  1. http://lpfancorner.com/2013/08/20/concert-...nila-august-13/ "I was expecting they’d play their classics from the Hybrid Theory album but I was surprised they played With You because I haven’t heard that song being played live in their recent tours. Nevertheless, it was a pleasant surprise to hear an old favorite being played again." lol. With You came back May 18, 2012.
  2. Unrealistic but a perfect mix of shit from every album, including ATS and LT. Jam time. Space Station (first 1:38 into 2012 LITE intro, maybe band doesn't play any of it) LOST IN THE ECHO From The Inside (Ext. Intro) Wretches & Kings (Speech Scratch Intro) With You (2012 Scratch Intro, Scratch Outro) Empty Spaces/When They Come For Me VICTIMIZED (w/ QWERTY) + Lying From You/Papercut (All 4 in the medley like Bristow/Uncasville) No More Sorrow (Long Intro Somewhere I Belong (2012 Intro) Points Of Authority What I've Done (AMBO Intro) Reading My Eyes ROADS UNTRAVELED Numb (2009 outro....) Breaking The Habit CASTLE OF GLASS Fallout The Catalyst SKIN TO BONE Bleed It Out (with whatever) ------------ TINFOIL POWERLESS Faint (Ext. Outro) A Place For My Head One Step Closer
  3. I like LOATR live but I've seen SOTD so many times I'd rather have a non single in there.
  4. I really thought after the POWERLESS video shoot in Berlin that they'd play it on the Honda Civic Tour. I am very shocked it never came.... damn. How disappointing.
  5. The end of POWERLESS is a synth noise and not backing vocals? In the instrumental you can hear it and Astat said this is synth. Sounds like vocals to me. And I always sing that part when I listen to it LOL. But I also thought IMR's main synth sound was a vocal clip too until I saw it live.
  6. Yeah we'll do a tour wrapup summary/thread in the next day or so. No rush....lol I hope COG stays in the setlists for next year. The USA didn't get it at all. Or Europe. Really sucks they didn't use it on Honda Civic Tour. Song sounds fantastic right now. lol @ if the 2014 setlists drop APFMH, Papercut, POA, With You, COG, VICTIMIZED and everything else for like SOTD, LOATR, Iridescent (all in full) and more singles It'd be a good year to start playing Meteora cuts.
  7. Thanks for the info. I'll get it added! Can someone go through the WID's from the tour and see what ones had the singalong outro and a piano intro? It might be hard to tell. But I think it was all of them. We'll see what we can find. If I had the time to look I would but some help would be great Brad messed up the intro of LGM in KL. Still looking for other random stuff like this from the tour. The BIO bridge was really extended as the band decided what to do over it....
  8. I am astonished there was no UK show for the album. There was a full European Tour with 8 German shows (and most likely some UK shows, as well as other countries) scheduled for last fall. For some reason it was "cancelled" and never happened. No idea for what reason, but that's why there was no UK show on this cycle. The band at least planned to return to Europe in fall 2012 after the short summer run there, but it didn't happen. It wasn't like they intentionally didn't plan anything in Europe (or the UK). It just didn't work out. I bet they kick off the next touring cycle there with headlining arena shows, etc. And it's likely they'll play BID, COG, LITE and maybe try some new LT songs that didn't get played. I doubt VICTIMIZED, IMR or LGM will carry over but you never know.
  9. I'm sure Set A with no changes. I have high hopes for the next touring cycle though. Mike seems to want to play a bigger variety of stuff. The only complaint I have, if any, is the lack of variety with the sets. It seems in 2007, 2008 and even 2011, the differences between the 3 sets were a lot more significant than 2012/2013 in my opinion. A and B, what is different? One has APFMH and Lying From You, one has The Catalyst and VICTIMIZED (w/ QWERTY). Where did Set C go with WTCFM and IMR?
  10. Mike: "@lplive Ha! Our setlist is a complicated matter. Let's just say that I'm personally willing to play any song, and play a longer set." Looks like Shinoda is the one being held back with the sets. Makes me wonder why the band does the sets the way they do. I know he wants to play singles but I bet he'd play some other shit too. Chester is most likely the reason why they don't play longer. Preserve his voice, that's fine...the set length to me is perfectly fine if they want Chester to be fine to tour/sing for years to come. But maybe management really is telling them what to play? Or the rest of the band doesn't want to play many non singles? I wonder what it is. And with his comments about the LIVING THINGS songs (like "not possible with the current setup"), I bet we see 1+ (maybe 2) of these songs next tour. SKIN TO BONE or POWERLESS specifically. I think he is really interested in playing them and will try to make it happen, even with the new songs. We will see.
