Someone please could tell me why this long feud between Shinoda and SOB?

IMO anything pre 90 has more chances to sound better or more appropiate on vinyl since it was the standard format of music and most of the recording methods were pretty much analogic. After that CD become the new reigning force and, again, everything was recorded thinking of putting into a CD. For quality purposes, if HT would have been released 15 years before, vinyl would have been the format to go. Anything else is aesthetic.

Got bittersweet feelings when this kind of recordings resurface. On one hand it's great to have them, like a new piece of history. On the other hand, it's like the LP world is stuck in the past, like an eternal loop of 2000/2017, and I feel like the entire world is on 2024 and we're stuck. I hope someday they announce anything and we can move on... Just a feeling, nothing else

Maybe because many people still considering that LP is Chester Bennington? Wanna talk about numbers? Compare views from instrumental versions with songs with voices. The hardcore fandom is big, but not as much as you think, which doesn't always translate into selling.

Because most people doesn't want it and won't buy it. Plain and simple.

Question: Is there any way to tell apart the CD versions that contains LOATR single version and album version? Something like a barcode. I'd like to have the former since it's 10/11 seconds shorter

I think it comes to a question of cost/benefit. Dealing with Roc Nation or whatever enterprise that has Jay Z's catalog for just an EP with barely any additional stuff, with the risk of being a commercial failure, isn't worth. LP hardcore fan base isn't so big as some people of this forum think. Yeah, Numb/Encore is quite popular, but nobody remember the remaining tracks. Besides, best case scenario, what can you throw on an hypothetical edition? The Roxy, Live 8 show and the MFR 05? That shit fits on one single DVD and it's just for us.

I was hoping to had the remaining Roxy show and the LPU5 tracks on CD, since are impossible to get nowadays. But after two massive boxsets, I can't complain. It would have been a cool bonus anyway!

How many songs we have that the band consider as just demos but from the outside are full fledged songs? MTM20 it's going to have a good chunk of those...
