You can post it wherever you want, lol. 25 Years

Predicting January/February 2011.

Now I see why you didn't have those. They weren't in that big package that was released by a site a few years ago or whenever the hell it was. I have 2 Rosewood folders because the tracks overlap. One is my main folder (The Rosewood Fall) with Demonstrate, Stereo/Left, Stereo/Right and the random stuff I have by them, and the other folder (ROSEWOOD) is the full package that was posted. "Below Your Window" - track 1 on Stereo/Right "Come on and Rise" - track 2 on Stereo/Right "Below Your Window (alt version) - aka "Below Your Window (New)" - track 12 on Stereo/Right "Coming Home Soon" - track 13 on Stereo/Left File format is .m4a and I guess it's .m4a because whoever sent me the CD (Energy from LPFuse most likely) ripped it that way. I have a track titled "Sixty Seven One" but it's just "God Bless". I guess that was the demo name; I believe it came from their MySpace ages ago. So if your original post is right, that means the other site that released Rosewood stuff missed the 3 songs you posted and these 4 - a total of 7. Interesting. About the unreleased track, give me a day, trying to figure something out. I forgot the title of it but when I got Stereo from Energy in 2007 he sent me a track he said he got from Jim directly that noone else had and that I couldn't upload it anywhere...I need to figure out what the title was/where the hell the mp3 is, lol.

I have heard from people that the LPU will be getting an exclusive hookup on the DSP release, which is why I say that. There is some sort of direct correlation between an LPU exclusive and the DSP's, so I based my guess on that statement. I really agree with you, I have no idea WHAT they could do for the LPU but we'll see. I'm interested; sounds badass.
-
Putting my bet down it's something to do with the DSP release.

Every year LP plays in Europe just about they play in places they've never played. Stop complaining and learn to travel. LP is visiting constantly new countries. FM part 2 would be epic, because FM is fucking GREAT...DBS was a total joke. And LOL @ "I want better demos". Jesus christ.
-
If it's only available in a few countries then fuck it, post it on the forums. I really don't care, lol. It's not like France is going to take down LPL. Regardless of what you do, I'd like a link somehow/somewhere to Let Down Hamburg, lol.
-
Wish he would've posted the working titles....
-
Yeah that'd be great!
-
Already happened like 5 times. Album out in 2005, album out in 2006, album out in late 2006, album out in early 2007 - bam MTM in May. New album out in 2009, it's already January.
-
Wasn't Let Down from Hamburg released somewhere? I'm so behind on the DBS stuff...I'd like to get a copy of that Let Down live mp3, and I guess Fire from this one too, lol

Meh. I'm sorry to disappoint people. People complain because I don't announce things I'm doing then when I do people complain anyway. Lose lose situation I guess...I guess it's better to just keep everything quiet. First exclusive was this show in 2 cam mix DVD format with good audio over it. LP/JZ ftw. The guy that got it for me was RyanJ, who I met at Bonnaroo Music Festival the past year. After meeting such a sincere, nice guy, it's hard to believe someone like that would continually lie to you for months and fuck you over in the end. There's more ways to get it like Felipe said so we're still working on it. Just like with Mountain View 2004 in 2007, I'm not going to give up on getting the show - I am positive we will end up getting it someday. No, no Xero or Hybrid Theory shows, but a Grey Daze show is possible in 2010. Second exclusive I'd like to keep quiet for now. If you liked our whole ordeal with QWERTY I don't think anyone will complain about it. I just want you to know Felipe, Nick and I (the main 3 behind these huge exclusives) are not trying to fuck any of you over, we're just trying to provide as much cool stuff to the LP community as possible free of charge. I apologize the first big thing went wrong, but I guess that's what I get for running my mouth. Perhaps future exclusives will be kept quiet until the day of (like She Couldn't) unless someone else tries to spoil it (see: LPA).

Not off the top of my head but when I get to college I'll list all the Rosewood shit I have.