  11. The LAST show of the LIVING THINGS World Tour takes Linkin Park to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on the 19th of August, where they will play Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil! This will be the band's first show in Kuala Lumpur since they last visited Malaysia on October 15, 2003 (show page here). In 2003, the band took a break from three shows in Australia to do a one-off performance in Malaysia, where strict regulations prevented them from cussing on stage and wearing shorts. This is their second show ever in the country...which should get the band a pretty large and loud crowd at the show. At the recent shows in Asia, the band has been switching between Set A and Set B. Set B was at the last show in Taipei, meaning that this show probably will end with Set A. This is fitting, considering the entire LIVING THINGS touring cycle began with 'TINFOIL' and 'Faint' all the way back at the Hollywood House of Blues show in May 2012 (show page here), which are the same two songs that start Set A (a set that has evolved from that very first show for LIVING THINGS). With the band going to the studio after this tour (the LPU Sessions winner(s) meet with the band in early October), it is very unlikely any additional tours will be announced for LIVING THINGS, meaning 'POWERLESS', 'I'LL BE GONE', 'UNTIL IT BREAKS' (in full), 'SKIN TO BONE' and 'ROADS UNTRAVELED' were all not played live. This is easily a first for Linkin Park. All album tracks for the band on the major releases (excluding Reanimation) have been performed live except for 'Robot Boy' up until this album. Will any of these LIVING THINGS songs ever see the light of day? At the last show of the A Thousand Suns World Tour in Singapore (show page here), the band performed a slightly different setlist to end the tour. 'New Divide', 'From The Inside', and 'One Step Closer' opened the show, which easily has to be the biggest setlist-placement surprise we've seen in recent years. Will the band do something similar for Kuala Lumpur, or will they play it safe with Set A and end it all with that? When do you think we will see the band play live again? The Mall soundtrack/score and the new album are both being worked on, so it possibly might be 2014 before we have another Linkin Park show. What do you think? For the full 2013 touring schedule including setlists from all shows this year, click here. SETLIST: 01. TINFOIL 02. Faint (Ext. Outro) 03. Papercut 04. Given Up (Ext. Outro w/ Extra Note) 05. With You (2012 Scratch Intro; Ext. Scratch Outro) 06. Somewhere I Belong (2012 Intro) 07. New Divide 08. VICTIMIZED (w/ QWERTY) 09. Points Of Authority 10. LIES GREED MISERY 11. Waiting For The End (Apaches Intro w/ 'UNTIL IT BREAKS' v2; Wall of Noise Outro) 12. Breaking The Habit 13. CASTLE OF GLASS 14. LOATR/SOTD/Iridescent (Ballad Medley) 15. The Catalyst 16. LOST IN THE ECHO (2012 Intro) 17. Numb (Outro 'Numb/Encore' Lyrics Tease (Mike/Chester) 18. What I've Done 19. One Step Closer (Ext. Outro) -------------------------------------------- 20. BURN IT DOWN 21. In The End 22. Bleed It Out (Ext. Intro; Ext. Bridge w/ 'Reading My Eyes' v1; Ext. Outro) Setlist picture (for reporters, press, media, etc) here.
  12. Apparently musebootlegs has the Muse Zepp show from right after Summer Sonic already. Not sure if it's one of the usual tapers that tape LP too or what, but that's surprising to me since it usually takes us months or longer to get the LP recordings. I hope someone taped both Summer Sonic shows...
  13. Except that one girl that bitched after Melbourne OMG U DIDN'T PLAY IN THE END MY LIFE IS OVER N I AM SOOO SAD. Fuck lol. Chester replied and thank god was like "come to our other Melbourne show". I hope the band doesn't see shit like that and think "see? We have to keep playing every single we have so casual fans will love the show. FML.
