On Chester's case, a little falsetto is used because his voice is alto as in New Divide live shows. He is not really capable in forcing energy in high notes now. Oh well, I didn't learn much about singing. I suck in singing, if you ask me.

Seriously and hopefully, the DSPs are mixed with improvement. I hate Brad's guitar sounds most of all. But luckily I prefer DSP than bootleg. DSP at January! I love to hear more TLTGYA and Given Up. G'day.

Once again, Astat made a perfect point there. No Crawl Back In is aired on my country's radio stations. Fort Minor songs are aired heavily during the release of Rising Tied. Have to blame DBS's poor music videos, too. Crawl Back In is a weird one. Let Down is even weirder (from a non-fan's point of view). But as a fan I like them as well as OOA.

The Little Things Give You Away has Chester singing audibly in falsetto. But Mike has a lower tone. Mike goes on more falsetto. High pitch means singing in soprano - for example: chorus in New Divide Low pitch means singing in somewhere between tenor and alto - for example: verses of Crawling or a bit of LOATR

They must have had an alternative software, or the older version of Pro Tools which doesn't have any bug. Astat is being logical. Mike ain't sitting around doing nothing.

I'm not complaining about the DSP... Aiman stated it for me - as long they are not bootlegs, which is painful to my ears. DBS is going down near to a failure stage. I expect Chester to make DBS a higher priority for a while so that there will be AWESOME changes. Bleed it Out is the last rapcore song they've ever done. I miss Nu Metal pretty much.

- Chester sounded quite bad on live these days. I remember when at 2001 House of Blues when he blasted full volume and energy into the mic. Dead by Sunrise live is not getting along well because Chester held back a lot. Studio version of Numb is totally different from live. Shadow of the Day and What I've Done have weak solos. In Pieces, in worldwide, is merely 'just another solo'. Lousy guitar sounds, though; raw and not much of a distorted guitar used by modern rock stars. About DSP, I find the guitars annoying. They are sort of sharp and less distorted. I like the guitars in Third Encore / Live in Texas 2003; they are stereo and heavily distorted. On certain shows, Chester will let the crowd sing like LFY, OSC or ITE. They are as though distant and not loud. The bass part is distorted.

Digidesign is unable to solve the problem, they flake. Technical difficulties that only Digidesign can fix, no doubt.

No thanks. Convert to MIDI I have an alternative MIDI program that reads MIDI and it has a very messy conversion. If possible, don't just double tracks. BTW, My Guitar Pro is gone with all the DSP live from linkinparkmedia and a great bunch of LP Midis because I meddled with the hard disk and burned a wire accidentally XD

'album of the year' is a phrase that reminds me of 2010. Well, good luck to Linkin Park. MTM, in my opinion, is as good as the previous ones.

Maybe Fort Minor once Mike is done with the record plus the things mentioned by Mark? That'll be beyond heaven! I seriously confess that I'm brilliantly excited about 2010 ! LP fans are the best consumers.

Ultimately saying, let them do their work until they finish it on their own. Don't barrage them with sentences like 'OMG You guys take too long to produce one album!!'. They are professional musicians and they know what to do. In fact, they have plans. Mike decided to sing in MTM because to make it special. Maybe Phoenix sings for the next album? LoL joking.

Nah I find all the demos good. And One is nice to me but not too nice for you. Dedicated, QWERTY, And One are unreleased songs, my mistake. Esaul, Plaster, Vertical Limit, and early versions of Crawling and In the End are demos and can be found in YouTube.

Hmm... with all these posts I can round up a bit of things. 1) Linkin Park takes fucking too long to produce an album because they focus on live tours. Because of that, respect and popularity deteriorated despite the live shows. A lot of great artists did not go live frequently because they focus on albums. Which side are you on? 2) Linkin Park wants their music to be very special. That's why they produce it very slowly. 3) Michelbeats's post makes sense. 4) ND is released quickly because it contained most of the elements in M2M. They mastered the format and had not much trouble doing it. 5) LP Underground albums play a part in keeping us from boredom. 6. Meteora -> M2M = Super long experimenting time (Can't blame them) 7. Rushing sucks - turns the music crappier than M2M Finally, after all, Mike said that the new album will be electronic rock and newer. Patience is our friend.
