Changing the show page notes in a second for you Soul, the band just confirmed the show. LOL @ posting they were playing 10 mins before. -
The only confirmation Mall is even happening (from the band's side) is the pic Joe posted on Instagram right? LOL

I bet the USA tour hits: NYC MSG LA Staples Atlanta Philips Cincinnati Bank Arena Houston + Dallas arenas maybe Nashville a few more northeast shows (Boston? Baltimore? DC?) something like New Mexico and Utah, and then Vegas and that's it

Linkin Park Playing Ventura, CA Vans Warped Tour

Yeah perhaps another ten song set + the 2 guests on Faint. We will see. Good time to do HT in full again, as a complete surprise Total troll of the LA fans. -
As we reported on June 16th, Linkin Park will be performing a "surprise" show at the Vans Warped Tour stop in Ventura, CA on June 22nd! We had to wait until today to post about the show since it is billed as a surprise set. Substream Magazine confirmed it with Warped Tour on the 21st. The venue will be Seaside Park (Ventura County Fairgrounds). Tickets are $37 (plus $6 fee), so if you're in the Los Angeles area, head out to see the show! In addition, Tyler and Michael of the band Issues are rumored to be joining the band for Faint at the show. It is unknown whether this will be a full show (headlining set) or an abbreviated set. The shows end at 9:00pm today, so make sure you get there sometime in the afternoon if you want to see the show. Who will be attending? This will be the last LA-area promo show for The Hunting Party in June.

Linkin Park announced on June 21st that they had released an exclusive version of The Hunting Party to Xbox Music with four live bonus tracks. These tracks are taken from the Carson, CA show on September 8th, 2012. This show at the Home Depot Center on the Honda Civic Tour was the highest grossing show in the band's history and is a fitting release. The Hunting Party (Xbox Deluxe Edition) (Live Bonus Tracks): 13 With You (Live in LA 9.8.12) [Exclusively on Xbox Music] 3:42 14 Lost in the Echo (Live in LA 9.8.12) [Exclusively on Xbox Music] 3:57 15 Numb (Live in LA 9.8.12) [Exclusively on Xbox Music] 3:17 16 Burn It Down (Live in LA 9.8.12) [Exclusively on Xbox Music] 3:57 This makes it the fourth show in 2012 to see an official release. The others are: 2012.06.03 Nürnberg (2 digital songs) 2012.06.05 Berlin (LT+ DVD; 4 songs cut) 2012.09.12 Monterrey (THP Bonus DVD; 11 songs only) You're already likely familiar with the show due to it being broadcasted in full in 2012. In case you missed it, we've linked up the YouTube video for you, and you can grab the DVD of it on lp-bits.org or in our download section of the forums. The four audio tracks are professionally mixed, of course. Ethan Mates is the man behind the mix for these, you're familiar with his extensive catalogue of mixing songs for the band too since LP almost always heads to Ethan or Pooch to mix live releases. Our overall thoughts... After Carson was rumored to be a bonus DVD with The Hunting Party (it ended up just being the Monterrey 2012 show), this is a good release for a few bonus tracks as Carson is one of just a few shows on the Honda Civic Tour without a DSP released for the show. While it would have been nice to have some new songs from the European Tour, there is no way that those could have been mixed in time because of the band's hectic traveling/touring schedule. Including With You is a sure-hit with hardcore fans (instead of releasing just four singles or four Living Things songs) and the other three songs are solid performances! While it would have been nice to have some songs from a 2013 show (maybe Sunset Strip Music Festival), it's not of the band's nature in present-day to release songs like that, so this is a solid 2012 show to release songs from!

Joe said it would be released in the fall. I do feel like this is the direction they would have gone in. I would have liked it a lot, yes, but not as much as THP. I like the loud, crazy music. But this sounds like that softer/more mainstream indie-popular type of music they were making earlier in the THP sessions in my opinion (just based on what the band has said about those songs). I like these clips a lot - I can't wait to hear the full songs. The last song with Mike singing sounds amazing. Holy Fiore troll with the lyrics for the first song appearing in the LP THP promo video! Maybe that song was a THP candidate.

A show in Belgium is confirmed! Hopefully the date comes out soon.

Linkin Park's outdoor Jimmy Kimmel Live concert on June 19th was canceled last week, but the band stuck around after the iHeartRadio Theater album release show for The Hunting Party on June 18th and performed three songs for Jimmy Kimmel. In the end (no pun intended), Until It's Gone was aired on television and all three songs (the other two being Guilty All The Same and Wastelands) were uploaded to the Jimmy Kimmel YouTube account. Here they are in full: Until It's Gone: Wastelands: Guilty All The Same: Enjoy!
-
All three of those tours had Chester cancel shows because he got sick. Let's hope they try for a different time of year this time.