  14. Messenger in Israel TLTGYA in Atlanta. 2007. Mike dedicated it to NOLA people. That's pretty special. Papercut in Phoenix 2007. Story of Chester joining the band over the intro. I think 2008 had it too. BIO w/ NRL. BIO slow -> fast in Auburn. APFMH Paris 2010. Wretches London N2 was the only time Joe extended the speech out over the intro. That shit was filthy. I loved that set because the first 8-9 were so heavy and good. Sucks they didn't keep the set. Put a Fallout/Catalyst opening on there. Blackout live debut. CFTI/QWERTY Mountain View 07, "we've never played that one for you, we haven't played you this one either" or something. One BIO had like a RME intro, drum solo, APFMH bridge or something. Camden 07, first BTH with no intro ever. And it randomly popped up in the encore. HHH live debut Mountain View 07. Crawling with Chris Cornell. Camden 08 is good. SDC on BIO bridge and ending. Charlotte 08 is a good one. HHH acapella V1 into V2 over KRWLNG, that was done hardly at all in 2009, only a few shows. Pretty cool. Iridescent Japan 2011 one show had Mike yelling shit in Japanese on the bridge LOL WFTE NovaRock 2011 was the only one without Jornada before it I think on the whole ATS cycle. That's all I can think of right now.
  15. LPFC RTd a pic on Instagram of someone saying NMS. Probably just a confused casual fan. Set B is great. Hope APFMH and Papercut make it to the next touring cycle. Papercut has survived every single year except the short 2009 tour, so that's great. Even then, Mike threw it over BIO. They love both songs. I think a lot of good stuff will go away though.
  16. Yep, looks like Milan was not a part of the tour. The date seems right but I don't think the venue is right. For the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame show in 2001, "* Lp is playing Mtv's 20th anniversary on August 1st "
  17. Just rearranging Set A, without anything else done: 01. TINFOIL 02. Faint 03. Papercut 04. Given Up 05. With You 06. Somewhere I Belong 07. VICTIMIZED (w/ QWERTY) 08. Points Of Authority 09. Waiting For The End 10. LIES GREED MISERY 11. Numb 12. Breaking The Habit 13. LOATR/SOTD/Iridescent 14. New Divide 15. The Catalyst 16. LOST IN THE ECHO 17. BURN IT DOWN 18. In The End 19. Bleed It Out -------------------------------------------- 20. CASTLE OF GLASS 21. What I've Done 22. One Step Closer I think this is a lot better. I rearranged it a lot but its the same songs. I thought having LGM between POA/WFTE was weird, so I moved it.
  18. Copied your post and added my opinion/thoughts: 01.07.2005 | Philadelphia, PA | Live 8 - Kanye was also rehearsing before LP since he played before them earlier in the day. He showed up on stage just to say hey I'm sure. Highly doubt anything was performed. Jay-Z wasn't there but I bet LP ran through their entire set (including the LPJZ songs). I'll ask Sean if he has a setlist. This is worth adding in my opinion. xx.03.2007 | North Hollywood, CA | Third Encore | Circuit City - Doubt there is any more info we can uncover about this. xx.10.2010 | Buenos Aires, Argentina | Estadio José Amalfitani - Probably the day before. Press there I think and they filmed some LPTV. Probably all the new ATS songs. I don't think we'll list this one since we can't get any info about it. xx.10.2010 | Berlin, Germany | O2 World - "The rehearsal was the day before the show probably." I agree but I doubt we can get any info on it sadly. 20.05.2012 | Las Vegas, NV | MGM Grand - Garden Arena | Billboard Music Awards - Rehearsed the song beforehand. 22.09.2012 | Las Vegas, NV | MGM Grand - Garden Arena | iHeartRadio Music Festival - had a full rehearsal beforehand and there were people in attendance there. - We will add this. 15.11.2012 | Los Angeles, CA | Nokia Theatre - Rehearsal of Burn It Down for the American Music Awards. We will add this. 07.12.2012 | Culver City, CA | Sony Pictures Studios | VGA 10 - Ted Stryker from KROQ was at the VGA 2012 show and saw Castle Of Glass rehearsed earlier in the day. - We will add this.
  19. Ok so Skive is where it begins. Europe's 2008 Summer Tour. I really wish we could get DSPs from that tour. I'll get the setlist pics next week uploaded for those first three shows.
