  1. Perhaps the title track as "Chester tribute" moment at the show.
  2. Wow, guitars are LOUD
  3. Bands like Metallica or Megadeth whose singers have blown up their voices after years of abuse/mistreating, have lowered their songs like half step or even a whole step. What LP have done isn't very usual. At first I thought that it sounded like this due to a mixing problem!
  4. Seems like this is going to be a never ending topic until they manage to get Emily out of LP and she admiting that she's still in the cult
  5. They did, for 5 years, but Warner fucked it up
  6. Same with AC/DC and Axl Rose. When new singers are hardcore fans of the band they really motivate the old members and subsequently they played a few underlooked tracks live. I don't think they will play in this short run many more songs from the new record until it comes out and they are going to play long shows, the door is open to anything you can possibly imagine. From Forgotten to Keys to the Kingdom. Obviously they will choose tracks that fit Emily the best.
  7. 2007-2015 1h30min aprox 2017 1h45-50min aprox
  8. can we expect a 30 songs setlist then?
  9. Wonder why they didn't played 2 hours shows before. The OML tour came close, but they have the back catalogue to make a show diverse an don't get bored
  10. No chance to buy it later on?
  11. Couldn't have say it myself better
  12. Sound to me like health issues. He probably had them from long ago and tried up until last minute to see if it improved, but since not, he made the safe decision and stepped outside.
  13. You know when you wake up one day and you crave for a snack that you rarely eat, but for whatever reason all you can think about is that snack, and then, when you finally have it, you grab a couple of bites and immediately you don't want more? Well, that's The Hunting Party
  14. Here we fucking go: I'm gonna say it loud and clear, I think Scientology is a giant scam for rich people, full of human garbage, and more things I won't say because I don't wanna get banned. But I also believe in the "blame the game, not the gamer". Here's where things get full of layers, being in a cult is no joke. She might have been brainwashed her entire life and harassed that woman, defended that p*dophile and maybe have changed her ways. Believe it or not, many of us we've done awful stuff to other people, and feel remorse about it. I don't know if she regrets or not about all those acts, and since none of us know, we can just make wild speculations. Does being indoctrinated excuse any of her errors? No, but you live and you learn. There's no other way. One more thing. The band has already proved to be smart enough to, at least, make a background check of any new member. I don't think that this is going to ruin any of their plans
  15. I see him more open to be featured sometimes along the tour. But yeah, it's sad, two main pieces won't be on the stage.
  16. but PLEASE, don't make it a mess like the last time with 10 different versions of WID
  17. Still don't get the Brad situation, he isn't gonna perform live at all, not even eventually? Cause yesterday it sounded like a temporary fix
  18. That's why I mentioned about the "bad blood", I hope that distance doesn't mean anything bad, that he's really upset or something like that
  19. They'll probably do it in the tour. BTW, anyone else is surprised that Mike mentioned in the Billboard interview that they've been rehearsing Breaking the Habit?
  20. Probably, if they would have let anyone to sign up to the LPU after the announcement and get the benefits, they would probably collapse the pre-sale.
  21. Absolutely disappointed, they didn't gave us a Collision Course boxset for this worthless shit Just kidding. I didn't had any expectations, not good, not bad, just prepared for whatever may come after years of wild theories and made up stories. So I'm very happy with what we got. A new single which is an absolute banger, and it sounds like LP without being a copy-paste of any era. Not an indie-pop song, not an nostalgia nu metal track (which I would absolutely despised, if I want nu metal songs I have two boxsets and dozens of bootlegs), not a remake of MTM... Just something new but recognizable. About Emily, she has done it very well, she seems capable of doing anything from the back catalogue. After 7 years we have again a world full of possibilities. Obviously she's gonna perform some songs better thank others, and we all know that she will never be Chester, but wasn't that the point? Crawling was ok (but it's Crawling, what do you expect?), The Catalyst and Waiting for the End, nailed it. I hope they continue this road and we can see all kinds of tracks (well, maybe OML not...) performed live. The only thing that I don't get it yet is the new tuning, it's just me or it's too high? It's gonna take some time to get use to it. At last, regarding Rob, it's a shame but we all have been suspecting this outcome since 2020, so that softens the punch. I just hope that there's no bad blood between parts and maybe he could guest sometime in a couple of songs somewhere along the tour, but that's just wishful thinking.
  22. Love the purple design!!
  23. GREAT post, I don't think that's gonna be a show, just a presentation of new music, but anyway I'm nervous for whatever it's gonna happen!
  24. Same here, I have to be in the mood for LP. Last year I listened like the whole HT 2000-2002 and I got burnout until today. Right now I'm just listening other stuff when I have the time
  25. It wasn't a critique, just that it's totally crazy how perspective changes over time
