absolutely no problems at all mate glad you enjoyed it! should look/sound great when mixed with the DSP audio! no probs dude! still working on 'burning in the skies'... at the moment i'm juggling a few fan requests as well as getting the entire brisbane show to an LPLiver who is going to mix it with the DSP audio last night i opted to upload faint live in perth with monty on guitar (mixed with DSP audio) as i'd promised him i'd work on that as well

haha yep i've done that before with new divide - turned an LP hater into an LP... well... liker, not so much a lover haha the dude ended up shooting them when they played in perth too - his pics were used in local media i'm glad everyone is referencing the RATM campaign - that was absolutely brilliant and i'm so glad they coordinated something like that epic win!

absolutely, but i see music as a communal thing... i enjoy it more when i can share it with friends/family/etc... just like when you hear one of your favourite songs being played on the radio - gives you a bit of a kick because you know that many other people are hearing/enjoying it at the same time. someone once made a comparison to it being like one of your favourite sports teams winning a grand final. so while it doesn't add to the music or affect it in that way... i guess it's good to see your favourite band getting some recognition amongst people other than yourself

to say that surprised me is definitely an understatement... plus i was under the impression the entire thing was going to be shown? maybe that's still to come? they sounded absolutely superb (the instrumentation at the very least ;D) so it'd be a shame not to hear it... though I think i may have recorded it too so will go through my files and have a look. oh and kurt... lol! what do i upgrade to if i make the cut on the sydney one too?! eeek!

see that's why i thought WFTE would be a huge hit on the charts... i thought it was the most 'pop' song on the record. i think BITS should do pretty well though

Hey guys, As you're probably aware, Waiting For The End isn't going as well on the charts as I think we all expected it to do... In Australia, the song hasn't even charted in the top 50 at all! - despite the fact that IMO (and many others'), it is one of the strongest singles on the album. So I came up with this idea... some of you may not agree with it, but I think if enough people are keen to give it a crack, we may be able to make at least a partial bit of difference. The idea is that on one pre-planned/set date... you go onto either iTunes or any other equivalent legal downloading program/site and purchase as many copies of the song (on its own) that you can afford. It doesn't have to be a lot, it could even just be once - but if a large number of people do it on the same day - there's the chance we could make a bit of an impact. I know it's going to be different from country to country - but in Australia at least - there have been weeks were the number one single on the charts was lucky to get a couple of thousand purchases in the week preceding... so just imagine the impact a few hundred/thousand LP fans could have with Waiting For The End? The plan doesn't stop there however... what would really help our cause is to request the song on as many radio and television stations that day as possible. Imagine the same station receiving dozens of requests to play that song on that day? Surely they couldn't ignore that! Anyways, I'll leave it open for discussion... I thought Christmas Eve would be a good day to do this, but given it's quite close, maybe we could all aim for New Year's Eve?

haha yep it's mike had an absolute ball... after going to the london one and the VIP experiences around australia - some of it lost it's impact on the night - but i tell you what... going through the video last night and showing people at home made me realise just how special the whole thing really was - truly a once (or twice ) in a lifetime experience. working on the videos still guys... my net at home is giving me the absolute SH*TS!

anyone else experiencing problems with their downloads? i bought 10 copies of the CD-R - one for every show i attended - but one or two of my codes said they'd already been used (so far! haven't tested all of them)... and my perth download stuffed up the cover art is corrupt

and i just got totally pwnd in sydney by the "guy who bought 400 tickets" haha! yeh he bought that much! said he was on holiday and he wasn't going to be buying anything else so why not... i'd do the same! haha

i am honestly shocked the WFTE didn't set the charts on fire in australia - it's exactly the kind of thing the pop market would eat up these days but for some reason it just didn't catch on? bit devastated about that - thought it would have been the track that would give the album a major sales boost. it's for that reason i'm now expecting burning in the skies might actually do it - definitely a radio single and it seems to have had a bit of success in australia without being officially released yet so who knows. like the song, and was impressed with it live. but yeh, could definitely hear W&K/iridescent being future singles. (blackout would be awesome-o as well )

he did!!! he flew over from south africa to attend the summit - good on him! i told him i would have done the same (and, well... did essentially). im still a bit annoyed about the blonde chick running the show... she was letting people who won multiple times choose which prize they wanted to keep, but for some reason, when it got to me, suddenly i wasn't allowed to do it - so i missed out on the one on one (see: six), photo with the band... if id known she was going to change the rules halfway through i would have kept my mouth shut when i realised id won the photo pit pass. all good though - i won't complain - the experiences i got to... well... experience over the past 6 weeks have been absolutely incredible, and to be honest, a personal photo with the band won't change any of that. i've got some incredible videos to share with you guys once i've caught up on sleep/hygiene/work/you know, the usual day to day life stuff! (but i WILL get started on some tonight ) EDIT: michalangelo, which guy were you man?!

wish wish wish i was going to this show instead im back busting my @$$ off at work... boohoo! kurtis is on the ball though so i expect we'll be seeing tweets fly through quickly - just remember to enjoy the show as well though dude! (a few times i was getting far too caught up in my phone rather than watching the show!)