  20. This is my response to Soul talking about ITE/BIO closing a set. But it turned into a rant about the fucking encores. Maybe I am the only person tired of so many singles every show. LP is great live no matter what they play but damn, they really use their radio songs as a crutch for their performances. I don't think they'd do any damage by doing one tour with just 2-3 singles. When the next album drops, play the whole fucking album. Fuck it. When ATS dropped, they should have just played ATS start to finish and then did a second set of non singles + 3 singles they LIKE playing. Not the obligatory ITE, Numb, OSC shit they feel like they have to play. What do they really like to play that's a single? ITE and BIO really flow into each other well. In 2007 I saw OSC, ITE and BIO close the show, which was a really interesting encore but an epic fucking encore at that...OSC with the long intro, BIO extended like crazy with the singalong chorus and the slow -> fast outro...holy shit that was great. I don't think the encores though should be BID, ITE, BIO...but that's just my personal opinion. To me, Set B and C have much stronger encores. Encores to me, I think, should have some PUNCH and be pretty heavy. Maybe the first song can be slow, like TLTGYA or My December. For example, Messenger into ITE, WID and BIO...let's have something a little heavier and not so many 3~ minute radio singles that don't jam as much. WID is an excellent song but I don't think it's good to put in the encore until it's opening the encore. A slow song, APFMH, OSC is great. Blackout, Papercut, Crawling, Faint, OSC is REALLY great. I mean just some heavier shit is great. LOST IN THE ECHO, Papercut, OSC...excellent. TINFOIL, Faint, LFY/Papercut, OSC....best one I've ever seen them do. New Divide, Faint, OSC....awesome. WTCFM, Papercut, New Divide, Crawling, OSC....awesome except for New Divide ruining the vibe. I might be too fucking critical of the band or picky if one song is ruining a vibe for me at a show I guess lol. But shit: Wretches, Papercut, Given Up, New Divide, Faint, WTCFM, NMS....you tell me which song is slow and the crowd won't jam on. New Divide. Yep. Faint, Papercut, Given Up, With You, SIB, New Divide, VICTIMIZED, LFY, LGM, POA. New Divide does it again. LGM I fucking hate but it at least is an upbeat song. I just think it doesn't get more boring than studio versions of BID, ITE, Numb, BIO (w/ Sabotage) to close a show. It's like playing the radio singles to the casual fans. Where's the fucking encore of No More Sorrow, Don't Stay, Faint at? Or Breaking The Habit, LFY/Papercut, OSC?
  21. I typed like a 5 paragraph reply to that and decided to post it somewhere else LOL...running on 4 hours of sleep for two nights in a row, damn. When does this show start? It's 8:55am right now in Taipei. Add 12 hours. So 9am EST I guess.
  22. I'm just going to contact management and see what I can find out. The VMA reason might not even be right like you said. Who knows. I can't even find an official show announcement for Stockholm or Frederiksberg. All the LP.com news archive says is "Hamburg is cancelled" on Sept 11, and on Sept 12 it says "The rest of the tour is ON! Puddle Of Mudd, Adema and Dilated Peoples will be opening shows throughout the tour." That's it...nothing about either of those shows.
  23. This is wild. Never heard of this before. With 5.0, I did huge research about the Stockholm show and apparently it was never announced anywhere on linkinpark.com that I could find. And I looked at a lot of archive.org links, archives, etc. The fansites never listed it at the time and I couldn't find it anywhere until Omar's live guide was created later on. I'm not sure how Omar got the date to begin with but I believe he was one of the first, if not the first, to list the date. We also have the tour poster from this show thankfully. But this show I've never heard of at all. Denmark too. That's interesting. I wonder what venue it was. I bet I can contact someone in management to see if we can get some information on the 2001 dates. We also need verification of the promo 2001 shows in January...apparently the band played more than Paris, Hamburg and London.
  24. Crawling, Faint, OSC is fucking sick, I'll take it all day. Nasty. That probably is even better than New Divide, Faint, OSC that I saw in 2009. What a SHAME they only played that set one time. After New Divide it's sick. After NMS, you could leave for 10 songs and come back for ITE/BIO and the encore. That'd be a great show. The slow shit in the middle is miserable but the first 8 and 19-25 is filthy.
  25. Sick fucking set. Wish they'd do something like that.
