  1. lol epic. It's not KROQ, that's why! I can't even tell you how many webcast or TV recordings of LP we'd have over the years if they'd just do it for every show it's offered at.... *cough*Rockamgoddamnring2007*cough*
  2. Thanks. Updated the main post with it.
  3. I guess we won't know for sure until the DSP is out?
  4. I completely agree. I'd rather them keep making their own style though, keep evolving versus going backwards. If they make songs that sound like other albums they have and they don't like it...well give it to us on an LPU CD! lol
  5. Yes. This. I agree with Phoenix too. I don't even see why the remix was made for Transformers/radio lol. I think the song is fine like it is. I could understand a remix on an LPU CD since it's something we don't have and it destroys having another live song but for a radio edit or for a promotion of a movie....eh.
  6. On the 30th, Linkin Park plays one of the top five largest music festivals in Europe - Rock Werchter in Werchter, Belgium at Festivalpark. The band first played in Belgium on March 20th, 2001 in Deinze (show page here) while on the Deftones' European Tour. There are two pretty good audio recordings of that show floating around so check them out; request them on the forum in the audio section if you need them and someone will hook you up! This is the first performance in the country in over TEN years and only the second time for Linkin Park in the country - the first time headlining. Wow! This tour, like most European Tours these days, has seen LP play in several countries either for the first time ever or for the first time in a long time. Their last show at the Hove Festival in Ardenal, Norway was their first time playing in Norway. Sweden received a show for the first time in four years, Finland and Italy received one for the first time in three, and Belgium will have one for the first time in a decade. Impressive! I like how the band is slowly getting everywhere on the globe... hopefully places like South Africa, New Zealand, Mexico and India see them before too long. Speaking of Norway, here is a great proshot video from their last show of 'Papercut' and 'Lying From You'. Check out Mike descending from the stairs for the start of the song! I haven't seen that since (although I'm sure it's been done since then, haha). We actually don't have a setlist for the Hove Festival show yet since that fest is still going on and there aren't many Norwegian LP fans on the English fansites, but I'm sure we'll get it before too long. All of the info we've gotten so far point to the same set that Donington (show page here) got. The lineup for Rock Werchter indicates the band is not the last one on the Main Stage...a first for this tour I believe. Opening for Linkin Park will be OFWGKTA, Seasick Steve, The Hives, Anouk, Queens Of The Stone Age. Playing after them are The Chemical Brothers. The 30th is the first day of the festival, with Arsenal headlining on Friday, Coldplay on Saturday and The Black Eyed Peas on Sunday. Linkin Park plays three shows in a row for the only time on this tour and for the second time on this touring cycle. In 2010 it was done with Herning, Zürich, and Frankfurt. On July 1st they play the Main Square Festival in Arras, France and on the 2nd they play OpenAir St. Gallen in St. Gallen, Switzerland. After that, the tour closes out at the Roundhouse in London on July 4th for the iTunes Festival. We know a lot of you have been trying to get tickets for that show so that intimate show should be a great way to end the tour! 2011's touring info can be found here. Setlist-wise it seems like LP will stay with their festival sets for these three shows and likely do a full show (meaning with an encore) in London. Who's going to Rock Werchter? M&G anyone? Is anyone updating us with the setlist in realtime? SETLIST: 01. The Requiem 02. Papercut 03. Lying From You 04. Given Up 05. What I've Done 06. Empty Spaces 07. When They Come For Me 08. No More Sorrow 09. Jornada Del Muerto 10. Waiting For The End 11. Wisdom, Justice, And Love 12. Iridescent 13. Numb 14. The Radiance 15. Breaking The Habit 16. The Catalyst 17. Crawling 18. New Divide 19. In The End 20. Bleed It Out 21. Faint 22. One Step Closer
  7. 50 euro for LP is not bad. It's $80 here for them to headline. I'd pay 80-90 euro for a ticket to this. How can you complain about 30 lol?
  8. Maybe Jen feels differently, not sure, than me on this issue but I don't care if someone double posts as long as their information is relevant to the topic at hand. Thanks for the videos!
