he did!!! he flew over from south africa to attend the summit - good on him! i told him i would have done the same (and, well... did essentially). im still a bit annoyed about the blonde chick running the show... she was letting people who won multiple times choose which prize they wanted to keep, but for some reason, when it got to me, suddenly i wasn't allowed to do it - so i missed out on the one on one (see: six), photo with the band... if id known she was going to change the rules halfway through i would have kept my mouth shut when i realised id won the photo pit pass. all good though - i won't complain - the experiences i got to... well... experience over the past 6 weeks have been absolutely incredible, and to be honest, a personal photo with the band won't change any of that. i've got some incredible videos to share with you guys once i've caught up on sleep/hygiene/work/you know, the usual day to day life stuff! (but i WILL get started on some tonight ) EDIT: michalangelo, which guy were you man?!

wish wish wish i was going to this show instead im back busting my @$$ off at work... boohoo! kurtis is on the ball though so i expect we'll be seeing tweets fly through quickly - just remember to enjoy the show as well though dude! (a few times i was getting far too caught up in my phone rather than watching the show!)

lol! the people at the front selling the tickets were definitely shocked. i actually lost count after the 6th ticket of mine was called! luckily they didn't all go to waste... i got to give one to my brother and another to the lady who was in a wheelchair. oh you have no idea how much i'd love to go to the chicago one but i think if i take any more leave from work i may actually have no job to come back to haha. my boss has been pretty tolerable so far, so i definitely wouldn't wanna push it!

comon dude, you're being a little melodramatic... that was ONE song. the effects layered over his voice on it were barely noticeable anyways. all i'm saying is the general consensus seemed to be the polar opposite of your opinion. you're entitled to have one, as we all are... i'm just stating the fact that it is a minority opinion.

unfortunately the videos don't really do justice to either song - particularly burning in the skies (as i'm sure you've noticed ) in my opinion - burning in the skies was played better - but that would make sense since they have apparently been rehearsing it a lot longer than they've been rehearsing blackout. mate and i were more excited to see blackout - but we definitely noticed a few 'mistakes' - absolutely nothing major, whereas i thought burning in the skies was nearly flawless. both were great live and i certainly wasn't expecting BitS after confirming that blackout was going to be played! glad you all enjoyed the videos! i'll try get a better one for you on wednesday night of each.

oh that was last night oh... btw... BitS: (please remember what i said about the second half of the video before complaining! hehe)

absolutely no problem. BitS is about 15 minutes off - nowhere near as nice quality as this one but was the best i could do unfortunately. hopefully will be able to provide something nicer come wednesday

which should be accessible here: any minute now. i'm also going to leave burning in the skies uploading. i have to give you all an advanced warning - i only got the first minute or so of BITS on my good camera - the second half was captured with my iphone so pretty nasty audio quality, but gives you a good idea of how it was played live enjoy guys, im off to get some sleep!

could use a bit of that to fill in one of my small gaps. mine is about 3 minutes off finishing uploading - quality is... well, a bit nicer than that one but the sound isn't bad on that one

eeek. there's about 20-30 seconds missing due to battery change - i was going to record that song only but i had no idea when it would be coming up or if there'd be any other new stuff - so i tried to record from the beginning of the set and go as far as i could video on its way

coming guys fair chance you may have to wait a bit longer for BITS - im literally falling asleep at the laptop here just cracked an energy drink to get through blackout for you - plus, my camera went dead during BITS as well - so half of it was on the iphone - hardly what i'd consider good quality anyways, should be done soon

absolutely incredible hey. it made me view the show in an entirely different light actually... seeing this guy performing and knowing that his little kids were watching him somewhere in the stands just made me see it in a completely new way.
