Amsterdam 2014 LPU Summit soundcheck, and the first three shows of the North American Tour in 2015 (Orlando, Nashville, and Indianapolis). The song was in both setlists of the North American Tour, so it would have taken it to nineteen performances on that tour and three in 2014 for a total of twenty two. Sadly, the tour was canceled and the 2014 and 2015 performances combined bring it to a total of seven performances on the world tour for The Hunting Party (including Roma). In recap, Linkin Park has played songs randomly that weren't on the setlist plenty of times. The UK 2003 performances of A.06 and A Place For My Head count as them playing "fan requests", but those were VERY intimate shows...all with 50 or fewer fans and 75%+ of those 50~ fans were in the LP Underground. And we all know Mike has taken a million requests for verses over Points Of Authority and Bleed It Out...from Reading My Eyes to Step Up, High Voltage, Second To None, and more. This is the first time that Linkin Park in their career has played a song at a normal headlining show due to fan requests with zero planning beforehand, and also not due to a technical issue. And there we go! Mike was right on stage in Roma when he said that Linkin Park has never done that before, and we agree with him. We agree that playing A.06 and A Place For My Head to 50 LPU fans is considered a request, but those aren't full shows to 30,000+ fans. Technical issues have forced the band to play unplanned songs way more than they wanted to, but they always pull through and make something happen. Hopefully A Place For My Head returns for the 2016 shows!
  7. Definitely LP music, not FM. That's interesting though. At least they're taking the time on the road to work on stuff.
  8. Look at the crowd pics and you can easily tell no more than 20,000 are there.
  9. Best setlist of THP touring cycle. Disgusting.
  10. Jesse Hasek! That's the man right there. Joe is still gone, right?
  11. There is no way Grafen had 40,000. Stuttgart had like 32,000 and Grafen was much smaller.
  12. I disagree. I like the way he did it. If he had played RTN and Welcome in the FM set, he wouldn't have done High Voltage or Cigarettes probably, and those two songs are fantastic live. With that said, it's time for RTN/Welcome to disappear from the LP set after this tour. They're taking up LP song spots.
  13. Berlin http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=539052 Thanks guys, I'll add all of this today. List the audio and video separately, even if the audio was used in the video source.
  14. Rob and Brad got hurt playing GATS, lmao
  15. Totally redid the post. Sorry guys. Fort Minor setlist: 01. Petrified 02. In Stereo 03. It's Goin' Down 04. Cigarettes 05. Until It Breaks 06. Where'd You Go 07. High Voltage 08. High Road 09. Believe Me Mike said he is playing Remember The Name and Welcome in the Linkin Park setlist.
  16. Yes, I think Rob is irreplaceable. Or they'd have to drop songs, at least. I bet it'd be hard for someone to know all of his parts of the songs as well as how to start the songs. The fact is, those three might not be replaceable at all and those three are the ones that would cause a show to be canceled, but no one vibes on stage as well as all 6 members. I was really unimpressed with the Rock on the Range show with no Brad.
  17. Before the Fort Minor show in Berlin, Mike took an online fan poll to add a song to the Fort Minor setlist. The choices included Red To Black, Right Now, Second To None, Step Up, and High Voltage. High Voltage won by a large majority, to almost no one's surprise. The song was highly requested by fans as a "surprise" before the Download 2014 show. Before the song, Mike talked about how it'd be hard for Linkin Park to play High Voltage before In The End at a concert, because fans wouldn't know it. We pretty much disagree with that statement since they played Reading My Eyes mid-set in 2006 and 2008 and think that if fans know 23 out of 24 songs in a live show, there isn't a problem, but oh well. One song surely doesn't confuse fans that much, and the current setlist with Robot Boy into Joe's Solo Medley definitely confuses fans more than High Voltage would. Anyway, Mike mashed the song up with Suicide Music from The Raid and a Wu-Tang Clan song, which we currently don't know the name of....help us out if you know it. He called the ending of the song the "Funky Rebel Break Outro", so that might be a clue. Additionally, Mike said he "couldn't leave the song alone" and decided a remix/mashup was better than playing the original. This definitely fits the Fort Minor setlist because of how many remixes there are in the show. Prior to this date, High Voltage has not been played since 2001. We aren't counting this as a FULL performance but it does include both verses. The last KNOWN performance of High Voltage was on November 27th, 2001 on the "Countdown To Revolution" Tour in Kansas City, MO. It's likely the song was played at one of the next four shows, but the band eventually dropped it from the setlist by the end of that short tour. It debuted on the Street Soldiers Tour earlier that year in Seattle, along with Crawling and Pushing Me Away, so it didn't survive even a full year on stage sadly. On Projekt Revolution 2007, Mike started rapping High Voltage (verse two) over Points Of Authority a few times, which continued into 2009. The first time this happened was Virginia Beach 2007 and the last was Stuttgart 2009, where he started High Voltage, messed it up, went into Bloc Party, and made up for it by doing Reading My Eyes over the outro. Not bad! That's the only version of the song that has had THREE verses (albeit, two partial ones) over it. In 2007, it was just verse two and Stuttgart 2009 had verse one. The song did not return in any form until Bremen 2014, where verse one appeared over Mike's Solo Medley for the first and only time ever. Anyway, this is our rundown of the song and we are glad it has returned in some form to the Fort Minor setlist! Now, if we could only get Linkin Park to play it someday.