Yo. Happy New Years, Merry Christmas, all that good stuff. I've been on a break from school for a while which is why I haven't been posting much on LPL recently. SO, this means I believe I should give you guys some updates; agree? Well, first thing's first. LPL 4.0 is looking just damn awesome. What's the holdup? For once I can say ME, haha. We've got actually most all of it done - now we're at a point where I personally need to go back through every show, make sure the setlist notes/show notes are all right, etc...as well as finish a few cool pages (downloads and such). So the holdup would be me on break from school for almost a month (meaning my CPU is at college while I'm at home) but the good news is I'm returning Wednesday. Business time! Well, I was about to also make a dramatic news post right before Christmas saying THE exclusive wasn't coming (WTF, right?). Yes, it seems through all this stuff we went through, we got fucked in the end on it. It's a long story short but hey, shit happens. I would like to tell you what show it was but I don't want to ruin it in case somehow we end up getting it. What's really good about this is how I DIDN'T post about it because 2 days later I was informed of ANOTHER exclusive. Yes it's something I and a few others had to buy as well (remember She Couldn't, lol?) but the EXTREMELY good news is that it's shipping to us tomorrow morning, meaning we should have it in like a week?! It's also a show, yes. But something really really cool. Maaaybe not as insane as the first one but prettttttty close. And lastly, it's JANUARY. January you say? Yes, January means two things. One, the NEW LINKIN PARK SONG on the iPod game is dropping soon. Great! I hope we get some info on that very shortly. The next thing it means is the new DSP's will be available this month (see: everything from 2007-2009 as far as I know?). Who's excited?
-
Yep. Had all 3 of those but I just checked my iPod and I have: Coming Home Soon, Below Your Window, and Come On And Rise. I have a version of Below Your Window that's the regular version and one with (New) next to it, so I guess one is the alt version. All my mp3s are on my computer @ college which I'll be back at like on Wednesday so I can upload them then. I believe I have all of those. I also have some other track (just one I think) LPA didn't release as far as I know since a close friend of the band sent me a lot of random files and shit by them a few years ago.
-
I already had the two you posted but I am missing a few of the ones you said were coming soon, so I'm looking forward to them
-
Where is it? I can host it on LPL if you want.
-
Only one song in and the info on God Bless is really cool. I wish more bands gave info on every single song like this, I might relate more to the music that way. I usually just pay attention to the instrumental/vocals but not really the lyrics, you know, when I listen to music. I'll look at lyrics sometimes, yeah but if I know what a song was written about or written for and why, I think it's easier to connect to it and relate it to something with you. Very cool.

From reading this thread, it is apparent to me that Ash did this independently, so I see no need to link or give credit to anyone else. I find it hard to believe two people requested information on a defunct band on the exact same night, so I do find that kind of weird. However, this thread has nothing to do with another website, this is solely information Ash by himself collected from Jim from Rosewood Fall, so I have reopened the discussion. Now, mod matters aside: I never would have seen or heard about this without you posting here Ash, so thanks for the heads up. I'm about to go get my iPod and put the albums on so I can listen and read the descriptions at the same time. Good stuff. Thanks again and nice work!
-
I never knew that. That's really cool. Rosewood Fall is some of the best music I've heard, I listen to them all the time...have them on some mix CDs in my car...all the stuff on my iPod, etc. The 6 song EP is EXCELLENT and some stuff from Left/Right is great. I really enjoy their stuff.

Second copy of HT 8-Track Demo CD For Sale
hahninator replied to Ashwhisker's topic in Everything Linkin Park
Of course I can fucking read you fool. Obviously the seller is making copies of the CD and continues to sell them. I realized that when the CD claimed to be from like 99 and the physical CD was manufactured by Sony/whoever in like 2003, so obviously there's 1 original and he's making copies. Waste of money if you ask me. We all got fucked by the seller (those that bought it), but I don't really care since we got She Couldn't and posted it. -
Second copy of HT 8-Track Demo CD For Sale

This is the fakest shit ive ever seen lol -
I have a good quality audience audio recording of that show if you want me to upload it for you. Pinkpop was a good show. The band only talked about New Orleans 3 times before TLTGYA. 2007: Pinkpop & Atlanta; 2008: Los Angeles. I'd like to have the DSP.

I'd like to see Mike produce the whole thing himself. The donna donna thing is just great, Rick did an excellent job with that. You can even hear it on What I've Done - "na na na na, na na na na" etc. I really like that idea. It worked out for "Japan" too! I really think that's a great way to do melodys...the LOATR/TLTGYA demos really bring it out. I hope that is included in the next CD process.
