  1. Oh thank god they kept Points. I thought they'd drop it for a new song on Carnivores. Well, I guess that's still possible but I sure hope not.
  2. I bet that's the setlist for tomorrow actually. 01. The Requiem/Catalyst Mashup Intro 02. Guilty All The Same 03. Wastelands 04. Until It's Gone 05. Final Masquerade 06. Keys To The Kingdom All 5 new songs?
  3. Is the thing about Tom Morello joining for the UK dates confirmed?
  4. The third letter there is definitely T letter, letter, T, big word K T T Kingdom? A L I T Sand doesn't fit. It definitely could be W A R with some note next to it I guess. My bet is Keys.
  5. Yeah hanging right next to him. You can identify four of the songs no problem.
  6. Look at the setlist next to him. Looks like a six song setlist for tomorrow or some six song rehearsal set. ?????? (maybe Catalyst/Requiem Mashup Intro?) GATS Wastelands Until It's Gone Final Masquerade ?????? Last one might be Keys To The Kingdom due to how long it is.
  7. They have already rehearsed the entire album before the European Tour, and then they used those rehearsals to decide what to play in Europe. They are just going over two of the songs on THP to add to UIG, Wastelands and GATS for Carnivores. They'll add more in Europe and probably South America. Mike can just make me 10x happier about this "2 song" thing by telling us they're opening the show with the Mall Opening Credits Song. I'd shit my pants.
  8. Not sure if real or trolling. The way they worded the Rock am Ring interview, it made it sound like they have run through every song on the album and learned how to perform it. Then another interview recently said that they wanted to learn all the songs with guests, so that they can even perform them without guests and if the guests just happen to be in the city they're in, the guest can come out and jam with them no problem. Adding just two songs for Carnivores in my opinion is very weird. I thought they'd add more. This definitely means they'll add some others for Europe in the fall, which I guess the USA will see on the 2015 North American Tour in the winter (January/February, after they have the month of December off).
  9. Yeah, solid guess there. Highlights from the show will air on MTV on July 27th, so expect a song or two proshot.
  10. lol question of the century. No it will not be webcasted. Highlights will be shown on MTV a few days after the show apparently. Some sort of mtvU fandom special thingy. Anyone have info on that?
  11. Here is the image. I think what will be debuted live will be War, Final Masquerade and Mark The Graves.
  12. Linkin Park returns to the stage again on July 24th when they perform at the mtvU Fandom Awards in San Diego, CA. The event will be held at Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres, and is a venue that Linkin Park have not played before despite it having been open since 2004. This is the first Linkin Park performance since June 22, 2014, when they performed a surprise set at the Ventura, CA stop of the Vans Warped Tour. The mtvU Fandom Awards set will be the 14th show in support of The Hunting Party, dating back to May 24 (exactly two months before this show) when the touring cycle began. The band has performed in San Diego quite a few times. When they play the area in the summer, they usually perform at the amphitheatre in Chula Vista, CA (2001, 2004, 2007, 2012, and the upcoming 2014 stop on Carnivores, but not on Projekt Revolution 2008), which is less than ten miles south of downtown San Diego. In the actual city of San Diego, the last performance was at Viejas Arena in February 2011 in support of A Thousand Suns. While Hybrid Theory probably performed in San Diego at some point, the first Linkin Park show there was the day before Halloween in 2000 with Kottonmouth Kings. They headlined the same venue on the Street Soldiers Tour in 2001 and headlined Cox Arena in 2002 This will be the fifth show in the city of San Diego, but the ninth show in the area overall. Probably the most interesting thing that has happened to the band in San Diego is Brad breaking his foot in Chula Vista in 2001. The event description for this show was a bit odd, perhaps referencing that the band would be performing twice, with it saying, "Linkin Park will be headlining the first ever mtvU Fandom Awards and the corresponding MTV Fan Fest which will both be taking place at Comic-Con International: San Diego at Petco Park on July 24th." However, we have been told by the band's management that this will be just one set by LP. In terms of the setlist for this show, we are expecting a few live debuts for this show. Linkin Park has been rehearsing for Carnivores Tour recently, with Chester taking a break on the 19th to perform a show in Texas with Stone Temple Pilots. The band has run through "pretty much" (quoting the Rock am Ring interview) every song on The Hunting Party, so we are looking forward to them performing some new songs this summer. San Diego is a perfect chance to test a few of the new songs live. Final Masquerade, the brand new single from the band, is likely to be played and your guess is as good as ours for what other songs they will debut off of the album (War, Keys To The Kingdom, A Line In The Sand, etc). Currently, just Guilty All The Same, Wastelands and Until It's Gone have been performed from the album. What else do you think they'll play? What new songs do you think they'll debut live? In case anyone missed the new live video from Milan (with legit live audio and a mix of fan videos + proshot videos), check that out here: Months before this show was even announced, a crew member posted an image of the "MTVU Fandom Rehearsals" sign at Third Encore online, meaning that Linkin Park has been rehearsing since at least May for this show specifically. This goes along with what the band was saying about learning more songs from the album before the European Tour began, so this is even more evidence that something will debut in San Diego for the first time live. Is anyone going to the show? After San Diego, the band has a little more time to rehearse before Carnivores kicks off. A private production rehearsal takes place in West Palm Beach, Florida on August 6th, two days before the tour begins. Usually the band does some sort of Third Encore rehearsal for fans before a large tour kicks off, but we haven't heard anything about if they'll do one before Carnivores or not. For the list of the tour dates for 2014 click here.