  18. Before the Berlin show, fans were told at the LPU Meet & Greet that Joe had to tend to a family emergency at home and had to leave the tour. It is currently unknown if he will be back for the final two shows of the tour in Düsseldorf or Roma, but it is unlikely since the tour ends in less than 48 hours. This was the first show Joe has ever missed in his live career with Linkin Park. In response to this, the band dropped Joe's Solo Medley from the setlist. They didn't replace it with anything, for those of you wondering if anything else got added to the show. Warren Willis, his DJ tech, filled in for him at the show. With Joe missing a show, this leaves Rob, Chester and Mike as the only three members that haven't missed a show with Linkin Park before. The entire band had perfect attendance until 2011. Phoenix broke the streak in Bangkok in 2011 when he had food poisoning, and Brad missed two promo shows in Japan in 2012 for Living Things. Brad came VERY close to missing the St. Petersburg 2014 show due to a back injury, which was his tech Benjamin's third show with the band ever...surely a very nerve wrecking moment. Benjamin went as far as to "warm up" with Mike backstage before the show but Brad luckily was able to play at the last second, propping himself up against Joe's part of the stage for a few shows. Later that year, Brad missed two shows in Brazil due to an ear infection and also missed Rock on the Range earlier this year due to a personal family matter.
  19. Fixing it now, I agree.
  20. Today, Linkin Park takes The Hunting Party Tour back to Germany for their second show in Berlin on the album's touring cycle, after their headlining show there last fall, which was filmed by Samsung for a 4K release. Sadly, the show has still not been released! Berlin is the only city on the tour to host both a Linkin Park show and a Fort Minor show. It is also one of only two cities to be played twice on The Hunting Part's world tour, along with Moscow. Last night, Mike performed at Kesselhaus, the venue Linkin Park kicked off the world tour for Minutes To Midnight at in 2007. He added a fan-requested song to the setlist, High Voltage! This is Linkin Park's tenth show in Berlin, dating back to 2001. Our preshow post for the 2014 show covers all of the prior shows in Berlin. In March 2001, they first played Berlin, on their second-ever visit to Germany. Five shows on that Deftones tour of Europe were in Germany - sounds familiar, right? The day after September 11th, 2001, Linkin Park headlined Berlin for the first time and Chester played a very rare acoustic performance of The Morning After. After a canceled June 2003 show due to Chester's injury, Linkin Park returned in September 2003 for an arena show in Berlin to a huge crowd. As mentioned above, the first show for Minutes To Midnight was a club show in Berlin, which saw a great debut of No More Sorrow (Given Up too, but it was a rough version of it). 2008 featured arguably the best show in Berlin yet, with a headlining Projekt Revolution show at the legendary Waldbühne venue. Since then, Linkin Park has used Berlin as a sort of "headquarters" on their trips to Europe, staying in the city and flying to venues in Europe for each show. A lot of writing for A Thousand Suns was done in Berlin in 2008. A studio in Berlin is credited in the album booklet and you can see evidence of this even in the latest LP Underground album with the track titles. Prague also got some studio treatment. For A Thousand Suns's world tour, the band kicked it all off in Berlin, debuting their "V" stage design for the first time ever for a full show. An intimate club show in Berlin was held in 2012 after the Rock am Ring and Rock im Park shows and was eventually shown in theaters for the Living Things album release. Finally, again, there was the arena show last fall. Berlin is one of Linkin Park's favorite cities on the planet and today's show will be packed as always. After this show, the band headlines Rock im Sektor in Düsseldorf on the 5th and Rock in Roma in Italy on the 6th before the tour ends. Fort Minor plays at Rock im Sektor and has the show in London on the 8th. The Linkin Park tour dates can be found here, Fort Minor's here.
