  1. Slayer are awful live now, so that won't be a problem haha. Interesting to see how well B4MV go down, considering how bad their new record is...
  2. I assume you meant Sum 41? (an easy mistake to make...)The funniest thing was the few seconds where they didn't realise they'd been cut
  3. 75 Minute Soundwave Set: 00) Tinfoil 01) Faint 02) Papercut 03) What I've Done 04) Lost in the Echo 05) Numb (2004 Guitar Intro- they really should bring it back) 06) Victimized/QWERTY 07) Given Up 08) Waiting for the End (Apaches Intro) 09) Castle of Glass 10) Breaking the Habit 11) Burn it Down 12) In the End 13) The Catalyst 14) New Divide 15) Bleed It Out 16) One Step Closer Yeah, it's pretty much all singles but it's a festival, that's what they've got to do. High energy, bish bash bosh. For their own Sidewave shows- 01) A Place for My Head 02) Lost in the Echo 03) Numb (2004 Guitar Intro) 04) Victimized/QWERTY 05) Given Up 06) Papercut 07) In My Remains 08) Waiting for the End (Apaches Intro) 09) Breaking the Habit 10) Castle of Glass 11) Shadow of the Day 12) P5hng Me A*wy 13) I’ll Be Gone 14) What I’ve Done 15) New Divide 16) Burn it Down 17) In the End 18) Faint ======================== 19) Powerless (Tinfoil Intro) 20) The Catalyst 21) Bleed It Out 22) One Step Closer Cut Crawling in favour of the Pushing Remix (we can but dream) and bring in new songs I'll Be Gone and Powerless. As you can see, in both sets I'm getting Numb over with quickly, and omitting LGM completely.
  4. Plus Metallica's songs are mostly about 7 minutes long...
  5. You just answered your own question. I seriously doubt the band will leave Warner. They give them plenty of room to spread out and complete creative control, and while perhaps they didn't put their all behind promoting Living Things, the band don't seem to be either, with only a couple of short tours last year backing the record and only a couple more short tours scheduled for this year. They said they'd be touring less, yes, but there's a difference between touring less and barely touring at all (I'll happily eat these words if the spring European tour ever gets announced haha).
  6. New Fort Minor would be nice, but only if a new LP album followed reasonably quickly afterward haha.
  7. Green Day have done it, but that was a CD collection.
  8. Yeah, for about a year Linkin Park were the only band I listened to, at all. It was only when I got into Green Day and My Chemical Romance ('bout summer of 2008 I think) that LP didn't take up all my listening attention. They remain my favourite band to this day.
  9. Chester, Y U no always sing One Step Closer like that? I joke, I joke. But it was a badass performance, I love that they even added the extended outro.
  10. This. For most vocalists that scream, performance is more up-and-down than just singing as it can put a lot of pressure on your voice and you don't want to destroy it for the rest of the tour.
  11. I'll be interested to see how long they get to play at Soundwave, considering they're on before Metallica who play for at least 2 hours every show. May be that the set gets shortened a bit.
  12. In almost every band, there's one or two members who write pretty much all the songs before the other band members even hear them. Things get done quicker that way. Mike writes the main body of pretty much all LP's songs in the same way that Matt Bellamy in Muse, BJ Armstrong in Green Day or Jeremy McKinnon in A Day to Remember do in their respective bands- that doesn't mean the other band members aren't really part of Linkin Park.
  13. Whenever they play In Pieces, Chester sounds constipated. It's sad but true. Great song on record, doesn't work live.
  14. You gotta admit, that's be pretty damn awful to see.
  15. After opening acts Brokencyde, Blood on the Dance Floor and Nickelback: 01) In Between (like the song, but it would be the worst opener ever haha) 02) Enth E Nd 03) Frgt/10 04) H! Vltg3 05) Shadow of the Day 06) Enth E Nd 07) The Messenger 08) In Pieces 09) Empty Spaces 10) Sweet Child O' Mine 11) Lies Greed Misery 12) Not Alone 13) Enth E Nd 14) Issho Ni 15) Robot Boy (Nu Metal Version) 16) A.06 (Acoustic) 17) Enth E Nd (Acoustic) 18) Foreword Encore: Collision Course in Full
  16. The LP Facebook page says that this will be the band’s only North American show in 2013 (aside from the Grammys, one would assume). That's depressing for US fans.
  17. A great performance. Chester's singing on the last chorus is fantastic, brings a whole new dimension to it. Was it Joe who messed up the intro?
  18. The Minutes to Midnight on my iTunes is the same as the original, but with Across the Line and No Roads Left sandwiching In Pieces. Breaks some of the monotony of the "official" version, and at the same time isn't overlong. And for the record, ATS >>>>>>>>>>>>>> MTM
  19. They're in 7/4 or 7/8, I have no idea how to tell between the two. Funny, I never realised it was such an unusual timing- is that the first time LP have done music in 7?
  20. Are you suggesting the band tour solely to produce exciting DSPs for the people who don't go to their shows?
  21. Is it all being streamed/recorded? I want to laugh at Bush.