  13. Announcement tomorrow, right?
  14. I think it will be out very soon, in the next week or so.
  15. The full songs aren't in the movie so we will get those separately eventually I'm sure.
  16. We have tried 100x with no luck
  17. Rumor currently is: Circuito Banco do Brasil in Brasilia and Belo Horizonte and Headline shows in Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, and Porto Alegre
  18. Moved to Newswire! Thanks guys! Is it Estadio Malvinas Argentinas in Mendoza, Argentina or is that a venue in Buenos Aires too?
  19. I definitely think this is all they'll do. 16 is a lot and is the biggest headlining tour they have ever done in Europe.
  20. This is a really weird comment by you in my opinion. This tour is longer than Honda Civic Tour, the A Thousand Suns North American Tour, and is longer than Projekt Revolution 2008 (if you count the two one-off shows, then it's one show shorter than the summer 2008 North American Tour). Those are the last three USA tours for the band. They hardly ever go over 25 shows and this is the longest in the past MANY years. This is a big tour, bigger than the dates on Projekt Revolution 2008. It's just a little shorter than Projekt Revolution 2007. Your facts don't back up what you're saying in terms of the length of the tour. Linkin Park has confirmed that they are doing a winter USA tour at the start of 2015, which already means two USA tours for this album and is more than Living Things ALREADY (by doing two tours, but if you count just the length of Carnivores vs HCT, then they've toured the USA more in one tour than they did for all of LT). They aren't doing Projekt Revolution anymore. They don't like the rock bands having to play in the daytime all day long, etc. And on the logistical side, it is very costly for LP to do that tour. WBR I know doesn't want to support doing that tour with the costs involved.
  21. If they sell out all 9 German shows here, then the bitching by others isn't justified at all because Germany repeatedly brings huge crowds and has huge demand for the band. Why play Copenhagen to a 80% full crowd when Germany is a guaranteed sell out? All 5 shows in 2010 sold out so they added Dortmund. We'll see what happens here. I am glad the UK is doing so well, that means they'll see that there is big demand there still and maybe they'll do a bigger UK Tour in 2015, especially if the fans/promoters are demanding it. Any word on the other cities? Amsterdam, Vienna, Zurich, Paris?
  22. Hey guys, I am working on the venue websites for the 2014 shows. When we had amphitheatre venue links (I think starting in 2008), they changed when Live Nation redid all of their website links, and the old ones didn't redirect. What a pain in the ass! And then it happened again in about 2011-2012 sometime (forgot the actual date). For Honda Civic Tour I don't think we ended up putting the venue links for the amphitheatres. It's really just all of the outdoor USA venues owned by Live Nation, so any LP summer tour is affected here (Ozzfest, PR04, PR07, PR08, HCT12, Carnivores 2014). What do we do? I put the Canada links and I'm still working on 2014. A few venues on the tour that are amphitheatres have their own websites like DTE Music Center in Clarkston (owned by The Palace group, so they have a venue site for it). Do we put Wikipedia page links to the venues? They don't ever change (and the old names will redirect I think since some USA amphitheatres change their names all the time). The only reason that we didn't do the wiki stuff before for those venues is because it isn't an OFFICIAL site. The only wiki links you see for venues now are ones where like the venue doesn't exist anymore and a wiki page still exists...stuff like that. Any thoughts? I'd like to at least put something, but the Live Nation ones keep changing and I'm tempted to put the Wikipedia links for the venues. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cruzan_Amphitheatre For most of them, the wiki pages will link to the official websites so I think that's a good idea.
  23. Amsterdam likely looks like the spot of the LPU Summit since there is no M&G package.
  24. Did anyone get that recorded? I haven't seen it anywhere.