  21. We don't want you to sign more than once. As many people that can sign, the better.
  22. Here's an update on our #LPDSP campaign to get Linkin Park to release more live shows online. LPCatalog was able to discuss the campaign with Mike at the Meet & Greet in Rybnik. Here's where we are at: Linkin Park as a band is on board. The band members have no problems with DSPs or releasing shows (new and old) online, and they think it's a great idea. The problem is with Warner Bros, the band's label. They aren't on board with it right now, and we need to change that. Please join our campaign and sign if you haven't. We detail the entire letter and proposed changes to the band's online live show release system. We want to make it easier on the band, their crew, the label and the fans and believe there is a solution that will benefit all parties. Fans want older and newer shows released online, and there should be a way that it can be done. If you need a refresher for what HAS been released, here you go: 229 live shows have been released by Linkin Park between 2007 and 2012. Pre-DSP era Before DSPs, Linkin Park included live songs on LP Underground CDs and as bonus tracks on single releases. High Voltage, Reading My Eyes, One Step Closer with Jonathan Davis from Korn, QWERTY and Step Up/It's Goin' Down/Nobody's Listening are just a few of the great live tracks released before 2007. Minutes To Midnight era With the start of the DSPs, fans were able to relive their concert experiences at Linkin Park's shows. This is also arguably when Linkin Park, after a two and a half year break of not touring, took their live show to the next level and evolved into a true worldwide headlining band with an actual show. Debut performances of new songs on Minutes To Midnight, huge shows in Europe, first appearances in Asian countries, and more were all released from 2007-2009. One tour that was unfortunately NOT released in this era was the Summer European Tour in 2008, with three very unique setlists. A Thousand Suns era In 2010-2011, Linkin Park released shows from their first South American Tour ever and first show in Brazil since 2004. Fans heard new ATS songs for the first time as well as the return of Projekt Revolution in Europe in 2011. Highlights also include the show at Moscow's Red Square, the one-off performance of A Place For My Head in Paris for Hybrid Theory's 10th Anniversary, and the beginning of the LPU Summits. Living Things era With another new album in 2012, we heard the new medleys/mashups the band incorporated live, like LOATR/SOTD/Iridescent, Lying From You/Papercut, and Victimized/QWERTY along with a cool cover of the Beastie Boys' Sabotage during Bleed It Out. The last two shows ever released as DSPs were the band's first shows in South Africa in November 2012 to massive stadium crowds. Unfortunately, the lack of promotion for the DSPs by the band's management lead to poor sales and the end of the recordings. There are still many shows and great things in the band's history that we do NOT have. Since 2012, there have been numerous LPU Summits worldwide, more song debuts, and first shows in countries worldwide. We want Linkin Park to release older shows from before 2007, too. There are fantastic shows from 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2006 that deserve proper releases as well as the large European Tour in summer 2008. If you want another version of Wish (Nine Inch Nails cover), an officially released version of My Own Summer (Deftones cover) from 2002, a full Projekt Revolution 2004 show, more guest versions of songs and unique live versions, or a full Summer Sonic 2006 show, sign the petition. Songs like Hit The Floor and many others have never been released. A full, officially mixed and mastered version of a show like this: Or this: The band has shows like these in their vault, many of them. Not a TON, but a good amount from each year. Please keep spreading the word so we can reach our goal (5,000 minimum) and send the signatures to the band's record label! Once again, you can sign here.
  23. We'll continue with what we've been doing this tour in regards to posting full videos of shows that are being uploaded...so here's Rybnik! The same taper recorded Wroclaw 2014 as well, which you can view here. If you see any other full videos of shows, send them our way and we'll post them! Great job everyone on this tour so far of recording shows...technology has really come a long way. It's wild we've evolved from a 15 second cellphone video of QWERTY in 2006 to the full HD video of a show being uploaded the same night.
  24. God damnit this is great. FLAME knows the songs so he's on Mike in the verses just before he starts singing (instead of after, like most tapers). Really good stuff here. I'm going to watch this on my TV tomorrow. Chester sounds AWESOME at this show, damn. ALITS > FTI is really top notch. I fully believe they "play up" to bigger crowds...aka the crowds really feed them. If the crowd is dead, they sometimes phone it in. If it's exploding like they do in Europe, they hit a home run on stage.
  25. FLAME-XIII, a good friend of the site from Russia and reliable Linkin Park taper/trader, has just released his full video of the show in Moscow on the 29th! His 2014 Moscow show is ridiculously good too, so we can't just post 2015 without including that one too. Thanks FLAME for taping and for all that you do for the LP community!
