  1. My new current Top 10- Numb Iridescent Castle of Glass A Place for My Head The Little Things Give You Away Don't Stay And One Skin to Bone When They Come for Me My December
  2. Add Castle of Glass before No More Sorrow as some brief relief and I'm sold That would be the most mosh-happy LP setlist ever, we'd need a break in the middle!
  3. Yay, Skin to Bone buddy! Behind Castle of Glass it's my favourite song on the album, such a cool vibe.
  4. For several of my favourite artists I compile a playlist that would be my 80 minute "best of" album for that artist. This is my recently updated LP playlist- 1. Opening (from Reanimation) 2. One Step Closer 3. In My Remains 4. Wretches and Kings 5. Faint 6. Papercut 7. Skin to Bone 8. Jornada Del Muerto 9. Waiting for the End 10. A Place for My Head 11. Given Up 12. Roads Untraveled 13. Breaking the Habit 14. In the End 15. Leave Out all the Rest 16. When They Come for Me 17. Burn it Down 18. Foreword 19. Don’t Stay 20. With You 21. The Little Things Give You Away 22. Iridescent 23. Castle of Glass 24. Numb
  5. Hybrid Theory EP It's easy to just listen to quickly as it's only 20 minutes long or whatever.
  6. Any Deftones fans out there? The "gone, gone, gone" bit at the end of the chorus of Lost in the Echo reminds me so much of the bridge of Passenger. Am I the only one that loves Skin to Bone? It's got almost like a vaudeville vibe but done in an electro style, for me it's the album's hidden gem.
  7. (These may well change) BEST: Castle of Glass, Skin to Bone GOOD: Lost in the Echo, In My Remains, Burn it Down, I'll Be Gone, Roads Untravelled AVERAGE: Lies Greed Misery, Victimized, Tinfoil, Powerless WORST: Until It Breaks (sorry Brad!)

  9. Loving the record as a whole, will post my review in the appropriate place after more listening. I will say, though, that Castle of Glass is absolutely amazing. It's funny how with every LP record (and most records from my favourite bands) there is one song that stands out to me as utterly fantastic, and COG is definitely this record's "Iridescent".
  10. They won't drop Numb. There's now way they'd keep Runaway and drop Numb.
  11. It sounds... nothing like it. On a more important note... DAFUQ IS THIS?
  12. Anyone voting for Little Things has a very strange idea of what a single should be. I voted for Pushing Me Away and Wretches- the former as I think it would be a great radio song, the latter because I think it would have been a better advance single than The Catalyst.
  13. But Mike's screaming apparently sounds like a dying hedgehog, or something to that effect. This is one of the best threads on this site since the Hot Girls in Music one
  14. I heard In the End on a YouTube video, and Chester's voice and the hooks just captivated me in a way music never had before. I kept going back to watch that video again and again just for the song, 'til I found out what it was and delved into the Linkin Park catalogue (they'd just released MTM). Linkin Park were the first band that got me really into music, before that I appreciated certain bands but LP were the first one I LOVED. Even if my love for their music fades one day, they'll always be a special band to me. Hybrid Theory was the first album I ever bought, and remains in my Top 5 to this day.
  15. http://sputnikmusic.com/review/50312/Linki...-Living-Things/ A review (not mine, still resisting listening!). Interestingly, the guy was a fan of the nu metal days, and hated MTM and ATS, but loves this album. Encouraging perhaps that it may draw some astray "fans" back to the band.
  16. Wow, so many guests. Sign up and join the party!
  17. Excellent, I missed it. No temptation for me!
  18. Crushing the hopes and dreams of many So hyped for this album now. Really looking forward to hearing Lost in the Echo and Castle of Glass in particular.
  19. Waiting for the leak to come, so I can ignore it, though, Everyone else will no doubt Listen to it anywaaaaaaay
  20. Really looking forward to it now. From what we've heard so far, this could prove to be the definitive Linkin Park record.
  21. Over half the songs on A Thousand Suns have guitar on them. Sometimes it was used subtly, but was nonetheless there. It's not a guitar oriented album by any means, but frankly neither is much of Minutes to Midnight.
