I think they should take notes from other remix contest, last year i've entered 4 remix and everyone could enter, and i mean any country! Many fans are going to be disapointed, i'm one of them.

Well i hope they will upload the files as wave files, i rather remix the track in my own daw.

Haven't tried it yet to be honest. If they're not allowing to download the tracks and give your twist to the song and use the site they gave us, i think it's really limiting for alot of musicians here, since we all used using our daws and know the in's and outs about it.

Mike really stepped up his production game, from the start i knew he didn't sampled anything, just amazing how the instrumental track sounded like he sampled a song from vinyl.

I think the unreleased song is from the minutes to midnight sessions if i'm not mistaking you can hear a small portion of that song when brad is talking about the strings and just before the end of that 'strings" part you see a guy playing a instrument and then it stops. you just gotta watch it maybe you'll hear it 2 check out the minutes to midnight dvd

I guess they're still living in the past, as far pulling video of Youtube, Mtv isn't playing music video anymore, they changed their logo for crying out loud, and are focusing on reality shows etc. If Warner again pulls video's of Youtube i guess people who cover lp's songs are f*cked. I don't know what their strategy is, but seriously no more streaming means their artist won't make any buzz no more. Damn is it so hard to understand if a girl or guy likes a song they tell their friends about it to check it out (Free promotion) Promotion is $$$ Thumps up for warner F*ckin' it up

so called fans who are whining about lp isn't putting enough songs out there aren't fans yes i said it and probally going to get hated for it. Be glad they are releasing songs, i am! I'm glad to hear individual lp members on other projects like Mikes production on the Apathy album or Chesters vocals on "Slow Your Roll" from Young buck. or Brads solo on "We Made It" And i totally agree with Numbrocker. Some of them got kids! and clearly some "fans" who are dying to hear some new Fort Minor stuff haven't listened closely to "The Rising Tied" because Mike wrote a song called "Where'd You Go" at the end of the day they're humans 2 with a family! in what sense is MJ overrated ?cause Thriller is the best sold album off all time and no one is going to top that. Pac was also a good lyricist despite all the controversy and certain subject matter.

didn't feel like reading every post, anyways this is getting really out of hand "we want new lp we want new lp" you just gotta wait period!!! damn... if you're not into making music yourself, you don't know the half of the time blood sweat energy goes into it. not to mention making promotion plans etc. put yourself in their position for a minute. I'm already satisfied with the music that has been coming out, yeah i'm talking about the remixes aswell. I'ma fan of LP but i'm also into other artist like Eminem or Busta Rhymes 2 name just a few, not JUST LP. i got plenty of good music to keep myself busy and satisfied. Some fans just need to grow up and just wait for when the album drops, simple damn!! Dr Dre stated that detox should come out like over 4 years ago and still didn't happend fans were like we'll see whenever it comes, no ones is b*tchin' about it anymore just my 2 cents!

Mike is right! It's really hard to describe how the album may or going to sound like Mike posted last year some updates on what type of seeds he's been working on one of 1 kinda sounded like Santigold meets Postal Service meets At The Drive In. He and Joe has been making beats, he's been writing raps also all of them have been coming up with something. I really like reading interviews regarding LP's new album, it's like a puzzle to me haha, figuring out how the album will sound like.
