or perhaps these dates are clear for LP/30STM to do individual sideshows? something that can't be advertised as part of this tour because it's only one of the two playing a date here and there? :fingerscrossed:

to be fair, vyrt is his platform.. the fans in the chat are all going to be the mars bunch - it's to be expected that it'd be the Leto show for that stream

saw them last year and don't remember those long gaps in songs where choruses etc should have been. I only went to one date, so granted, I may have just picked a good night.

This is a pretty decent line-up.. Mars waste alot of time with stage theatrics like acrobats during changeovers but hey - it's fun, and at least they try to make the show interesting, and talk to the audience instead of the usual "thanks you guys", "how's X/Y doing tonight?" (ahemCHESTERahem). I actually think Jared's not too bad live if he can just stand still long enough. just my $0.02.. I do think a co-headline is likely, if not a fairly big set for 30stm. they are massive right now, and that graphic (if it is anything to base an entire tour upon..) shows them on a similar level, like headliners on two separate days of a festval, or co-s on a split tour. but, this is all happening in the US, so it doesn't really affect me either way.

this would certainly help with leak prevention too. I can see why bands/artists are doing this - remember Mike's post about at least making a special occasion out of a pirated copy? I can see LP taking a similar route to Coldplay and Beyonce here

don't most of the EU sonisphere's have all their headliners & subs already? UK festivals pretty much don't stream. it's a ton of money to do and the promoters would rather encourage people to be there. it sucks for everyone else, but that's why they do it. I doubt this'll happen, it'd be cool, but I don't think the band seem to care enough to bother. the DSPs have stopped and the ATS/LT+ shows were just "lets take a show that was already recorded and put out a special edition". they seem to have just lost their drive to put out live releases. LP seem to be constantly trying to shake off HT and Meteora, since it makes them just a nostalgia act. the 6th album is in progress and LP are probably way more keen on promoting that than something that they all seem to hate, but that promoters want to use to sell tickets. As it was said earlier, they did very little to celebrate 10 years of HT (and Meteora) and I feel like they're just busy pushing onwards to stay relevant, which is great, I'm sue a lot of us would be sad to see them retire (except Joe_LP... ) but to most people they'll always be that "man, I was so hooked on them when I was a kid, I had spiked, red hair back then" bands, and they clearly fucking hate that fact

Dont stay etc. won't come back.. non-single, meteora - long gone! would be cool to have back though, I do like that build-up intro they usd to do in 04 on another note - how long do we reckon ALTNC will stay in the set? I'd quite like to see it live, but I can't see it sticking around for very long..

sucks that there isn't. I can see why the CD is in a slipcase (environmentally friendly, cheaper to produce etc.) but it doesn't leave room for a little booklet to go with the CD, also a bit disappointing that the insert doesn't even have anything other than writer's credits..

and those songs that feature "gutarzz omg back 2 hibrid thery" can always have said guitar destroyed in the mix.. YAY
