  1. Cameo in Crank and the sequal. Died in Saw 3D. Wow... Tom Hanks has got some catching up to do!
  2. Real opinion: People have their own opinions on music. Get over it.
  3. "WE'RE HERE WITH YOU" Out everywhere in fall 2011
  4. Okay, we get the point, the whole forum knows you played on stage. You don't have to keep reminding us or look for ways to somehow slip it into the conversation. I'm happy for you and all, but we get the point.
  5. The first mix of the album has been sent to the record label companies. The album is complete but not by official grounds. All the JK Europe shows have been online for quite some time, however, there were NO pro-shot or SBD recordings of any show.
  6. Linkin Park has remixed 'Iridescent' and submitted it for inclusion on the next Transformers movie - Transformers 3. SomeKindOfAwesome, a popular site many of you are familiar with, got the track today and now has it for your listening pleasure! Check it out here. What do you think? How does this compare to the original 'Iridescent' off of 'A Thousand Suns'? EDIT: Mike's comment on this IRIDESCENT: TRANSFORMERS 3 SINGLE APRIL 13, 2011 A few months ago, I got on the phone with Michael Bay, who wanted to discuss the possibility of our band continuing our run with songs paired with the Transformers films. We (he, his team, and our band) all have enjoyed working together on the past two, and he wanted to discuss the ideas we might have for Transformers 3: Dark Of The Moon. In particular, one song came up immediately. Ever since we started playing Iridescent live, the song has been a fan favorite at the show. For the film, there’s a new, slightly shorter version of the song, which is floating around the internet now. We’ll be shooting a video for the song tomorrow, directed by Joe Hahn.
  7. LPL members = pro's at overkill.
  8. Meh, can't really bounce back from that reply. It was pretty clever.
  9. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure he's not here telling us the incorrect prices of them. You're here telling us something you believe is factual, but it turns out you're wrong - that does affect the first impression of your intelligence. Again, as above. Plus, long words justify nothing. So you're telling them not to judge? Like you judge MMA as being fake? So isn't this kinda hypocrisy?
  10. They CAN leave if, when new management falls into place, the contract itself changes. It's then in Linkin Park's right to terminate the contract upon unfavoured change.
  11. I wonder if anything you've ever said on here hasn't been a lie.
  12. Linkin Park Nine Inch Nails Placebo Pendulum Billy Talent Julien-K Zebrahead My Passion Delta Fiasco Mayfield
  13. Why don't you wait for LP to post a Facebook update and bombard it with "COME TO INDIA!" Might do the trick.
  14. Just went into "Linkin Park" on my iPhone, shuffled it, the first song that come on was Untitled (In The End demo) - so that!
  15. I was a member of LPU-International, when Wil Vincent ran it. Eventually, that site turned into LPL.
  16. I have a white pick from 02 Arena 2008 from Brad, with his face and sig on it, will scan soon. Also have an LP logo one from Ryan Shuck during the Julien-K European Tour (they couldn't find their JK picks before leaving for the tour.)
  17. My December is the next single!!!
  18. Sauce that says BITS charted:
  19. I find it hard to believe this post at all. I've met several workers at Warner Music, fuck, I even sat in their office with GigaScythe for 2 hours eating pizza and drinking Coca Cola with them, listening to Out Of Ashes months before the release. They would not be happy to share all this information you have told us, nor are they as informed or as prepared as you have made them out to be. I'm not openly calling you a liar, but from my experiences with the company (which I must stress that has been on than one occasion), they would not give this kind of information out - they wouldn't even be informed on this information fully themselves, or remember it all from the top of their heads, surely.
  20. "Snow covered home" Any of you guys seen snow in Australia in December? it just doesn't happen!
  21. Explains why it sounded a little messy when I was hitting all the strings. Even avoiding the B on the first bar sounds pretty solid too.
  22. Also, the guitar part is played with a capo on 8th fret, which I believe the studio is played without a capo (standard tuning) - and the chords are slightly altered. Astat could correct me on that though. From what I gathered, the 4 chords are: (capo on 8 / 8 bars repeated in the pattern of 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 4, 4). 1: E--8-- B--11-- G--8-- D--8-- A--10-- E--11-- 2: E--8-- B--11-- G--10-- D--8-- A--8-- E--8-- 3: E--8-- B--11-- G--8-- D--10-- A--10-- E--8-- 4: E--8-- B--11-- G--8-- D--10-- A--11-- E--8-- Though, again, sure I'm wrong.
  23. 1. I believe 1996/1997. The LPU9 version could just have been a sample/structure demo that was planned to be in the finished product. They probably tried hundreds of different samples and layers before deciding on the final version of the song. 2. "SuperXero" was roughly 1998/1999. Sad is labelled as 1999. Same as above applies here I guess. No-one knows the "Oh No" recording date but as Astat once stated, it's believed to be the first stages of POA. 3. We don't know. Maybe some demo's were written as Xero but we cannot confirm this. 4. There was 2 baby paintings. Xero and HTEP. If I remember right, there's a 3rd baby inside the HTEP.
  24. WHAT?! Why couldn't they have been UK support. Amazing band!
