  1. I'm surprised nobody mentioned the "happy accident" during What Ive done solo. You can see, phoenix smiling, brad smiling and later on mike. Rob really picked it up fast.
  2. I am seriously pumped up for the album!
  3. Here's a alternative host! 4shared sux! LINK REMOVED
  4. Despite the screw ups and technical difficulties, the band was pact with TREMENDOUS energy!
  5. Quote from Mike himself: "Fuck you! You do better". Go form a band... I'm out!
  6. Go easy on Brad.. damn... smh. That what i've done solo was incredible tho.
  7. Yep. Looks like he rather plays behind the stage rather on stage. His stage presence REALLY toned down over the years. But yea, they're getting older.
  8. Too bad there's no Victimized/Qwerty. But this setlist is incredible nevertheless. One off topic question: What made the band decide to compose songs with Drop D tuning instead of Drop D halfstep on this album?
  9. Damnit!! Really enjoyed the Making Of... Dvd. This ish blows! Wonder why they went for this approach... I feel like especially now, they have something to say about rock music, they could show us fans the process that went into making those songs. And why certain songs sound the way they sound. I just hope the Making Of.. isn't a 15 minutes episode. That would suck. Talk about unconventional methods smh
  10. I love all LP albums. From Hybrid Theory to Living Things. To me, when i heard Hybrid Theory is was 12 at the time, and i was "What The Fuck is this??" (In a good way) Back then i've never heard something like that. Fast forward till now, even though i don't play it that much, i've grown with the band album releases, im open minded to hear what they'll offer. I'm not gonna say, "oh that album sucks (insert name... is better). Exit the Bitchfest people, there are no bands even playing at Bitchfest 2014! Just fans verbally fighting eachother. Who pays a ticket to see that?
  11. Can they hold on to this new energy/inspiration for rock music on the next album? I like their mindset, but at the same time, it would be weird if they went full blown electronics on the next album.
  12. I think everybody pretty much agrees to drop "Numb". To me that song has been played sooo many times, it's played out. (ha..ha..) Songs We Need To See More Of A.06, Qwerty, Forgotton, Victimized, And One, P5shng Me A*wy, By Myself, Lying From You, Papercut, Wretches and Kings, The Catalyst, Given Up, Pretend To Be, Across The Line, Songs The Band Has Been Nailing Live Faint, One Step Closer, Bleed It Out, What I've Done, Lying From You, Papercut, Qwerty, Shove It (Deftones cover) Wish (Nine Inch Nails cover) Songs That Should Admittedly Take A Break Numb, In The End, Castle Of Glass, Ballad Medley, Burn It Down, Breaking The Habit Songs That Would Be Gladly Welcomed Back A.06, And One, Qwerty, Forgotton, Hiphop Medley, From The Inside, By Myself, A Place For My Head, The Wake 2.0. Songs That could be performed better Victimized, Lost In The Echo
  13. Talk about unconventional marketing tactics... lol
  14. Mission accomplished. They're definitely teasing me lol
  15. Interesting interview for all the gear heads who are curious what LP is using on this album. Brad Delson goes in depth on the gear he is using and the process. http://www.premierguitar.com/articles/2071...kin-park?page=1
  16. He has to now! Now that Rakim raised the bar. I hope the emcee in him, gets inspired to delivery nothing but flames over and over again! Even though it's going to be a rock record with few rap verses, i just hope those verses are something we might put in that "Reading My Eyes", "Papercut" etc catagory.
  17. I would love Mike to go technical again. Lately his flows been too simpel, compared to their early material. If Rob steps up his drumming, than the lyrical department could use a serious step up aswell
  18. Not really a big fan of the artwork. It really reminds me of Living Things meets Recharged. I was expecting something more unique. Ahwell, great news to finally have a release date! Since they're filling a void, will their next album (Not this one) still be rock music? That single was straight up Pop Rock.I don't really see it blend well with the rest of the heavier songs on the setlist