Mike's Twitter commentary was cool once again!
-
Wow the 6th to the 17th is a good bit of time...I bet they add a ton of German shows. I wonder when the band will confirm them all.
-
Our great friends at BlackChester.de have posted about two shows in Germany that were just announced via radio station 1live! 06.11.2014 – Köln – Lanxess Arena 17.11.2014 – Oberhausen – König-Pilsner-Arena Stay tuned for more shows being announced shortly! This confirms that the band's European Tour will be in November!
-
I don't think Europe is in October, I think that's in November. I think they'll announce it this week. Plenty of time for South America in October!

2014.06.18 - Burbank, CA - iHeartRadio Theater

http://lplive.net/shows/db/2014/20140618 Show page is up, with the JKL songs. Yeah! Kudos to the band for playing all 3 new songs! I am a big fan of them at least making this up and doing 3 JKL songs - and all 3 are new songs. With a 6-8 song JKL set we'd just get these 3 plus 5 singles anyway. This works! Wastelands to me is like...a "medium" song. It's not garbage and it's not EPIC, but i do like it a lot. Good riff...good rapping...good screaming. But live it just JAMS baby, Chester explodes. It sounds great. I couldn't be more pleased with how the 3 new songs sound live - GATS, UIG and Wastelands all bring it. So much happier with these songs than I was with the LT songs. BID and LGM to me sucked live. Building it erp and then Chester not screaming the end of LGM. THP songs are kicking ASS! -

No no, they aren't going to play GATS twice tonight. They are filming for JKL after this show ASAP. I can't blame the band for that. But it is weird to do an album release show like this - iHeartRadio must be paying them a lot of money (Live Nation?) for this show. LP could easily play Staples Center or a smaller venue with a full show for the album release show. I am surprised they didn't. Tonight's set - meh. The band was alright. Chester I think you can tell when he plays a lot of shows in a row. He didn't seem to have this problem in Europe but maybe since he played KROQ and then this show, his voice seemed a tad bit off. Maybe that was just me. The crowd SUCKED once again...another lame USA crowd. LPU'ers too, this time. Standing like statues on Faint and then blowing up on ALTNC. I wasn't a big fan of the interview and then song and then interview thing. Whatever, it's just one show. They kicked ass and took names in Europe, and the KROQ show was good. Oh well. -

Linkin Park to Play Jimmy Kimmel Live on June 19th

LP will play a few songs tonight after the iheartradio show for JKL tomorrow. Not sure which venue it is. Might be same venue and they just play it afterward. Or maybe they set up somewhere smaller. -

On the 18th, Linkin Park performs their album release show for The Hunting Party when they perform at the new iHeartRadio Theater in Burbank, California. The band did not hold a release show for Living Things, so the last album release concert that they performed was for A Thousand Suns all the way back in September 2010 for A Thousand Suns, when they performed at the Best Buy Theater in New York City, NY. How was that already almost four years ago?! This show will feature another collaboration with SiriusXM for a broadcast, similar to the Third Encore set in 2012 (SiriusXM's Town Hall), where the station broadcasted the half-hour show for fans. The broadcast kicks off at 7:00pm PST / 10:00pm EST. Sirius says about the show, "The best part of all is no Linkin Park fan will miss out on all the action. The event will be broadcast live on-air as a 60-minute special on Clear Channel Alt, Active Rock, and Mainstream Rock Stations, as well as streamed online across CHR, Hot-AC, Alt, Active Rock, Mainstream Rock, and Sports station websites. Fans can also check out the live stream on iHeartRadio.com. Tune in at 7 p.m. PT/ 10 p.m. ET!" The "60-minute special" comment makes it sound like this show will only be an hour, but we won't really know how long the set is until the band takes the stage. Either Linkin Park is performing a full show, or they are doing a shortened deal just for radio. The only way to win entry to this show is via SiriusXM or the LPU, so this is sure to be another intimate set for fans. On the 17th, Linkin Park played a ten song set for KROQ Red Bull Sound Space in Los Angeles, where 200-250 LPU members and KROQ winners packed in to hear a great little set by the band. At this show, we can expect no other songs from The Hunting Party...those other new tracks will likely be saved for Carnivores Tour. If the band performs a shortened set, we expect a shorter version of the European Tour setlist similar to the KROQ show (which was 53 minutes, so maybe one or two more songs added to that). If a full set is done, you'll be sure to see the European Tour set start-to-finish! After this show, there is an "exclusive" performance for Jimmy Kimmel Live tomorrow. Since the outdoor show was canceled, JKL says that the band will record a few songs in another location to show on TV. This might mean that the band will set up somewhere tomorrow and record a few songs, or maybe they'll just take the songs from the show tonight to use. We will know tomorrow! The full 2014 touring schedule (including upcoming dates & past setlists) can be found here.