  9. Yeah you are right. Asian crowds are the most respectful crowds in the world. DEAD silent on the quiet parts during the set. No talking at all. They are also loud as hell when they need to be. LP plays to totally different audiences when they tour the world. US/Australia are pretty similar from what I can tell, maybe Australia is a bit more hardcore. US is the least intense for sure. Europe is god damn off the wall insane at shows and Asia is a very respectful audience but also loud and rowdy...just different atmosphere. Trent Reznor's comments at a NIN show in Asia on their last tour were pretty funny - he said something like the first time they played there he thought no one liked the band at all because they didn't make any noise during their songs like "Something I Can Never Have" and "Hurt" and how you could hear a pin drop on "Hurt". Actually the best live recording I have of "Hurt" comes from Japan....
  10. http://www.fvn.no/kultur/musikk/konsertanm...ticle878771.ece Papercut/LFY opened, which we already know though. Maybe it was the same set as Donington?
  11. Hmm I don't really think so. The band hasn't done a lot of shows in Asia in a few years so I'm sure they're just playing where the promoters are demanding them, etc.
  12. I thought you were in the LPU? Didn't you get a M&G this year?
  13. The camera angles on Iridescent (remix) blow Road To Revolution away lol. Much more enjoyable performance and I am not even a fan of Iridescent at all. That was fun to watch...great angles, band looks great, love Chester rocking the red. Good performance of the song...can't wait for the full 30 min broadcast. Sucks we don't get a DSP or a full proshot.
  14. I believe they'll end it with 12 shows in Asia. There is room between Osaka on the 16th and Taipei on the 19th for one more show. I'd say on the 18th in China? I'm surprised there hasn't been an announcement of several Chinese shows on this leg. I'd say a Shanghai or Beijing show on 9/18. I'm fairly sure they'll add something since LP rarely ever takes multiple off days in a row in the middle of a tour; almost doesn't happen for them.
  15. Valentine's Day but I fucking love it. Even the first time I heard it I noticed the way Chester sings it He sounds SO depressed and emotional even with the first line or 2. Great, great song.
  16. Might be the first show in a long ass time where we are clueless on the setlist. Ouch!! These small European countries...argh lol
  17. Linkin Park has added a second night in Tokyo, Japan on their Asian Tour this September. The official website's announcement reads: "Linkin Park has added an additional show at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan on September 10. Stay tuned for information about the LPU pre-sale and public on-sale ticket info." It is interesting to note that like the Melbourne shows in 2010, the second show (this one) will actually be the first show played. Both Melbourne and Tokyo on this touring cycle have had second dates added the day before the original show. Linkin Park has played at this venue once before on Earth Day in 2007 (show page here) for the Live Earth event, when the fans broke the barricade. With a second date being added, we can start speculating about the location of the fifth LPU Summit! Will the band bring it to Tokyo? The first two LPU Summits took place in two of the three cities so far on the "A Thousand Suns" World Tour that hosted two shows - London and Sydney. Do you think Tokyo will host a Summit this fall? This show brings the Asian Tour to 11 shows, making it the largest tour in Asia the band has ever played. Previously, 2007 held the record for the most shows in Asia on one tour with 10, although the band played another earlier in the year for Live Earth. LP has played five shows in Japan previously in 2003 and 2007. Source here. Find the full 2011 tour schedule here.
  18. Apparently no one from LPLive went lol. No idea what they played.
  19. You can hear it after What I've Done. I added it to the show notes!
  20. Leipzig, Oberursel and Mountain View are now up.
  21. He should have ripped the vinyl before selling it... :/ I wonder who bought it. I'd love to see what was on it. Yeah if the guy has more LP stuff he should sell it!
  22. The Catalyst (Does It Offend You, Yeah? Remix) (Remix by FSG) When They Come for Me (Diplo Remix) Pts.OF.Athrty (Beat Juggle) (Remix by FSG) These are just one file or are there multitracks for these?
  23. Yeah sure! no problem
